The gardens at Hampton Court were beautiful, they must have some sort of watering system, even most of the grass was green. We were a group of just over 30 ladies visiting the HC School of Needlework, we were shown some heirloom pieces of work and an exhibition of students work based on animals, they were amazing. My friend and I and chatted to three lovely Scotish ladies on a trip down to London, we shared a table for lunch. Feeling a bit weary today but nothing planned so I can just please myself. Waiting for a phone call about the car delivery.

I have been battling low grade cystitis for a couple of days (I get it once or twice a year and it goes after few days with plenty of water. It's not like the 'peeing broken glass' type I have had where I had to get antibiotics) I will be glad when that is gone though.

Went into Sunderland although We were both born and raised there its years since we have been into the city centre ,
We had a nice shopping trip and had lunch there ,

Gem I got THE DRESS in fact I bought that dress a nice lime green /Yellow one and also a nice floaty top sort of a peachy colour with a dipped hem ,
For those wondering when we met up Gem had a lovely dress on I loved it so I have bought the same one

You need to get your Cystitis under control before your trip away you don't need that spoiling things,

Afternoon all the ladies been to hairdresser to day a long job today don’t know why but feel fresher and cleaner 😃
OH had put the new conservatory blinds up all 8 of them looks good !
Dog arriving tonight for her vacation along with bed, and food , I don’t like giving the food she eats from those sachets it smells repulsive and then I have to mix it with biscuits excuse me while I gip !!!! She’s an old dog so easy to look after hopefully

Gem OUCH about the fingers it’s so easily done but stings like heck 👆🏻Look after the bladder Gem drink plenty as you know and don’t eat tomatoes they are very acidic and make it worse, nothing worse than cystitis

Oma - I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to sunderland and got The Dress! It sounds as though Qwerty is keen to get one as well. It could become the GRU Dress!!!

Gem - I do hope while you're rushing round today you don't forget to keep drinking lots of water - you want to be better for tomorrow.

Nana - I hope your OH is starting to feel a bit better, poor chap.

Plant - there are some very talented people about, whatever art form you think of, so I can imagine how much you must have enjoyed the Exhibition. HC are a bit naughty if they've been watering the grass, but perhaps they have underground irrigation from springs or ponds. I bet it was nice to see green grass though - we've forgotten what it looks like!

Qwerty - have you had a new hairstyle? If so we need photos! I'm sure the dog will think she's on holiday too. Yes, the sachets smell, but definitely not as bad as raw green tripe. Fortunately in our house Eva gobbles it up so quickly the smell doesn't have time to 'settle'! Your old girl will probably sleep a lot in this heat as well. We're not even walking Eva on hot days - she gets too excited and then too hot very quickly, and it's not worth the risk.

I still haven't done any gardening. OH wanted me to sort out the photos I took of the damaged awning and then it was getting close to lunchtime so I cleaned downstairs, had lunch, and then cleaned the bathrooms and our bedroom. At least it's done now, and I can go out in the garden for an hour or so now. See you later!

Daisy as Storm isn't eating I have just bought him some Tripe for tomorrow , it's disgusting but if he eats it I don't mind , I think either he's missing my DD or he's bored with his food , He was at his Grans today and ate some raw chicken , if he's still not eating tomorrow I think DD will have to take him to Vet she's back Saturday , he seems fine just not eating

I'd like to know if Oma got the dress, if that means Qwerty wore cling film on her head at the hairdresser's & had a little stroll outside with a ciggie on the go?😂 By the way I'll not be getting 'The dress' unless it can be altered into a top to wear with trousers. The last dress I wore was 1995 for my wedding. A suit actually.

My aim today was to take a rose plant up to put in a large ceramic pot. It's dying but was a b-day gift from my brother last yr. Moving it will kill or cure. Unearthed a flying ant's nest & red ants...arggghhhh.😲 Hope I don't have ants in mi pants. Was going to weed but the soil is rock hard.

Oma. I'm not saying it's the same with Storm but when OH is away golfing over a 3day event our J hardly eats until he comes back. He'll eat normally then. Hope he's just hot & missing her & not ill.😯
