I heard that film you are going to see is good Mimi. We intended to go bit never did.
I didn't know you were qualified in beard trimming Grauntie

My day went well. Meeting all good and we managed to book the next one no problem
I had my reflexology , and reflexologist is getting used to the idea of having a little boy. Apparently at the Mothercare scan her mum (who is my friend) said 'Oh NO!' when they were told it was a boy. Not very helpful
I got the plants OH wanted from the nursery, plus a couple of cards. I collected my swimsuits from M&S, which fit fine. I got the 2 Dine in For £10 offer for Friday night too.

OH is back and had a good day. Rather than tiring her, playing every day seems to make her play better!

That looks yummy Qwerty. My crumbles have found homes. One next door, DIL and GS4 popped in and they took one, the other is in the freezer for GS1 next time he is here. I still have some crumble mixture in the freezer. I am trying to use last years apples before the next lot come.

Good evening, everyone. I've just managed to catch up on reading about what you've all been up to. I'm beginning to worry that as a group we seem to be accident-prone insomniacs, or have OHs or children who are. I do hope Mr Sandman does the rounds properly tonight, all headaches, tummy aches and toothaches get better, and what else - oh, yes, and we get another sunny day tomorrow, although it's rained tonight and we seem to be in for thundery showers tomorrow.

Today, after a latish start, my sister-in-law and I decided on a mooch round the garden centre, which was lovely. We called into the coffee shop there for a quick lunch, and then sat chatting for ages. I bought a few tomato plants to put in the troughs outside - there's no way I'm going to grow anything of seed this year!! Then we went into the pet shop for me to get yet another lead to keep in my car - Cooper keeps eating them! I treated Eva to a lump of tree root as she was such a good girl on holiday. See, that's what you get for being good - a lump of root!!! She was pleased with it anyway!

It was a lovely sunny day so we sat out in the garden having a drink before dinner. OH and his brother spent the day doing woodturning - happy as Larry, both of them!

Not sure what we're doing tomorrow yet - the weather may help us make up our minds - but we're going out for dinner tomorrow night, which will be lovely.

I'll pop in here as and when I can - be good - and careful! xx

When you've time Daisy can you enlighten me on the tree root please? I've never heard of it being a dog treat. Qwerty I'm pleased that you can step back a little & give yourself some breathing space. Wow ...the baking looks yummy & the talk of fruit crumbles. Mmmmmm. Hunger strikes.

OH off golfing for the day tomoro ~or should that be today? I may take the chance to throw out some of his stuff while he's not here to see it go. Only stuff he can't remember he's got. He drags his feet when it comes to de-cluttering so I might just give him a helping hand.😂😉

Forgot...Grauntie I'm pleased, but envious, that you were able to visit the Tate Modern. 🤗😢 Mimi I've seen 3 Billboards. I'll be interested to know what you think after you've seen it.

                    Good morning ladies.

I need to get mince and onion in the slow cooker, want some cottage pies for the freezer.
Not sure what else i'/we are doing.

Nana, hubby has been going to sort through his wardrobe for months. I'm still waiting.
We visited Tate modern a few years ago. A bit too wacky for our liking.

Daisy, pleased Eva was good on holiday.Never heard of tree root for dogs either.

                    Qwerty, pie looks so scrummy.
Glad DD managed to eat something.
As Plant says, the left over crumble will freeze ok.

Good morning all. It’s raining here this morning, typical, I gave the garden a good watering yesterday evening. Never mind.

How is everyone today , all well I hope .

Oma and Mr Oma I think soft blended food for you two today .

Qwerty the pies look really tasty.

Hope you all have better weather than we have at the moment.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

                        Good moaning each.
It has rained in the night but looking good at present. OH is golfing all day and I have plenty to do. In fact, I have so much to do I don’t know where to start. With a cup of tea, I think!
                        Have a good day all.

                          Good morning ladies.
That's Oma, Mr Oma and Qwerty's DD for the soft food Mimi
Daisy, what a busy time, visitors straight after your holiday! Nice though too, a chance to catch up, chat and have meals out

                          Sunny here again.
Thursday, so Tesco delivery and seeing my mum. I order her weekly shop on my Tesco order as much as I can, but there are often extra things from Wilko or Thomas's to pick up on the way. I have a couple more bedding plants to plant for her, and everything to water, as she seems to water nothing between my visits
No golf for OH. She has 2 hours gardening this morning for a lady she works for sometimes, then I hope she will rest! Her turn to cook tonight, as she has eaten out the last 3 nights, and I had to fend for myself

                          Have a good day everyone!

Morning ladies rather cloudy start here, we did not get the rain we were forecast. I need to retrieve my little case from the loft and get packed for tomorrow, no real plans for today. Hope the Omas are on the mend and your DD Qwerty. I can't remember the last time hubs and I went to the cinema, but a long time ago, just doesn't seem to be on our radar. But then I have DVD's still in their wrapping. 😀 Still waiting for a response to our offer, starting to think the vendors live in outer Mongolia 😕 Will walk
dogs later although Shiloh has been un well since yesterday afternoon, off his food which is unheard of, been sick as well. His gums are pink and healthy so I assume he had a tummy bug or more likely with him, he has found and eaten something on his walk yesterday. Monitoring and if no better by morning will be a trip to the vets, he is quite lethargic this morning, completely not in Springer hyper mood.

Looks as if we have had quite a bit of rain, hope the sun shines later.

Hope all the sore and poorly ones are feeling better, Libra I expect Shiloh senses you are leaving him again Libra, I bet your Devon family can't wait to see you, hope you hear something about your offer soon.

Looks like no gardening today, not sure what I can find to do, some filing of papers which are piling up on the desk perhaps, but feel like doing something more creative.
