Mimi - on the Forum front page it's below The Tea Room and Granny's Rest - 4th item down.
Just checking - are you logged in, 'cos you won't see it if you ain't.
But one of us will check the settings. We know Admin and Mods can see it and I've logged in as Granny Mary and it's there.
At least the sun's shining to get your washing dried.

I know Nan2 it will feel very strange but will be nice to have them on our terms for sleepovers or a day out to suit us , will have time for a shower on the mornings they used to come I couldn't face it at 7 in the morning, we will have our tea at a reasonable hour instead of 7/8 at night won't be rushing at the w/e to get jobs done can spread things over the week as the two days were devoted to the kids, having said that I have enjoyed the experience of looking after twins and they are adorable just feeling a bit old now to run about after them π©Originally posted by Nanto2girls View PostQwerty, you will be wondering what to do with time, when you have the twins fr just 1 day every couple of weeks.

Qwerty I would do the same with mine , having them 5 days I would rush around at weekends doing everything I could up at 6 each morning to get sorted before they arrived , when I was able to just get up and have a shower in my time I found it very strange , took me a long time to stop jumping out of bed at the crack of dawn , you will wonder where you found the time to do everything
but you wouldn't have missed them early years for the world would you xxx

Oma, make a note of which threads and I will have a look at settings.
Exciting time for GS, Plant.
We are in our hotel room having a cuppa. Lovely and sunny here.
The journey down was uneventful, we made good time. Leaving home was not quite so simple. We got everything into the car,and OH couldn't find the car keys. We both looked everywhere, as you do. OH was getting very cross with herself as it was she who had them last. We had planned to drop into my mums on the way to take her a couple of audio library books. To save time I went over by myself, leaving OH to continue the search. When I got back, she had found them. In her golf shoes, in the garage

Thank you all - we're pleased you like the new lay-out. There are more changes to come, but we won't hit you with them all at once. We don't want it to be like the supermarket when they put the cornflakes where the soap powder used to be!
Oma and Qwerty - you have both done far more than your fair share of caring for your GCs. I take my hat off to you both!
Oma - the dog food delivery arrived nice and early - just before lunch, so I was able to defrost some to portion up to take on holiday. I have to say it was all more exciting than the stuff OH got from the supermarket for us!!!
Plant - what a lovely GS you've got, and how nice that he had to be persuaded to take any payment for all his hard work. When does he go off to Uni? Did you say he was going to Birmingham? Sorry, I can't remember.
