Hope you feel better soon Plant. When it’s so hot you can’t comfort yourself with nice hot drinks like you would do in Winter.Just keep hydrated and take it easy to give your body the chance to fight the bug.

We had an earlyish walk round the top of the cliffs. The cows that roam everywhere round here were all gathered on the top of the Three Cliffs .Goodness knows why they go up there. They look so precarious but seem quite sure footed like mountain goats!

It’s really hot again here so salad sandwiches for lunch.Not sure about this evening’s meal though.

Hope those of you meeting up with various friends today enjoy themselves .Remember unless really vital chores will happily wait for you for another day. They’re good like that.

Well B went to his Mams so I decided to Dust and hoover the bedrooms …
That led to clearing two 12ft sliding wardrobes out and re arranging them , a big cupboard in our Bedroom that holds all the coats , The Linen cupboard , The Toy cupboard ,
Bathroom and landing cupboard
Sorted a good lot for the charity shop but now im shattered and te sweat is dripping off me

Oma - we've got a wooden worktop in the utility room. It's for ever in need of sanding and re-oiling. I wouldn't have another.

I've said the same about wooden worktops! Last time OH did ours he said he'd put more coats of varnish (or whatever it is) on for better protection, and it still wasn't enough. I've been treating it like delicate china, using towels to protect it etc, and yesterday OH cleaned the barbecue racks etc in the utility room sink - and made a mess of the work top!

Plant - your brandy will help you sleep better, I'm sure. Take care. xx

Morning ladies ,
I was in bed for 8pm last night I felt really poorly , massive headache pains in my stomach and just feeling rough ,
I feel a lot better today just drained ,no idea what was wrong came and went so to speak , got up to take pain killers about 3 still felt the same but then woke at 6 fine ,

Its dull and wet hear
Nanto they always look lovely when first done but you have to protect them all the time like Daisy I use draining mats tea towels etc but you cant stop everything getting on them

Usual Monday rush for me to go and collect GDs and Cooper, so must go and get ready. I don't have to go out quite so early in the school holidays but need to give GS2 and DIL time to get to work!

Grauntie has been a bit quiet these last few days!

Today I am going out to lunch with DD1 and GS1. There are play facilities where we are going, so hopefully GS will play and we can chat a bit! DD is then going off to Wales for work. GS is with us overnight, and all day tomorrow. I will take him home after tea tomorrow night.
Lots of golf for OH this week. Today, tomorrow and Thursday.
