Oma, looks like you didn't get much sleep.
I didn't get off till abour 4 ish,then woke up at 7.

Anyway,onwards and upwards.
Next job,cleaning the oven. Had shelves soaking all night in oven pride.
I always leave them outside.

Nana I was spraying my oven at 4.30 this morning left it to soak and do its job then went to bed at 5 , got up at 7.30 and bless his heart B had cleaned it all out for me it's sparkling now 😊
As I had cleaned during night there was only the floors to mop this morning so a easy quiet day for me .

Feeling a bit better today, not sure what I am going to do apart from a trip to the chemist, might put a duster around the bedroom and Sitting Room, who knows. I thought it was hotter than ever yesterday, love this weather but a little cooler will suit me better.

Our youngest two are coming with mummy for a swim this afternoon- such fun! We’ve had good use of it this summer !

Would have loved a pool this year. Walked up to chemist to get prescription this morning, called at cafe on the green for a coffee. It was a very hot walk, about a mile there and back, felt bushed when I got back. Opened every window and door to get a breeze through. Quite cloudy now and lovely and cool.

I hope the Cavalry arrived Qwerty.

Afternoon all.

Busy day here. Work this morning then off for Haematology hospital appointment. Decided to go by bus as parking is atrocious.and bus stops near OP Department. However the bus broke down and the next one wasn’t for another hour so I rang for a taxi to make it on time.I offered the only other passengers,a young Mum and her son a lift in the taxi which she gratefully accepted. Got to the hospital right on time but Consultant didn’t appear until 45minutes past clinic start time. The nurse said I had the first appointment but would I mind if another lady who had just come out of hospital,was in a wheelchair and not feeling too good went in front of me.Of course I agreed but she was in for half an hour so one way and another we had a long wait. Anyway not a lot of change for me but got to wait for an appointment for a scan.

Gold star on its way to you Clover!!! Hope blood tests and scan are good and you can carry on as you've been doing! OH's consultant is invariably late though he has been getting better lately. Hope your return journey was better!

Hot and stuffy here and have to say this has been one of the most unpleasant days of the summer. I went out walking reasonably earlier and it was a job just putting one foot in front of the other! Glad it wasn't like this last week in Liverpool...I'd have been in the Mersey not crossing it on a ferry!

DS is coming back for holiday in September. A good friend of his is expecting a baby and he's told her that his Mum is knitting something for the new arrival!!! I've got the little blanky I knitted but I think I'd better have a look and find something else that won't take too long to complete. Sons, don't you just love them? The other beauty was : Are you doing anything after you pick me up from Stansted? Well, how do you fancy going to the football? It's the only chance I'll get to see them when I'm back! Dad won't go because he can't stand football, so it's back to the days of taking him to the match. Used to crack me up when we met pupils from my school there..wonder if any of them still go? He didn't mention that it's an away match hence me taking him!!
