Plant - I hope you aren't in too much pain, and it's good you are getting help straight away. It does sound as though you were in the right place if you were going to have a fall. xx

Poor you Plant. I hope the pain is under control. Sitting waiting for the promised torrential rain etc. but it is brightening up now! We often miss the bad weather in this corner of Essex.😄Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.

Good morning all.
Plant, the irony of having a fall at the falls clinic wasn't lost on meI hope you feel much better soon. Glad you got your shopping sorted out.
Lots of rain here. Thunderstorms forecast this morning but nothing yet, and in fact the rain has stopped.
Mum loved seeing baby T yesterday and was amazed how much he had grown and changed. GD enjoyed showing her her medals from school and dancing, and her tricks with string which her grandad taught her. All in all a very succesful visit
Blood test today prior to BP review next week and some shopping to do. A hoover badly needs pushing around at some point too!!

Morning ladies had a huge thunder storm from 4-4.45 then it stopped ,again at 5.30 till just after 6 so no sleep for us its bouncing with rain the dog is loving it , I have done all my jobs washing in tumble dryer and even cleaned my kitchen drawers out and gave them a scrub if nothing else up so early gave me a push to catch up on little jobs I hadn't done , I have just put throws on the sofa and chairs as dog keeps coming in and shaking himself so protects them a little bit 😊
I have just ordered myself a new Dyson V 6 absolute stick hoover , mine is past its best and I use it every day much easier than a big hoover , I have a Dyson ball cylinder put it's pulling it around wears me out , it does glide well but sometimes just feels too much for me .The stick ones are not cheap but you get your money's worth out of them .
I also bought myself a egg cupboard to go on work top it arrived yesterday it's cute like a little hen house very pleased with it holds 16 eggs . Small things amuse me don't they 😁 have a good day ladies xx
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, I want one of those. OH thinks it very expensive ( we have an upright Dyson which we have had for years) Compared to all her annual golf costs it's a drop in the ocean however, so I think I wll be buying one“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Afternoon all. Its certainly cooler her today, which in a way is good as OH hasn't been well and I put it down to the atmosphere and the heat. He said he felt as if he couldn't breath and he was dizzy. At one stage I thought we were going to have to go back to the hospital with him but he seems much better today.
I've had the results of my smear back and its all clear thank goodness. In the letter it said that would be the last time I am called for a smear as next time I'm due for the test I will be over 65 and I'm at less risk of cancer.
Now even though I hate having the test, less of a risk is far apart from no risk at all, plus what about the next 3 years till I am 65.? A lot can change in 3 years
Nan2, if you feel inclined you could pop round here with some fish and chips, sounds lovely I can almost smell 'em !Bring me sunshine in your smile.
