Nanto - those hailstones look dangerous! I hope it didn't last long.
Ladies - I still don't know whether my FB account has been hacked along with my friend's. I've emailed her but haven't had a reply yet (big time difference - she's abroad) but after talking to DIL and DS last night, we think the best thing is for me to keep off FB for a few days and see what happens. If any of you should get strange FB messages from "me" please would you let me know through here or my email address. I'll let you know what happens, but perhaps it's a good reminder to check all our privacy settings on FB.

My busy day. Baby T will be here in a while, later we will collect his big sister from school. Last week I left him at home when I did that, as he was asleep in the cot and OH was here. Not sure of her plans today.

Gem - I had a similar situation yesterday and I thought I'd have to wake GD2 up from her nap - this is not for the faint-hearted, she hates being woken up - but fortunately she woke just 10 minutes before I would have woken her. I hope your day goes well. Enjoy your day with Baby T. x

Morning all.
Started sorting clothes etc. for our cruise starting Sunday. So much to think about. It's the little things that drive me mad.I like to be prepared for all eventualities.
It's a lovely day here. Off for a hair appointment this afternoon then back to cut grass. It's very wet this morning after yesterday's rain so hope it has dried up by then.
I've also got to ring up for result of blood test I had last week. I will probably have to sit it out in open surgery tomorrow as unless results are normal no details are given out over the phone.As mine are likely to be askew because of the Lymphoma I'll have to see the doc.but don't want to have to wait until after the holiday to get an appointment. At least our GP's do run open surgeries and the wait is horrendous but it does give me a chance to get some reading done.

It's been warm Clover,but not hot.Sometimes mam has these funny turns, and dad is hopeless.(my inlaws really).
We rang them about an hour ago,and she feels ok now, until next time.Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.Comment

Clover - keeping fingers crossed you don't have to spend half a day in the waiting room - even better if you don't have to go at all. Our surgery ring or write if there's a problem or change in a test result and arrange for the doctor to phone you to discuss the results.
Nanto - I hope your MIL will be ok now. As Clover says, sometimes people just need to have a chat and be reassured.
Oma - welcome back. I hate it when my internet connection is down.
Gem - how did your busy day go?
It's been a glorious day here today. After we got back from dog training I cut the lawn and it was still hot at 6.30. I'd love this weather to last for at least another month to shorten the winter a bit.

Good morning,foggy here this morning.
Daisy,if you sit and talk to mam for an hour or two,she picks up a lot, but keep off the subject of illness.I think she feels better when someone is there.As I said earlier,dad is hopeless at times like that.
Anyway,i will be going round later,to do my usual chores.
Would be lovely if we had another month of good weather,the winter always seems so long.Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.Comment
