Good morning Mimi, and all those follow.
Got a bit behind on here, busy yesterday catching up on housework, with spending quite a bit of time at inlaws last week.
I will definitely catch up with all your news later today.
    Raining a little bit here.

      Good morning all

      Raining here as well.

I'm going over to DD1s this morning. I will go with her to preschool to collect GS. I will be doing it every Monday from the beginning of October, so need to know the procedure!
Lunch with DD and GS, then back home for 2 clients this afternoon.

Good Monday morning everyone. Love the graphics Nanto and Mimi.

It's quite dull here, but apparently there was a glorious red sky at sunrise. Oh dear, that's a sailor's and/ or shepherd's warning, isn't it! I'd better take a jacket when I go to collect GD2 from play group. Before then, I've got to get the spare room ready for our visitors arriving tomorrow and do a few loads of washing!

Gem - I find I have to go to pick GD2 up quite early to get a parking space near to the playgroup. It's a narrow lane and some drivers treat it like a motorway, and 2 year olds aren't very good at holding hands - at least GD2 isn't!

I hope Clover is enjoying her cruise.

Plant - how are you today?

Daisy, GSs preschool, attached to the school he will go to, is about a minutes walk from their house, so I will probably just park at hers

I have an appt to see the doctor to try to get to the bottom of why I keep falling but it is not until Sat morning and if the surgeon says they need to operate that might be Sat or Sun. Expecting my lovely lady to help me get washed and dressed soon. Still very painful and I AM FEELING VERY FRUSTRATED, sorry didn't mean to shout.

Morning ladies, Plant I would be the same 😊 Didn't sleep last night too many things going around my head about DD , what ifs etc . Been to get stuff to make a sherry trifle cheer myself up , we'll it's my excuse and I'm sticking to it 😅😆 hope Clover having a wonderful time on her Cruise , it's a bit dull today doesn't look like it's going to improve , I have to wait in for Plumber now the push button on the upstairs loo keeps sticking so loo constantly filling ,Brian took it off but can't see what the problem is , he most likely could fit a new one but I don't want him messing with it I'm trying to keep him well and out of trouble and if he gets on bathroom floor I will never get him up , he said he wouldn't need to get down there but after the shed business I don't trust him

Poor you plant, I can imagine your frustration. Hope they get to the bottom of why you keep falling, frustrating to have to wait until Saturday for you. Take it easy.

Plant, I can imagine how frustrating it must be.

When DD and I collected GS from preschool he was bursting with pride he had a big star on his jumper, and was holding a certificate, saying he was Star Of The Day. This was for being kind and helping to tidy up. We were pleased with this encouraging rewards system. It certainly made our little lad very happy.
DD took me out for lunch, then I had to race back for my 2 clients!

Been awake since 3am, so got up about 4ish. Sat and watched the news, that was all bad news.
Drizzling here, and we were hoping to get some jobs done in the garden this afternoon.

Good morning, Nanto - although after such an early start it must feel like lunchtime now. There's never anything in the news to cheer us up, is there!

It's dull and drizzly here - the white washing I hung out yesterday is still there, still dripping. I can't put any of it in the drier, so I might just leave it there until the rain stops! (I hope Oma doesn't read this - she'll have a fit!)

Just off to collect GD2 and bring her back here. she's got a poorly cold and was quite grumpy yesterday, poor little lass. Our visitors are arriving mid afternoon and I haven't made their bed up yet - or cleaned their room. Also feeling very sad - it's the funeral of a very old friend today - too far away for us to go, especially with GD2 in tow, but I know I'll be thinking about him all day.
