We don't celebrate it, but it looks like our eldest does. Just taken a delivery of red roses for him, they are for his lady friend.
He is picking them up on his way home from work.
Libra, hope the cold clears quickly.
Oma, i have noticed that a lot of people are getting more than 1 cold this year. Must be due to different strains of the virus.
Hope all goes well with your blood tests.
Im just having a breather inbetween jobs. All downstairs has been done.
The sun is shining and there's a bit of a breeze,so i've put a line full of washing out.
Gem, hope you get your birthday presents bought.
Happy birthday to Oma's son. Wishing him a lovely day.

Nan2 I can confirm that it is mild outside, well it was this morning at about 5 am when this mad woman could be seen outside in her dressing gown , scrunched up to the knees as it's a little too long and I didn't want it trailing in the puddle and wearing old garden shoes, torch in one hand, water pistol in the other looking for the noisy tom cat that got into my kitchen and scared the life out of my poor cat ! It tends to sit on our fence making one hell of a noise.
Just a normal morning in Mimi's household!

Mimi, what a start to your day, but made me smile, I can see you now

it it certainly seems much milder here too, hope it stays dry today. We are out for lunch later and are planning to go to a nice pub in the New Forest so we can enjoy a walk with Dd and her dog. Have a good day everyone.

                      Good morning.

Mimi, if it is any consolation , I have presented a very similar picture at times when Bad Cat, as we call the neighbourhood aggressive tom, has been terrorising my angels!

Definitely a milder day. Computer man coming this afternoon.

Still no chance to catch up, but DS1is collecting the boys this afternoon, so peace will be restored. What happened to moody, sulky teenagers who sleep until lunchtime!! Ours were bouncing around at 7 am, playing with the dogs, radios blaring. I think I might need a glass or 3 of good red wine tonight! 😀

I'm thinking of purchasing a miner's helmet so that I can light the lamp on the top so that I have one hand free to pull up my dressing gown ( not to high, dignity at all times ) and the other hand for the water pistol
