It's an early evening hello from me today, it's the first time I have actually sat down today. I haven't been particularly busy , it's just been one of those days.
Oma how is your head now? I sympathise with you, migraines are horrible.
We seem to be promised a lovely dry , warm weekend so fingers crossed that what we all get .

I'm fine now Mimi it wasn't as long as usual ,it just takes me a day or two to recover it seems to sap my energy and I can't brush my hair as my head on one side feels bruised ,but I will be fine tomorrow , I've had them most of my adult life but they seem to be getting less as I get older ,at one time it wasn't unusual to get them 5/6 times a month and I have been taken to hospital when I was young they were so bad ,thankfully they are not as bad as then now 😊
Daisy he gets fed better than us 😊

I know Oma,Im a wicked Mummy aren't I. But it had to be done,he smells heavenly for a few day at least until we hit the heath again.And the moulting will be less,honestly my poor hoover is on overdrive.

We are very happy with our new doors. They are tri-fold dark grey. The others were white sliding ones. With these we can fold then right back in summer when we have a lot of people round and the dining room and conservatory will flow through like one room.

We walked all around the village this morning, but GS2 did not sleep! He slept both ways in the car when I went for his sister this afternoon though, and again in the cot when we got home, as the window men were finished and gone by then,

Quick change and off to the meeting once DD and the GC left. OH is at a golf quiz and meal. I had to pass this time due to the meeting. I came home, cooked one of my favourite quick meals of baked salmon, baked potato, broccoli and green beans. Got into my pyjamas and dressing gown, watched Greys Anatomy, and now catching up online

Very warm here today, not much done, shopped this afternoon and then sat in the sunroom with the paper until GD came in for our Friday night G and T together.

Well thank you all again for all my super warm birthday wishes. I feel quite accomplished as I've spent the day making GS1's birthday cake & cup cakes for his party on Sunday. All NERF of course. 😂

Good morning, thats a first me being the first one to post. Forecast is for hot sunny weather, fingers crossed it's correct. DD, SIL and girls are off to the lake district for a week, said she will pack light and heavy clothing as weather due to change after Monday. I have eldest 2 girls Monday for 5 hours, but at 141/2 and almost 13 they pretty much see to themselves. They want to make pizzas for lunch bless them. Hope you all get the sunshine this weekend and enjoy.

This afternoon mum and I are going to see my sister, A. She has now moved into the bungalow with just one other lady resident. According to her carer, A has settled very well.
This evening OH and I are eating out with our closest group of friends. Another birthday celebration!

Good morning everyone, on this beautiful sunny day.

My plans for today are fluid! No, I'm not hitting the bottle - well, I might, later on! DIL1 is taking GS1 to Germany for a few days (return trip to exchange student, which GS1 missed by changing schools), leaving DS1 and GS2 to do their own thing. DS1 thinks it would be great to go up to North Wales to do the zip wire (the one Oma's B so bravely did for charity), but hasn't booked anything yet, apart from Bailey the dog into Grandma's Hotel! So not sure when/if they will arrive, whether or not they will stay the night, or how long we will have B for. Oh, and we've planned to go to the allotment this afternoon, and we're out for dinner tonight. So I'm getting beds ready just in case, and everything else will have to take pot luck. The house is still all upside down with the kitchen and dining room work, and of course, GD1 is now on holiday so I will be having both GDs all day Monday and Tuesday - except Tuesday early morning when I have a doctor's appointment!!! Confused? Yes, most definitely.

I hope everyone else has time to enjoy the sunshine and dust their Easter eggs.

Lovely morning here. Plans for the day....gardening. We have a big bay tree at the bottom of the garden that has gone mad so DH wants to tackle that, and I need to tidy up a couple of beds. Everthing is growing well, all looking good.

Its a beautiful day here, there was some fog early this morning but it has lifted now.
Coffee is on and once OH has returned from putting a bet on the Grand National we will sit outside for a while before getting on with a few out type jobs.

Daisy, why no fluids ? You need some fluid intake on a warm day like today.

Morning ladies Mimi I'm back to normal thanks well as normal as can be 😁😁😁
Everyone busy today , it's amazing what we can achieve when the sun shines ,
I tackled the bedrooms this morning then I was dragged kicking and screaming to a car event thing ,sooo boring but only there 1 hour so that wasn't so bad , couldn't complain as I'm dragging him to Ikea tomorrow and you know how much he hates Ikea 😀
I have put the washing out today first time for ages , giving tumble dryer a rest .
Plant any news on the heart monitor thing or have I missed it ? Was thinking about you during the night and couldn't remember if you had said xx

My floor steamer has a bit that detaches and becomes a hand held steamer with attachments , so today I decided to steam the toilets plug holes and waste overflows along with the centre drain in the wet room , all going fine till I forgot and put my hand in front of the steam to unscrew the plug in the sink , I now have two blistered fingers , by did they hurt , high powered boiling steam isn't a place to put your fingers in the way of , 5 minutes under the cold tap and a piece of cling film on them to keep air off them and they not so bad , I did swear not nice words but only I heard them so that's ok 😁😁😁😁 😁
