According to the forecast its going to be mild today. We shall see.

No plans for today, will just go with the flow.

Dinner is pork chops, roast potatoes, veg and might stick a Yorkshire pudding on the plates, and gravy.
The chops are massive.

Good morning, I am well prepared today Nanto, got a chicken stew in the slow cooker before I went to the gym! I got some fresh leaks and carrots from my veg man and decided to do the stew.

The sun is out at the moment after raining non-stop all day long yesterday, at least I got the sewing done, I will see if I can get it lined today.

The chops I bought from our farm shop were massive too not like supermarkets ,
We having a chicken roast today ,
Not very often we make them now but I bought some Sprouts on the stalk and some lovely fresh x
Cavolo Nero cabbage , we will keep some for the dog he does like a Sunday roast 😁.

B going to put the lights up outside today , was doing it a few days ago but rain stopped play , get them up now ready just incase we get constant bad weather .

My Gingerbread house arrived last night sadly it didn’t work , we tried changing the batteries to no avail so it’s wrapped up ready to go back.

I will keep looking.

Poor little H Plant. My GS2 was sick last night, (causing great distress to his phobic sister )

OH is at a golf meal later so I will have salmon.
We expected the course to be closed so its a bit of a surprise for her to be playing. It's a special day they have each year for the volunteers. 9 holes of golf, then to the clubhouse for a free drink a meal .
I hope she is up to it. As she says its fun thing rather than a competition so if she needs to bow out sooner and retire to the clubhouse she can.

Hello everyone.

It's been a busy day here today with visitors this morning, followed by some frantic wrapping up of vulnerable plants in the garden while they were dry, followed by lunch, walking Eva, and more visitors. By then it was dinner time. I also managed a couple of loads of washing and changed out bed.

It's been very windy all day but only a few drops of rain.

Plant, I hope little H is ok and it's just a 24 hour bug.

Gem, It must be hard for your GD if anyone in the family is sick, poor girl. I hope it was just a one-off for GS2. Did S enjoy the golf?

Lizzie, it sounds as though your blazer is making great progress.

Nanto, were those pork chops as nice as they sounded?

Oma, Storm must be the luckiest dog in the world getting roast dinners like that!

After our visitors left I did smoked makarel with a warm potato salad, broccoli and beetroot - quick and easy and quite tasty.

I have had a very lazy day
Apart from hanging washing on airers and making my meal I have sat around all day. I must get some exercise tomorrow!

We've finally decided we'll have to go and look at fridges and freezers. I was hoping to do it online, but we can't make our minds up! So that's today's activities sorted out.

Reflexology for me this morning.
GS1 is coming after school. I don't need to collect him as he is having his hair cut after school so his mum will drop him here afterwards. He was told at school he must have his hair tied back for PE. This is apparently unacceptable to GS, hence the hair appointment!

Good Morning I'll try again ?

Up nice and early this morning ladies after having had a really good nights sleep.

DS1 brought me another 1ltr of Baileys and leg of lamb which are on offer at Sainsburys this week I think he forgets that there is only me here and a full leg of lamb will last me forever and a day,but he is a good boy & thoughtful.

I enjoyed my nightout with my friends from Scotland we did a lot of catching up from our time in Spain and they are calling in today for afternoon tea which should be good.

Today I am feeling slightly better in myself and nay try and see how I feel about going out tomorrow just a little trip out in my car down to Morrisons and walk down to the beach for some fresh air,
