Sorry to hear GS1 is still under the weather.

Gem, being bust at the library stops you from getting bored.

Not having dinner till hubby and DS1 get back from Doncaster.
Settled for jacket potato with tuna mayo and cheese.
Followed by the cherry pie ( DS1 brought on Sunday,)with runny cream.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Yes, Nan2, it's better to be busy. I love cherry pie

Gemini, It is wonderful that the library is so busy after the fight to keep it open. Sorry to hear GS1 is poorly.

Daisy, how lovely to still have a village cinema, we have lost the two nearest cinemas, only one in town now. Our village hall manager and her OH have started showing films in the hall, problem is it clashes with another commitment so I haven’t been able to go.

Oma, I hope Mil enjoys her tea out. GS1 knows he will always find a welcome in your house.

Have any of you who had the bluebell bulbs got the leaves showing?

Gem, it has eventually stopped raining here as well. Poor GS1 - I hope he's soon better, but good timing for you after such a busy morning in the Library. It's so good to know how popular it is. We said this about the cinema yesterday - it's just a pop up cinema in our village hall, but very popular.

I've had a lazy day so far, and just put a casserole in for dinner tonight. OH has got someone coming to see him tonight - I'll make myself scarce, and perhaps take Eva for a night-time walk.

Daisy, that must be like our pop up cinema in our Village Hall. Unfortunately it clashes with my Ex Guiders meeting.

Nanto, are these Plant's bluebells? How lovely that they have settled down in your garden and are growing.

Oma, pleased to hear MIL enjoyed her tea out. It makes it more enjoyable for everyone. Your GS1 is such a lovely lad and obviously thinks the world of you and B.

Plant, what a shame your pop-up cinema clashes with your ex-Guiders' meeting.

Good morning everyone, I had a very busy day on Monday, like Gem, I would certainly have earned my money! At least they appreciate what we do! On Friday I am going to a high tea in our village, for 2 days here in the Netherlands people can volunteer to help other people, now others will be working to help me! I got a mail from our housing saying 50 people could go for high tea and I am one of them, I got the mail and accepted straight away. The place where I do the coffee are making pancakes, that is very popular as well.

Oma, I am pleased that your MIL enjoyed her meal with you both.

My friends are back from Norway, I took the sewing back yesterday, the lady has had the flu whilst she was there and their DS2 was rushed to the hospital at the same time with a burst appendix, so it was a worrying time.

On Monday it rained most of the day then started again yesterday afternoon, they forecast dry and warmer today, it could reach 18 degrees tomorrow, we shall have to wait and see if they are right.

Nan2, you do right to go to the funeral, for the girls sake.

Reading about the cinema, they do that where I do the coffee as well, I think on a Sunday, I know one of the ladies once complained because it wasn't actually a film for elderly people, too much sex! There is a new cinema opened near where I go to the pool, I heard from a friend that there are 8 halls.

I hope to get into the aqua this morning, otherwise I will just have to wait a few weeks, I think the last income tax help is on April 8th. I will go to the circuit though, I like the Wednesday group.

Doesn't look like a bad morning.

Daisy, the pinkbells Plant sent are in a tub with our bluebells.
Will take a photo later. They aren't in flower yet.

Lizzie, what a shame about your friend having flu while on holiday and their son being in hospital.
Hope you have recovered from your busy day.

Upstairs cleaning for me and changing the bedding.

Fish fingers, fries and peas for dinner.

                          Good morning dear ladies

Lizzie. I often say if OH and I were paid for all the things we do week to week, we would be flying first class on holiday!
                          You deserve the high tea.

Aquafit this morning. One of my friends is going, not sure about the other. We will have coffee afterwards.
OH and I are going out this afternoon to buy a couple of things to take on our weekend away. Mainly a meal for Saturday. We are eating out on Friday and Sunday and want something easy for Saturday night.
                          It's not raining.

                              Good Wednesday morning everyone.

Lizzie, isn't often the way - you go on holiday and get a cold. I hope your friend is ok, and her son. A burst appendix can be very serious, so I hope he's making a good recovery. Enjoy your high tea on Friday. You do so much for other people, it's nice to see you getting a treat as well. I had to laugh about the lady who thought there was too much sex in the films for older people!

Nanto, I'd forgotten they were pinkbells, but when they all flower they will be beautiful.

Gem, I agree, you and S would be very rich! Not long now till your week-end in Northumberland. What's the weather forecast like?

Oma, I bet Storm thinks the days with you and B are the best days as well - he's treated like a king! I bet he wouldn't refuse the tuna if you forgot to put the mayonnaise on it.

It's a different Wednesday for us today. OH has to go to a funeral at lunch time, so no car work today, and there's no dog training either. I'm worried because the trainer never cancels classes unless it's something serious, and I know her OH is having health problems and was at the hospital last week for tests. She's cancelled all classes this week and turned off comments on the FB group. I hope they're ok.

My Sister-in-Law's funeral is on 26 March. Family from north Wales are coming down the day before and will stay with us until the day after. It will be lovely to see them, but it will be a sad occasion.

Some of the bluebells might be pink or blue

Daisy too many funerals for you lately I think.

Oma we know you and B spoil Storm but tuna, mayo and ice cream, meal fit for a king.

Gemini, Not long now to wait for your trip, I hope the weather is fine for you.

Lizzie, what a disappointing holiday for your friend.
