Hope the headache has gone Oma.
I got a few windows cleaned, those that didn't have the sun on them.
Then i cleaned the cupboard under the kitchen sink. There was too much stuff in.
So,some of the cleaning stuff has been moved to my big cleaning box in the outhouse.
It looks a lot tidier now.

DS1 called in,stayed for tea and cakes.
Just as he was leaving, bro in law from the bungalow came. Tea and caked served again.

Plant, a shame about your cleaning lady, when you were so happy with her.

Well I had a Nana nap and felt so much better .

Decided to clean the big mirror in the dinning room , it’s a pain as I have to move the sideboard to get to it ,
      B was clearing leaves again.
Anyway got that done and decided to clean all inside of windows downstairs ,

That led to washing front door down and front window sills ,
I then carried on cleaned all my tiles in the kitchen ,utility and downstairs loo.
B said it smells like a chip shop in here as I use White vinegar to clean them 😁

I then gave the bathroom a good clean ,
cleaned shelves in both cabinets threw away lots of bits like almost empty shampoo bottles etc .

I don’t know where the burst of energy came from 😁

After tea we went to DDs to spend a couple hours with her and GS he is here till Sunday came down after his last lecture this afternoon .
SIL was out on a lads night

Im rather tired now so hopefully I will sleep tonight 😁

        Good morning ladies.

Oma, sometimes when you use energy it makes more energy.
Makes you feel good, well it does me anyway.

We are going to Wakefield today, seeing as we didn't go last week. Not going for anything special, but will browse the shops. Got a few bits on my list. We will eat out. We park up in the Ridings next to Sainsburys, so will pop in there for milk and bread when we are ready for home.

        Have a good day ladies.

Good morning, it is dull and drizzly here as well Oma after being lovely yesterday, I even got my washing dried out on the balcony.

I got a mail saying the housing cooperation hasn't reached their goal of 70% yes votes, I didn't think they would, too many negative reactions, now they are giving the people that voted no to December 1st to change their votes, with a lot of help thrown in from helping clear furniture to nights in a warm hotel, oh, and all done in one week instead of two, so, I hope it all helps, we have a meeting on Thursday to discuss it all so I will know more then.

I am actually sewing the blazer, it is no weather to be out and about so will keep me occupied.

I did get the windows cleaned out on the balcony side on Thursday and the pots from the olive trees packed in their winter blankets.

              Good morning all.

              Nan2, enjoy Wakefield.

Oma, we are fine thank you. I enjoyed having GS2 yesterday. Deafness is improving thank goodness! I have been off coffee all week and enjoyed one this morning which was progress

Lizzie, I hope they can get more votes.

No plans for us today. A little online Christmas shopping for me maybe .OH is happy with TV snooker

I wrote this last night, but for some reason it didn't post -

Nanto, I'm with Plant and Gem, not a morning person, but I do rather envy those who are. You get so much more done and then have more day to relax in.

Plant, what a pity about your cleaner. I hope the next one is just as nice. Did you get the pansies planted?

Oma, I hope your headache didn't last too long.

Gem, we don't have wheelie bins, so I'm intrigued to know what stickers you got? I hope you and S didn't get too tired.

It's been an interesting day for us! The walk was starting in a village about 30-40 minutes drive away. But we (and most of the others) got stuck in one of the worst traffic jam through a town I've been in for ages. The reason, a very short bit of road works (30-40 yards) with a 4-way traffic control that was completely bonkers. Luckily the pub was happy for us to arrive late for lunch! The walk was mainly by the River Test (where Chris Packham often films) but one part was through loads of people's private gardens! It is a public footpath and quite a lot of the gardens were completely open, some had fences and gates for a bit of privacy. It was also very muddy and near the end was a long steep hill. The view at the top was beautiful but OH and I were glad to get back to the pub for lunch and a sit down! Eva has slept all evening!

I definitely need an early night tonight.

                  Good Saturday morning, everyone.

Oma, I'm exhausted reading about what you got done yesterday! I hope you did sleep well.

Gem, it's lovely to hear you are definitely on the mend and enjoying coffee again. How is S?

Nanto, I hope the weather improves. Are there a lot of indoor malls in Wakefield?

Lizzie, I suppose people are frightened of change. The status quo is 'safe' and they don't realise what benefits the work will bring. I hope you get the extra votes needed. Making a blazer sounds very complicated. I'd love to see a photo when it's finished, please.

After our long walk yesterday I slept for 9 hours! OH's legs are stiff (he doesn't walk as much as me generally) and Eva looks like she's had a night on the tiles - all heavy eyes. I'll pop back later - we're only just having breakfast!

Daisy, OH is much improved too. Not ready for coffee yet though!
Our old green (garden waste) wheelie bin which they took away to replace with new one had cat stickers on. We almost got the same ones but chose birds and squirrels instead! We find putting wheelie bin stickers on makes it easy to find your own bin when the bin men leave them randomly anywhere!
You must have needed that sleep

I am feeling bushed today, can’’t think why. I did get some of the pansies planted but more to do. Weather not inviting today. I have two large stone planters on stands given to me as a leaving present from the school. They need replanting, got to empty them first, I shall plant them with heathers and ivy again, adding some annuals. Spent most of the day yesterday with GD and H, went to the library and had lunch, GD driving again. Her mother had gone with her to pick up a new phone from a shop near where she is moving to, H is next door. The funeral is on the 1st Dec. Her OH says they are moving next Friday.

Daisy that sounds like a lovely but very tiring walk, no wonder Eva was tired. How are the craft makers getting on, I hope they have a fine day for their sale.

Lizzie, I hope that they can get a yes vote this time, sounds like a good deal for everyone.

Oma, hope to hear about a new cleaner early next week, if they can’t provide one, I shall have to look on the local website.

Gemini, pleased to hear you are both feeling a bit stronger.

Nanto, I hope you have an enjoyable shop in Wakefield. I suppose the shops will be getting Christmassy now. Must get some ideas for Christmas presents myself.

Plant I think winter is more tiring anyway, and you are a busy lady.

We went out this afternoon to BM Bargains and our local Sainsbury's and Cats Protection shop. We bought Christmas cards from CPL and tickets for the raffle.

Chinese takeaway for tea tonight so no cooking for either of us

Well ladies,i think the universe is working against us going to Wakefield.
                              We didn't get there again.
When we were getting changed to go,DS2 rang to see of we were going into town.
To us the kids come first,so into town we went, and met up with him at the cafe.
Maybe next week will be third time lucky.
Daisy, the main 2 malls in Wakefield are Trinity Walk and The Ridings.
Trinity Walk is where we park up outside of Sainsburys.
It was just as good a day in town though.
Popped into Asda on our way home for milk and a box of Forrero Rocher to put in with daughter in laws birthday presents.
