Today turned out different to expected,in a good way.

Bedding changed and washed. Upstairs cleaned.
While we were having dinner, BIL from the bungalow rang hubby to see if he could go down and help him move something.
After tidying up we went down. Only to find he had moved it himself.
So, we stayed for a natter. Half an hour later,cheeky me, asked if the kettle was broken.
Oh, we are going to make a drink they both said. An hour later we came home without getting a cuppa.
I admit me and hubby drink a lot of tea and coffee,but nobody sits in our house for an hour and a half and don't get a cuppa.

Did you choose a fridge freezer Daisy?

I was supposed to get a package from Amazon today, but got a message about 6ish, saying they are running late and it will be delivered tomorrow.

We went into several white goods shops and didn't find what we wanted, but I wasn't feeling well when we went out - sore throat and shivery - and I came home and went to bed. I just hope I sleep tonight!

Reflexology was good but the knee reflex on my left foot was very sore!
I went to the library to return something and told them I will start back next week ( probably slowly!) They were delighted and it made me feel good
GS hasn't had much hair cut off but hopefully enough!

GD FaceTimed me this morning, she said H is a little better but is still coughing. They were cuddled up watching Pony Express for the hundredth time.

I am trying to get ideas from everyone for Christmas presents, they are very good with ideas for the children but not for themselves so it looks like money. I am not keen to do that, I like them to have a present under the tree, perhaps I can find them something small between them plus the cash. It is so much easier to transfer money but not the same as a cheque.

Daisy, I know you don’t like shopping but I do think you need to go and look at something like a freezers and fridges.

We have lovely sunshine atm. Pansies still not planted. The days are so short I must get up earlier.

I'm going into town with hubby, but he'll be meeting his pal.
Going to see daughter in law at work to take her birthday presents. It's not until December 1st, but her and DS2 are here, there and everywhere after the next 2 days. Then at the end of the month they are going to Amsterdam.

I'll pick up a few bits while I'm in town.

Good morning everyone, I have just banged my head, hard! I opened a cupboard door and my foot was in the way, I expected the door to be open, it wasn't! I will survive!

I had a very busy day yesterday, coffee, aqua then again in the evening for coffee instead of Wednesday, it is voting day here and most of the men are manning the polling stations so they were there last night. Oh, in-between times I went to the dietician, I want to go every few months for control.

Daisy, I hope you are feeling better today, so many colds and flu going around at the moment, GD1 was at home a few days last week with a stomach bug, she is better now though.

Plant, I hope you get sorted with the Christmas presents.

Nanto, strange that you call in to visit and are not offered a drink!

A friend is coming for coffee then I want to get the blazer (altered), there was something nagging me and I have solved the problem so can get it finished now.

I had a terrible night again so I’m very tired today , both me and B were up having a hot drink at 4.30 ,
I had been up and down since 11 just couldn’t sleep , eventually went for a hour at 6 but woke again just after 7.

Ive done a dark wash they dry ready to iron when I have the energy and I’ve done a quick dust but not my usual
I can’t be bothered .

Went to put the recycle bin out this morning and my neighbour was walking down the street ,
She has worn hearing aids for years since a teenager infact.
I haven’t seen her for a couple of weeks ,
She told me she had a head cold and her hearing went completely, DR sent her to the hospital they told her she had had a virus in her inner ear and may never hear again.

Luckily she lip reads well but has to be right in front of you ,
She has always used sub titles on her TV so that’s not a problem but she said she misses not hearing the voices of her grandchildren .

She did have a chuckle when I said you will miss Barry’s voice her husband ,she laughed and said she ignored him most of the time anyway .

Its raining very hard here and so dark I have the lamps on .

I don't know how you cope with the constant bad nights. I haven't had a good night since my op, although it's definitely slowly getting back to normal. That's only 9 weeks, compared to most of the time for you

Good Tuesday morning, everyone.

Thank you all for asking about me. To be honest, I feel awful, but I think my temperature has come down. It's the sort of chesty cough I used to get regularly at at this time of year, but I thought I'd outgrown it!

I'm going back to bed - I'm tired even though I slept fairly well last night - certainly better than Oma did.
