A day of sun and showers is the forecast for us.

No plans so i think it will be upstairs cleaning for me.

Fish fingers, potato croquettes and peas on the menu today.

    Have a good day ladies.

      Good morning ladies.

There is always some cleaning to be done Nan2, around here anyway!

Aqua this morning then cinema with GD, followed by lunch. We are going to see the new version of The Little Mermaid. I have to leave the class early to get to the cinema in time. There is only one viewing we can see before GD's therapy this afternoon and its tight for time after my class. There are two but the later one is 3D which GD doesn't want to see. Fingers crossed she is coming at all as she had a bad night with anxiety

Good Wednesday morning, everyone. I think today should be dry, but it is cooler than recently with a bit of a breeze.

Lizzie, you certainly transformed those pots. We've used paint from B&Q which gives a grey stone effect and it's easy to use and very effective. We made bedside tables from old iron table stands (the sort you used to see in pub gardens) and painted hardboard tops with the paint. It sounds as though you could do with some rain. Your DS1 sounds a busy man, so I bet the whole family if looking forward to their holiday in Croatia.

Nanto, thank you for the smiley 'good morning'. Cleaning can be never-ending, can't it. I was on my way to bed last night and decided I couldn't stand the dust in the bedroom anymore, so polished all the furniture there and then.

Gem, you have a very tight schedule today. I do hope GD makes it to see The Little Mermaid - a couple of hours of escape from reality will do her good, I'm sure. I know she's not generally a huggy girl, but I just want to hug her worries away. xx

Usual Wednesday chaos for us. OH has a friend coming to give him some advice on his kit car in a few minutes. He already has it out on the drive and is tinkering around (that's the technical term!) on it. Then I think it's a boys' fun day doing stuff on it with a couple of other friends. Eva and I will leave them to it when we go to our usual training session this afternoon. Before then I want to finish a job in the garden that's been bugging me for ages.

I hope everyone's day goes to plan.

Oma, our posts crossed. I don't know if you remember the bedside tables in our spare room - that's the stone finish paint I mentioned and it's really easy to apply and dries quickly.

Have a lovely day spoiling Storm.

Oma. this is B&Q's own make, I bought it there last June, it is so easy to apply.

I have been to the circuit, there is place for 12 people, today just the 2 of us so we had private training!!! A lovely young man was our instructor as the man that usually does it is on holiday. The other person I was with it only 63 years old, he was telling me that he has parkinson's disease.

DS 2 is in Germany helping his friend re-roof his house!

                          What a shame Gem.

The weather was good this morning,so i cut the grass.
It was really warm when i had finished.
All i wanted to do after was have a cold drink and then get showered.

Upstairs can wait now until tomorrow.

Lizzie I like that roof picture!

Thanks everyone for kind comments and concern for my GD, and to Lizzie for kind messages this afternoon xx
We really didn't think she would get to this afternoons therapy but she did and it went well. Having tried unsuccessfully to get any form of GP appointment any time soon they have booked an appointment with a private GP tomorrow. It seems their health insurance covers it too, which is a bonus. I'll say more on YEO.
