Only Tuesday after next for your appointment,
How did GDs appointment go have you heard yet .

Im not a lover of cheese unless it’s melted but I do like a little Brie or Philly .

      Plant
More important you get the sun than what the neighbours think ,
I have the Doppler thing every year on my feet with my Diabetic check up to make sure the blood supply is going to my feet ok .

      Nanto
This Salvation Armystore is the first in our area , we didn’t even know it had opened .

Well it’s been a eventful afternoon
B was upstairs changing out of his gardening stuff
Phone went it was the Hospital ringing to confirm his Bone density scan on Sunday ,
I went up the stairs to pass the phone to him got almost to the top and knew no more till I heard B saying my name and asking the Man from the hospital to call back

I clean passed out can’t remember doing it and it was only because B grabbed my arm that stopped me coming down the whole lot
Banged my head on the stairs and my leg on the stairlift .
      Rather sore now .

Where it came from I don’t know ,
Checked my sugar level it was fine , all we could think of was as I went up the stairs my BP maybe dropped
      Anyway I’m fine now .

I made Scones this afternoon B said it was the shock of being in the kitchen , cheeky man 😁

Oma, my goodness, that's scary. Thank goodness you didn't do more damage to yourself. If I didn't know better I'd say take more water with it, but I know you don't drink. And those will be the last scones B will get for quite a while, cheeky chap!

Plant, I'm glad the doctor is doing something about your poorly foot, and I agree with Oma, get your legs out in the sun. You must be so fed up with this psoriasis. xx

Gem, your GS3 is great, nothing seems to bother him, bless him. Not long till the 4 July. I hope they can help.

Lizzie, same here - love most cheeses. I think we've got H&S regulations about using scaffolding over a certain height.

I got the patio swept, but OH has only just started cleaning it. We've got a friend coming for dinner tonight and I can see the patio won't get finished in time. I've also done some gardening, and given downstairs a quick hoover round, so quite pleased with my day. Just off for a shower and then I'll get dinner.

Oma, goodness me, what a fright for B, how fortunate you didn’t damage yourself more. Sounds like a BP drop,

It has been so so hot here today, I have done nothing, watched some tennis (with my feet up). Don’t feel much like dinner.

Goodness Oma, its lucky B was there and able to catch you. I'm glad you weren't more hurt.
Make sure you drink plenty of water in this hot weather.

Baby wasn't keen on his solid food today and seemed little hot to OH and myself. Not sure if it's teething or something else brewing. There is always something going around at nursery. DD will give him some Calpol before bed.

I was just about to write when something came on the news about the missing submersible. Sadly there are no survivers.

Oma glad you were not hurt more than you were.

Only plans for me is to clean upstairs if it's the last thing i do. Didn't get it done yesterday.

Plant,, glad the doctor is looking more into your foot problem.

Jacket potatoes with cheese and tuna mayo for dinner.

                    Good morning ladies.

Such a tragic case, the submersible Nan2.

I had a very bad night, hardly slept at all! GS2 from school today, no plans apart from that.

                    Happy Friday everyone.

                        Morning all

Yesterday I cleaned the windows , only for it to rain later on in the afternoon.
All that hard work for nothing!

Horrible news about those poor people in the submersible . It now seems likely that they were killed instantly because of an implosion.

Gem hopefully your appointment for your knee will get you on the road to a quick recovery

Plant dad had trouble with his legs with swelling, Dr told him to rest with legs up higher than the heat which is no mean feat for someone let's say, not as young as they used to be.
I have just brought a leg rest wedge for my combined swollen feet /restless legs /high blood pressure. I used it for the first time yesterday evening whilst watching TV and i was surprised to see an actual reduction in the swelling of my feet .
I put the wedge on my foot stool,it wasn't higher than my heart but it did elevate it quite a bit

Oma! What are we going on do with you .Good job B was there to catch you

Not much planned to today apart from Tesco delivery this morning
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

                          Good Friday morning, everyone.

It look like being another warm day. We've got a small chance of a shower about tea time, but after Mimi's experience yesterday I'm not even slightly tempted to clean the windows!

Sad news about the submersible imploding. Nothing would ever induce me to go in something like that.

Nanto, say thank you to your little friend for watering the daisy!

Mimi, It's good that something as simple as lying/sitting with your legs higher than your heart can make such a difference. A good reason to be sitting in the shade on a sun lounger with your feet propped up. Add a good book and a cool drink and you're set for the day. xx

Gem, I hope baby is ok today but I think a lot of us don't feel very hungry when it's hot. I'm sorry you had such a bad night - I hope you weren't lying awake worrying about things. Have an easy day until you pick GS2 up this afternoon. Sending hugs. xx

Oma, how are you this morning? I hope you're not stiff and aching after your acrobatics yesterday. Finger crossed MIL is in a good mood today. Does she enjoy going to the hairdressers?

As always the best laid plans in the Daisy household go wrong! We've got all the family here for a barbecue on Sunday and yesterday I asked OH to help me move the garden furniture off so I could sweep all the moss and other debris that seems to collect there. While it was clear he said he'd pressure wash it. But stuff happened to distract him and he only did the little path leading to a small shed. Never mind, he said, he'd do the rest first thing this morning so I could put the furniture back and mow the lawn. Then a friend said could he help him to make a box to contain his Mum's ashes before they went to Austria to scatter them. This morning! So the patio isn't clean and I can't mow the lawn. Goodness knows when it will get done now. I'd planned to spend tomorrow cooking and baking not gardening.

Mimi, where did you get your leg rest, I am finding it difficult to get comfortable. It is only my ankles and foot that swell.

Gemini, So sorry to hear you did not sleep. I expect your GD’s problem is on your mind, together with your worries about your DD1 and GS1. I hope GS2 hasn’t picked up a virus from nursery.

I have an appt with the nurse for a blood test this morning, I have to have a blood test before I have an injection for my bones next week. I have this twice a year. Then I must do some food shopping. N.Trust talk this afternoon.

Oma, I hope you find Mil in a happy mood when you visit her today. Are you drinking enough during this hot weather?

I will pop back later as I must get a shift on.

Daisy, little friend says you're welcome.

Plant, i just googled leg rests. There are many to pick from.
Unfortunately,i don't know which one Mimi has.

I brought this one from Amazon

I will use it more when lay on bed reading or watching TV I don't think sleeping with it would be a good idea as I already sleep with a smaller wedge under my pillow because of hiatus hernia. ( Oh the joys of getting old )
