    Good Friday morning, everyone.

Oh dear, I think our broad band nightmares have given everyone the jitters. I'm so sorry! It surely can't be as bad as the fiasco we're experiencing.

Oma, whatever MIL is on, I hope she keeps taking it. It must be so much nicer visiting her when she's not grumbling about everything.

Plant, I hope H isn't too poorly with chicken pox. I'm sure it's better to get it over and done with now as long as she isn't really poorly with it. My GD2 who is 9 hasn't had it yet. Her sister had it before she was born.

Glamm, enjoy your nanna-cuddles today. I hope they are getting into a routine, and will be grateful for your thoughtfulness. Your new pal is making sure you get your fresh air and exercise. I was talking to a chap at dog training on Wednesday and he was saying he and his wife had booked to do the Beatles Tour for the second time, and he was making a point of going round Port Sunlight again - he loves it. Am I right in thinking that your dear J worked at Unilever?

Gem, you must be pleased you can go and see your Mum again, and with the added pleasure of seeing baby E, I'm sure it will be a happy visit.

Nanto, love the daffs. I've got a couple of bunches as well and they are so cheering.

Mimi, that ear problem must be driving you mad, but thank goodness you have finally got an appointment with a real live doctor. What a frustrating system at your surgery, and what happens to patients who don't have modern tech?

Breaking news on our Broadband - the engineer has just phoned to say he'll be with us in 15 minutes. WHAT A PITY BT STILL HAVEN'T SENT US A MODEM, ETC. OH is now on the phone to them - again!

poor H but better now than later ,
my DD was almost 10 before she got it and my late sister was 16, she was very poorly at the time .
As long as she’s not too poorly it as you know passes quickly although itchy .

      Daisy
it gets better by the day this broadband fiasco 🙄

      Gem
Hope your Mum is well and enjoys seeing baby and DD too.

      Mimi
Hope they can solve the ear problem ,

      Glamm
Enjoy your lunch and I’m sure your GS and family will appreciate the scouse , a meal they don’t have to cook themselves will be a joy 😁

Well B has gotten my cleaning and sorting bug ,
He has just spent the last hour dragging everything out of under the stairs.
He brought the kitchen bin into the sitting room and chucked everything .
I did at one point have to retrieve the net bag I had our cloth masks in as we don’t know if we will need them again so I want to keep them .
It is very tidy for now till he starts shoving things in there again just in case 🙄🤣

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma I am fortunate in not having stairs so no understairs cupboard to put junk in.

The problem with H getting poorly is that it makes childminding a problem and my GD who is off today needed to go food shopping and walk the dog (the dog that belonged to her Mil) My DD was saying to me that GD will just have to get herself more organised and I had to remind her that she didn’t work when she had her children and neither did I. GD works full time, shift hours and her OH only works 4 days but doesn’t get home before 10pm. I used to help my DD quite a lot, she was a very anxious first time mum.

Glamm, enjoy your nana cuddles and your friend’s visit.

Plant, well done for sticking up for your GD. You are right, it is a very different experience being a working mum to little ones. I don't know how they fit it all in really!
Poor little H, I hope she is better soon.

          Enjoy those baby cuddles Glamma.

Daisy, you really couldn't make it up, all those broadband setbacks.

Oma, B isn't Nesting is he??!!

The visit to mum went well. I stayed all afternoon and DD3 and baby stayed an hour or so. She was asleep when I arrived but when she woke up she enjoyed the cream cake I took her, and seeing DD3 and baby when they arrived. The carer took some photos of my mum and baby, which she will print off to show mum.
Mum was incredibly tired when I left, but overall a good visit which made her happy. I appreciate DD3 making the effort both when she was pregnant, and with the baby in tow. I have to say it's more than her sisters do

No Friday school pick ups today, as there was a event at the school for GS2 to go to and DD to be involved in.

Glad you had a good visit with your mum Gem.

Been a bit of a quiet day here.

Oma, if B really has got the sorting/tidying bug, he's welcome to visit our understairs cupboard any day!

Plant, your poor GD, and H's daddy. It's hard being a working Mum of small children. Good for you putting your GD's point of view across.

Gem, What would your Mum do without her lovely cakes! She does enjoy them, doesn't she. I'm so glad the visit went well, and your DD3 is a sweetheart.

Nanto, I'd have willingly swapped your quiet day with my nightmare one.

We have spent all day trying to sort out what a certain internet provider has totally messed up. Even one of their staff called it a shambles. Brief update on the FTTP thread.

                  Looks cloudy here.

3 ports of call today. Farm shop, garden centre and then Asda.
Last time we were at the garden centre,it was a bit chaotic.
Some departments were being moved around. Will be interesting to see it now.
There was a sign up on our last visit saying new butchery was opening.
That might be up and running now. We will be eating at the garden centre.

                  Have a good day ladies.

                    Good morning everyone.

                    Enjoy your shopping day Nan2.

Nothing planned here. After 2 bright sunny mornings it is wet and dull here.
OH fancies hitting a few balls on the golf course ( withdrawal symptoms!) She has asked if I would like to walk round with her. Like is a strong word, but I will do it!
It's been a hectic few weeks and having family here meant even our Covid isolation was busy! A restful day today is welcome.
Mind you we miss the baby already! Having extra cuddles with him at mums yesterday was lovely.

                    Have a good Saturday everyone.

Good Saturday morning, everyone. It's dull and damp here. I could do with getting out into the garden to work off the stress of the last week, but it's a bit too wet at the moment. Ironing doesn't appeal as much, but unfortunately needs doing.

Gem, I'm sure you will enjoy the fresh air on the golf course, and it will make S feel better won't it. Enjoy your restful day - you certainly deserve it.

Nanto, I know you've got a good butcher you use, but having an alternative at the garden centre could be useful - and they may have different goodies on offer.

                        Morning ladies
Its rained all night and we had a shower of hailstones this morning.
Stopped now but very grey and gloomy.

Nanto enjoy your shopping day and lunch out.

A walk will be lovely and you can rest in between shots , have you a little fold up chair you can take , these greens are quite big to walk around ,
Good to hear your Mum was well but I bet she was tired when you left x

                        Daisy
I would send B down but he is currently sorting through the large larder cupboard we have and sorting all his cooking and baking equipment out , I can hear a lot being binned , I don’t interfere with that cupboard it’s his domain 😁

I have a small amount of ironing to do , I’ve gave the downstairs it’s weekend blitz so nothing much to do now ,
DD usually comes on a Saturday morning with the Dog .

Oma, are you getting worried about what B might start on next?

Gemini, what a gorgeous pic of your mum and your GS, his lovely expression looking at her and his lovely rosy cheeks, he looks well now. I sure S will love a stroll around the golf course with you.

Daisy, The sun has just come out here, I hope you have some too. Instead or ironing you could get the paints out or spend some time on your keyboard. Will you ll be hanging out the flags when at last you have a strong broadband signal.

Nanto, Good morning to you. Enjoy your trip to the garden centre

Oma, we had a lot of on off rain yesterday but no hail. You have certainly started B off with sorting out cupboards. I have a lot of baking tins I don’t use and would like to turn out but DD sometimes borrows them when she is cooking for the family. So her cupboards are tidy and mine are full.

I shall be watching some rugby today, not much else. Not sure if H will be here today or if she is too poorly, I know my GD is working half day today. Her childminder said she is happy to have her on Tues as usual as several of her charges have it, that is probably where she picked it up.

Good morning, the sun is out, bitter cold wind though with slight showers, my washing is almost dry outdoors, it is dry on the balcony, luckily.

It was GD2's 14th birthday yesterday, I am eating there this evening. They were in Rotterdam yesterday, shopping, film then a meal!

The friend was here yesterday and got the new TV sorted out and the sound bar connected, you need to be a computer expert now to sort the TV out! After he left I got all the apps etc sorted out, the only thing was I was too tired last night to sit and enjoy it.

Gem you would enjoy your visit to your mum with DD3. I hope you enjoy the walk round the gold course.

Oma, your cupboards will be lovely and tidy after the great sort out.

Nanto, enjoy your visit to the garden centre, I haven't been here for a while, the last time I went it was upside down and being sorted.

I wanted a new table lamp for in the corner, had a look on line then remembered DS1 had one stored in my garage! One of those industrial type, I have borrowed it for the time being.
