A bit misty when we got up at 4.30. Hubby had a cuppa,then went back to bed. I stayed up.

We are going to see DS1 today. Its his birthday tomorrow,so we are going to take his presents.
I think we will walk down,its only about 10 minutes away.
No other plans.

Nothing exciting on the menu, bacon,jerseys and peas and sweetcorn.

Got to go to MILs this morning, not looking forward too it , Bs sister rang yesterday said MIL in a mood and shouting at her all the time , she won’t do that to me she knows I won’t allow it , but she will moan and complain about everything .

Her latest gripe is the man over the road is moving he’s on his own in a 3 bed house ,
What if whoever moves in has kids I can’t cope with that ,
Well it’s a family house so most likely will .
Then it’s I would love to know who’s coming and going in that house on the corner day and night ,

Its no where near her and has nothing to do with her but she’s going to report it to the council .
Bs sister said they won’t take any notice people are entitled to have visitors in their home , and that apparently lit the fuse for her to go on a screaming match with SIL 😖

Oma, whilst B is doing your fence S is making a pagoda for the bottom of the garden! All wood is stained now and pole one is in place. It is a work in progress. Deep breaths before seeing MIL!

I had a nice meal out last night, and the restaurant is very close to a car park which helps! Lovely warm night when we stood chatting and saying goodnight.

Baby E all day today. Nursery seem to think he has hand foot and mouth disease. DD suspected it too. There was already a case at his nursery. You don't have to isolate them unless they are ill. He was bit off it but OK now. Hopefully I wont catch it

Gemini, Pagoda and new fences going up, I will certainly not be joining in. It takes me ages just to keep my garden watered. I hope baby E will not be too poorly with the infection.

I am going to push the cleaner around, bits from the garden keep treading in, don’t know who does it. Later I am going down to GD’s she is using my car to fetch H from childminder so that she can get a space to park her car. I shall spend the rest of the day with her and H.

Good morning. Another hot day here. I usually got one knit and natter on a Thursday but having a break today. It’s far too,hot. DD is bringing my shopping over soon so will have a coffee with her then I’ll potter indoors in the cool. I got all my drawing stuff out the other day as I want to get back into that.

Good luck with your MIL Oma, it’s so difficult isn’t it. Luckily both my parent and in-laws were fin as they got older but I knowmfriends who have had problems. I hope I don’t get like that. So,far so good. 🙂

Good Thursday morning everyone.

We had a good journey up to DS1's last night until we got to 2 junctions before theirs and the M3 was closed. Thank goodness for the sat nav as we hadn't got a clue where we were! OH and DS have gone off on their jaunt, and DIL is on a work conference call, so I've got a minute to say 'hello'.

Well we survived MIL
Went in and first thing she said as we went through the door Was B water them plants out the front and rewind the hose ,
Not could you or please would you .
So he went to do that , I put the kettle on and she said I’ve had words with our U ( Bs sister )
I didn’t let on I knew so I just said oh have you ,
She said it’s got nothing to do with me who those on the corner have in their house , well it has .

I let her rant a while then told her actually U was right and you need to mind your own business.
Laid it on the cards that over the road will get a family in , the corner house can have who the hell they like in as long as it’s not disturbing anyone or causing harm and she will have to suck it up as no one will put up with her crap .

She didn’t like it one bit flounced out the back and gave B a few more jobs .
I then said Drinks done , B came in and she followed , didn’t look happy but I ignored her sulking and by time we came out she was ok .

Said to B his sister needs to stand up to her as she won’t argue with me much because I tell her how horrible she’s being .
But all in all we have had worse visits 😁
