    Good morning ladies!

Not sure if we have thunderstorms forecast Nan2 I haven't checked. The washing is on the line so I will keep an eye on it.

Oma I had to have a shower before bed last night as well as my morning one. Like you I felt so hot and sticky.
I got an appointment for my bone density scan yesterday, I think it's just before we go on holiday.

I hope you all have a lovely day Daisy.

That sounds like a fun day ahead Plant. I hope it's not too hot.

I was up feeding and changing baby at 3am. He's so cute and funny even in the early hours! I could hear him coughing over the baby monitor but he's happy enough. He woke around 7.30 this morning. He's having his morning nap now.
DD and SIL will come for him later. Golf for OH. Feet up for Grandma

Good morning, what a carry on I have had, I was awake early and got the plants on the balcony watered, I was going in the shower before the gym, opening a drawer in my bedroom a cat flew past me!!! At first I thought I was imagining things then saw is again in the room, lost it and it flew back under my bed! I managed to get it into the room with the hall door closed and the front door open, luckily it escaped that way, not before leaving me a smell to cope with1

It is our neighbours, I have heard something a few times during the nights on the roof and thought it was a bird of prey, no, it was the cat, how it gets up there we haven't figured out as yet! A neighbour was walking his dog early and he said the crows were going wild up on the roof so they must have made the cat panic and it ended up on the wrong balcony. The neighbour is schitsofrenic, very difficult to get in touch with her, she talks to me but won't open the door so I will have to wait until she passes.

Fast forward, I managed to get to the neighbour, she knew the cat was missing!!!!! No sorry or anything, just laughed!!!

        O Lizzie
The poor cat must have been terrified being trapped in a strange room , besides the shock you must have gotten ,
Glad you managed to get it out without too much drama 😁🐈‍⬛

        Daisy
hope your day is going well it’s 27 here so hot to hot to do anything outside for me anyway.

        Gem
At least baby didn’t get up too many times during the night , but you forgive every broken moments sleep when they look at you don’t you ❤️

        Plant
I hope you keep far enough away from the horses so it doesn’t set your allergies off.
        Definitely need some shade today.

As it was too hot to go in the garden I cleaned all the inside shelves in my kitchen and kitchen drawers .
The lower ones I just sat on the floor and bum shuffled from cupboard to cupboard pulling a bucket and cloths with me ,
Much easier than getting up and down .
Getting up from the floor was another thing though ,
As we have our old armchairs in the dinning room bit till they go Tuesday I managed to shuffle over to them and haul myself up onto one 😁

Sorted through packs and jars see if any out of date surprisingly there wasn’t ,
I remembered it wasn’t long ago I had gone through them so none today.

I threw lots of Tea towels out that were a bit past their best

B sorted the big freezer out just the spare one to sort it’s small so not much in

My washing and Bedding dried in no time , it’s forecast rain so I will wait to see what happens before I decide on watering the pots and boarders .

Forgot to say I re potted my Jasmin and it’s producing flower buds so I’m glad I didn’t give up on it 😁

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, I think the cat has been in here since Friday, I heard a cat and that must have been it, the rug in here smells awful, I have done all I can but still smells. I am going to phone the housing in the morning and let them sort it out.

I have had a really good box from the Lidl across from here, lovely fresh fruit and veg, it isn't easy to get one at the moment so I was lucky on that, oh, and I have sold a plant, the couple have just been for it.

Thanks Oma, it is out in the sun now with baking soda on etc etc. My gym ball was used as a scratch pole!!!

The plant is a Crassula gollum.

Gosh Lizzie, the cat saga was a shock for all concerned!

DD and SIL arrived just as baby was waking from his nap. They stayed a while and we sat in the garden and he ate his lunch out there. He is eating more but still wanting soft liquid type foods, so we are sure it must be his teeth, with the hot weather not helping.

Half an hour ago we had a torrential downpour. I rushed around closing doors and the big windows. I hope OH was in the clubhouse by then It's windy and cloudy now, but warm. I think we are in for more rain.

Plant, yes Sheffield was hot and busy, but it made a change.

Oma, i don't use the oven much now, with having air fryer, microwave and slow cooker.
Now and again i use the hob if i need fried eggs.
Glad your jasmine is sending buds out.

We haven't had the predicted thunderstorms or any rain, but its clouded over a bit and it felt cooler outside.

Lizzie your plant looks very healthy.

We had a lovely day today. It was hot but we had plenty of shade - until it got too windy and we had to close the parasol over the garden furniture. But by then we had eaten and the barbecue was cooling down. We've had a lovely day, and I hope DS1 has enjoyed it. Every birthday is such a blessing. I'm just listening to Galstonbury and Elton John playing a tribute to George Michael who would have been 60 today. It is quite emotional.

I'll catch up tomorrow. Sleep well everyone - I hope the heat and/or storms don't disturb you tonight.

Good morning. Breezy this morning and a bit cooler.

Daisy, pleased you all had a lovely day yesterday.

No plans today apart from changing the bedding and getting it washed and out for a blow.

Dinner is the rest of the beef from yesterday with chips and beans. Chips already prepared. 😋

                        Nanto
Nice when you have left overs you can use for a quick meal the next day isn’t it .

GS coming for his breakfast before he goes to work ,
He rang his old boss in the Metro centre last week and asked if he could go back until he goes to Uni they said yes straight away so he started on Friday ,
Some long hours some short but now he has a car that’s not a problem for him .

We had a down pour last night but nothing like it was predicted.
Its a nice day here cooler than yesterday but nicer to work in

Good morning Nan2, Oma and everyone else.

Daisy, I am really looking forward watching the Glastonbury footage. We recorded it last night. I love Elton. I have bought myself an A3 size poster of his UK farewell concert. Just need to get a frame now.

We have just dropped my car off for a service. We wore sunglasses there and drove home through driving rain, so it's going to be one those sort of days!
Library meeting this morning. OH is dropping me off but can't pick me up as she forgot and made other plans
A friend is going to kindly pick me up afterwards as I will have last minute tombola donations to bring home and store until the carnival in July. I will buy her a coffee in the library cafe to thank her.

Good Monday morning, everyone. Warm and sunny here, but there is a breeze to help keep us cool.

Oma, your GS is a hard-working lad, and I bet his boss at the Metro Centre was delighted to have him back for the summer. Hopefully everything feels fresher after the downpour.

Nanto, we've got leftovers after yesterday as well. I won't need to cook at all today!

I need to get some washing done, but apart from tidying up after yesterday, I've got nothing planned. I got up toto late to take Eva out this morning, so I'll take her this evening when it cools down a bit.

Sunny again, not sure what is forecast. We had a lovely day at the Horse Show, unfortunately GD’s OH didn’t leave us the pushchair, he thought GD had it, so that meant a lot of walking and carrying for H. We didn’t see much of GD she was busy with the horses. They had a good turn out so will have raised a lot of money for the charity. I am at the village hall for lunch later and then a trip down to M&S Foodhall for something for lunch tomorrow, I have a very old friend coming for lunch, we pushed prams together.

Oma, pleased to hear GS has been offered a job, is he coming for breakfast every day. You do spoil him, I don’t spoil my GS’s at all! (Liar, liar, pants on fire)

Lizzie, what a to do you had with that unwanted visitor. The cat must have been very frightened.

Daisy, I am sure everyone had a lovely time and were well fed.

Gemini, it does sound as if it is teeth coming that is unsettling the babe.

                                Good Morning ladies,
Everything OK on the BB signal here most of the area where having problems for some reason but all seems back to normal.

Twice I put out bedding to dry and had to run out and bring it back in after thunderstoms and rain it came down in sheets (pardon the pun) got it dried in the end just got to iron it all this afternoon I'll do it whilst I watch TV.

I watched Glastonbury on and off over the week-end I am not a fan of Elton John and from what I saw of him he looked quite poorly.
Daisy there where shots of Fort Perch Rock on the back of set showing a couple sunbathing they are apparently the parents of one of EJ's band taken yrs ago.EJ's dad worked at Port Sunlight with my John he worked there for years John said he was such a quiet man very private and never mixed with the other men.

Enjoy the rest of the day bye for now x
