Plant, the tip run will wait.

Glamma, what a shock for your friend. I'm sure she was glad of your support.
New babies make everything better though, 6 weeks already!

I'm off to colour my hair now.

Glamma, sad news about your neighbours sister.

Well, i have finally done the second freezer. Defrosted and cleaned and tidy.
I've been threatening it long enough.

Had a bit of sunshine and a couple of light showers.

Nan2, our outside freezer ( well it's not outside it's in a shed!) Needs defrosting and we keep putting it off.

I did the run to the tip but apart from pushing stuff in the washing machine, not much else. I will clean through tomorrow so it is clean for me to come back to.

Glamm, your DDs outfit for Aintree sounds very attractive. I hope your son has an enjoyable holiday and gets offered some accommodation when he gets back.

I'm late to the party today! It's cold and has been raining off and on - if it was warmer it would be like April showers.

Nanto, at least Tweety Pie won't be keeping one eye on that sirloin steak, unlike Oma's Storm and our Eva!

Gem, it sounds as though the gold course will be pretty wet today. I hope s has been able to play. How is your back today?

Plant, I agree with Gem, the tip run can wait. Concentrate on getting ready for your holiday, and keeping your fingers crossed for some sunshine.

Glam, what an awful shock for your neighbour. It was kind of you to stay with her until family arrived to look after her. I can imagine how upset everyone is about Paul O'Grady - he was a local boy, wasn't he. Your DS must be longing for his own space. It was lovely of your DD to offer him a home, but now he's had time to recover a bit from all the turmoil I'm sure he just wants a home for him and his little girl.

Oh dear, it must be the season for cleaning freezers. Ours need doing again - it doesn't seem 5 minutes since I did them, but with a dog food delivery due on Saturday, I need to tidy up to get everything in.

OH and I went to collect new glasses this morning, and OH realised he needed two pairs - one to keep in the car and one for the house for watching tv etc. There was a half-price deal, so he was lucky. we've decided to give the GCs money for Easter, rather than eggs/chocolate, so I got money wallets, a Golden Wedding Anniversary card for some friends and Ester cards for OH's brothers and sisters.

I also treated myself to a new iron! Mine broke during the first lockdown and I bought one online which has been an absolute pain - it's heavy, the steam function only works under a random set of circumstances which I've never fathomed out (perhaps I should have kept the instructions) and you can't see the level of water in the chamber. Oh, and the sole plate non-stick surface came off very quickly. So hopefully huge ironing piles will now become a thing of the past!

While we were out the window cleaner came, and I can see that the grime and marks are on the inside. Another job to be done!

Oma, what a shock! Thank goodness it wasn't a heart attack, but far too scary nevertheless. I wonder if this is what's been causing your breathlessness. I'm glad they're looking after you well, and wouldn't let you walk to the Cardiac Unit.

Just behave yourself - no sneaking out of bed in the night to dust the skirting boards, or anything silly like that. Poor B must have had a fright as well.

Lots of love to you and B - get well soon. xxxx

Oh Oma, how scary that must have been.
You are in the right place now at least and they will sort you out.
My nanna had angina and was put on tablets for it.
Sending lots of love and hoping you are home soon. xxx

Oma, I have just read this, I do hope that they soon get you sorted!!! As Daisy said, don't get up and clean the wards in the middle of the night.!!!xxx

I have just had a box from a supermarket in the village, well, 2 boxes in fact, it is a good thing I have the girls here from tomorrow! Then I shared it with my friend next door and she treated me to one of her grilled chicken legs!

I went on the bike to Delft early for cheese etc then got the shelf? made for the TV, I even got it placed in the cupboard myself.

Oma, just read your post saying you are in hospital, I am so sorry to hear that. I hope you just rest and do as you are told. It must have been very frightening for you and B.

Hospital appointment this afternoon for a smear test. Don't know why, but i will ask.
Got the appointment 2 weeks ago, came out of the blue.
I always attend for my gynae appointments and my next one is in August.

Oma, hope the tests are going ok.

Not sure what is for dinner, haven't made my mind up yet.

                                Morning Nanto/ ladies

Nanto may be a routine one if you haven’t been for a while ,
Hope it all goes quickly and no hanging around ,

I can come home with spray for under my tongue , Aspirin and beta blockers but have to go back for Angiogram in the next week or so , gave me option of staying in Hospital but can’t guarantee I would get it anytime soon or coming home and wait for appointment , Dr said I could be sitting there till Tuesday or longer .
Opted for coming home , they were ok about that as long as I use the spray if needed and if that doesn’t work in 20 minutes to ring 999
Im very tired but doing ok .
When I told the Dr I had spoken to my Dr on Tuesday and he had sent out a Inhaler he was shocked ,
                                Considering my symptoms.
I did say in all fairness I had asked Dr if it could be my Asthma back .
Hospital Dr said my Dr should have at least done a breath test in person and the jaw pain should have been a red flag .
never mind I’m ok for now and if I need stents or any other meds it will be sorted that’s what matters
