    Good Tuesday morning (just!)

It was an early start for me to co and collect Cooper before their new washing machine arrives. They have a 12-hour time slot!!! But setting it all up will be easier if Cooper isn't there helping in this own individual way! I was there before GD2 had left for school, so able to have a chat and a hug (she's a great hugger!). She was so excited because she had just got to the top of the leader board for their online tables game. She is 0.04 seconds ahead of her best friend!

I'll catch up with everyone's news as soon as I can.

OH's eye is quite good this morning - thank you to those who were wondering how he was. He's very grateful for your concern. I'm just off to put some more gel into it in a minute, and he's having a lazy day.

    Back later. xx

Hi everyone, it's quiet at the library, I've done my jobs so I am having a coffee break until there is anything else to do. There is always chatting to customers

Oma, DD1 also took GD1 to baby cinema a few times when he was a baby. They are films, once a week where parents or carers can take babies up to one. As you can imagine it's not that quiet and parents miss bits of the film! It's a way for mum's to at least get out and do something a bit social in the early weeks and months.
It would be wonderful if there was something to help with your tremors.

Plant I will only see oldest and youngest GC today, the other 2 on Friday.
Even my GD who we have all considered an angel child from birth up to the present, had a few Terrible Two episodes. I feel for your GD, it is upsetting.

      Back to work!

Hallo everyone, I have had a busy day! I went on the bike to Delft to return the high boots, I had a month to do it but decided I would take them, it was very windy, I certainly had to use my legs! I did fly home though! I met a neighbour, his wife swims with me, they are originally from Persia and have lived here 27 years now, he is very handy and has a garage opposite, I often see him repairing cycles, I knew the chain was loose on mine so I asked if he would have a look, I took it to his garage and he brought it back, what a difference! It really needed oiling and adjusting, I was really pleased he had done it. He said if I can miss it a few hours he will completely service it for me.

Whilst he was doing it I decided to sand and oil the kitchen tops, they are like new again.

Plant, children can have tantrums at times. In fact, we all can.!

Gem, you would enjoy helping at the new library.

Oma, as I said, it is very windy here, cold with it. I hope they can give you something for your tremors. Will you have to take more medicine for the BP?

Oma, hope all goes well at the appointment tomorrow.

Had a lovely couple of hours with SISin law, down at their house.

Lizzie, handy having someone to service your bike!
I really enjoy being at the library, I love my Tuesday mornings.

Nan2, it's lovely to get on well with family like that.

DD3 and baby arrived just after I got in and stayed until SIL picked them up on his way home from work. GS1 got to watch GS3 having his bath, which both enjoyed

Gem, glad you are enjoying your time at the library.

              Its certainly wild here.
If anybody puts their bins out tonight, ready for tomorrow, they will blow over and the street will be littered.
We usually put ours out the night before, but we are leaving till the morning.

Still very windy, but i don't think its as wild as last night.

Hope it doesn'y blow the bin over before it gets emptied.

                  No plans for today.

Dinner will be bacon, sausage, onion rings and thin fries, with mushy peas.

                    Good morning ladies.

Nan2, I'm not sure the wind had dropped here, if so only slightly.

Aquafit this morning, friends C and P coming this afternoon. My cold has gone and C feels fine with coming. I'm going to antibac everything though and get OH to make the coffees!

                    Have a good day everyone.

Good morning, it is still blowing here. Gem, enjoy the aqua.

I want to do some shopping before my class, I went to the Lidl early for jeans, I like their jeans especially when out on the bike. I had to go early as they don't get many in.

DS1 is in Scotland this week, first Glasgow then onto Aberdeen.

Nanto, I hope your bin didn't get blown over. The sun is coming through here now. At least the days are getting longer!

GD and GS2 are at home due to the teachers strike. GS1 is unimpressed that his school is unaffected!

DD and DIL3 are both coming here today to escape the builders as SIL has holiday from work. They will all go out when C and P are here though. C loves babies and they are such little kissy germ spreaders

                            Good Wednesday morning everyone.

Jack Frost is back! We woke up to white this morning, but the sun's out now and I hope it will warm up a bit. It's definitely too cold to share an ice cream with your little graphic friend, Nanto! Your dinner sounds more like it as a winter warmer.

Lizzie, can you buy jeans without trying them on, or are they the same as you had before? How kind of your neighbour to service your bike.

Gem, I meant to check if our GDs' schools were open or not. Poor GS1 (from his point of view!). I'm glad your cold is better and I'm sure C and P will enjoy seeing you both. I've never heard of baby cinema, but I can imagine how relaxed it would be and you wouldn't feel awful if your little one made a noise.

Oma, I hope the doctor can change your meds to control your BP better. It would be brilliant if there was something to help with the tremors as well. I know time flies, but it doesn't seem long since you had new sofas etc? Still, it's nice to have a change and I'm sure you will find something you like. Time plays tricks on you doesn't it, but I know you still miss your sister. xx

Plant, I hope you slept well despite the family being away. Little H is definitely growing up, but she's such a sunny natured little girl I'm sure she will handle the terrible two's. It must be so frustrating for them when they are overwhelmed with emotions they can't control, and equally hard on the adults in their lives. I hope your GD is ok - it's a lot to cope with, a toddler, a new job and then losing the dog in the woods. The dog was probably more frightened than GD by the sound of it.

Glamm, I'm glad that sunshine has helped to cheer you up a bit. Oliver has got you and Jim well trained to look after his every need. Clever kitty.

OH's eye is feeling much better this morning, but he's said he won't go to a meeting arranged for tonight. The cold air doesn't help it at all. Dog training for me today, and a few odd jobs to get done this morning.

Slept really well last night, I didn’t wake up until 9.45 to a lovely sunny morning. Games this afternoon so no rush. Both GD and her OH are off again today so they are taking H to a play place, she has been with the childminder twice this week so today is her day out.

Gemini, have a lovely time with C&P, I hope all will go well with C. Not sure if the teachers are on strike here, I can understand your GS1 was annoyed his cousins were having a day off.

Daisy, will your caravan be serviced at your house or do they take it away.

GD1 has just phoned to ask if I wanted to go with them to the soft play place but I have the games session later. It is very kind of her to keep an eye on me, haven’t heard from the others.

Glamm, I hope you are feeling a bit brighter.
