OH had a positive test this morning. This is no surprise as she is more ill than I am or was. The others haven't tested since DD3's negative result last week, but we are sure we all have it.
DD3 has gone to the house for more clothes and to check on the cat. They are undecided about bringing her here. She may be less stressed at home and DD2 tells us we are being overcautious and she will be fine with warm bedding etc!

Busy day for you yesterday Plant, nice to come home to soup!

Oh dear Oma, thank goodness you already had an appointment!

A pity about the rain Daisy, I know you would prefer to be gardening rather than ironing!

Good morning, I have just got home from the class, it is drizzly today.

Oma, I would be like you, how many times I have got things ready to take to the charity shop then I decide to keep them! I hope that your tooth can be repaired and that your MIL is in a good mood.

Daisy if you and the dog enjoy the classes, just keep going! The wool is mustard tweed. We have the same weather as you today.

Well MIL was in a good mood again , lots of jobs for us and I had to go to Morrisons as they had over charged her for some books but to be fair she was quite pleasant again.

Took my stuff to the charity shop and almost cried when I came out but they are gone 😢😁

Its cold here in the north but no rain thankfully.

The sun is shining. Got the bedding on the line, its blowing nicely in the breeze.
Bedrooms and bathroom cleaned.
Downstairs tidied,dusted and hoovered.

Oma, so pleased your Mil was pleasant, perhaps she has got the message. Hope he tooth can be saved. I am not good at getting rid of things but it has to be faced eventually.

Gemini, You are all poorly people, the latest infection seems to be more like an unpleasant feverish cold. Hope you will all be better soon. I am sure the cat will be fine but the sooner they can get back into their house the better.

I am taking it a bit easier today after my busy day yesterday, just got some little jobs done and some correspondence Dinner is prawn stir fry so that is an easy dinner.

Lizzie, it's been a miserable day weatherwise hasn't it! The cowl sounds a lovely warm colour. I love to see mustard on some people, but I can't wear it - it looks awful on me. Are you knitting it on circular needles?

I managed to avoid the ironing! And the washing. In fact I managed to avoid most things today. OH was going out tonight so I made dinner fairly early. I've just done the Sainsburys order, and portioned up 4 kg of dog food. The rain had stopped this afternoon and when I took Eva out it was quite mild.

Tomorrow morning we have our usual Friday madness - bins, Sainsburys and for one day only! someone coming to service the caravan. DIL1 will be in the area so she's coming for lunch. I'm just very relieved that we're not affected by the water supply problems nearby.

Well done avoiding the ironing Daisy!

The cat was left where she was! DD spent some time with her and made more cosy spaces for her. Their next door neighbour, a fellow cat lover, is going to look in on her too.
If the boiler can be fixed tomorrow then DD, SIL and baby will go home for the weekend, if not they will stay here.
DD was talking about seeing if they could go to her dad's for the weekend to give us space, until I reminded her that they have Covid so can't go giving it to even more family
Baby very happy , smiley and back to his normal self now apart from the nappies.
OH still not right but lots better. DD and SIL treated us to fish and chips tonight which she ate and enjoyed.

Off to Dentist for 9.15 then back to ring boiler man we have no heating or hot water , it made a strange clunking and grinding noise last night got up this morning and nothing ,

Nan2 those teeth can be a pain coming through can't they? GS3 has 3 bottom teeth but none at the top yet!

VERY blustery here, it's due to last all morning.
SIL has Friday's off and is going over to the house to see the builders, and maybe get a finishing date from them!
GD and GS2 are not coming today due to the Covid. They were probably infected when they were here last weekend but DD2 thinks we could do with a rest anyway.

I am going to spend the day with GD1 and H. We will go to J.Lewis for lunch then go to a soft play place for under 5’s. GD uses my car for these trips so that she can keep her parking place where they live. DD and Sil have an appt With the Dogs for the Blind organisation as they are interested in having a puppy. I don’t know if they will be able to as they have 7 holidays booked this year, some only 3 days but someone has to step in to have the puppy whilst they are away.

Gemini, sensible DD, you have enough in your going on in your life atm.. Pleased a decision has been made about the cat. I hope you will all be clear of the nasty virus soon.

Oma, hope the dental appt goes well and they are able to fix your tooth. I wonder what made that noise from your boiler, hope it can be fixed.

Dentist decided I need a root filling so made another appointment for 9th March so just won’t smile till then ,
Going to try that if it still comes away I will need a crown so just wait and see .

I am still showing a strong positive line on my Covid test this morning. I won't do another until I need to go anywhere.
It's the AGM of the library Friends group next Thursday. I will email to let them know and that I may not be clear in time for the meeting. Then they can decide whether to go ahead with someone else taking the minutes or reschedule.
