DD and baby are on their way home now.
Henry is back from the vet with antibiotic and anti inflammatory injections done. It may just be his kidneys, which won't be a good state we know. If so there is nothing to be done. He may have a little infection somewhere though, hence the treatment. It is 4 day course of both so we shall see how he goes. The vet says he is in no pain and still has the spark of life, he hasn't given up yet, So, we know he cant last an awful lot longer, but if he can have bit more quality time it is what we want and the vet is happy with that.

Just as i predicted,nothing much happened here today.
I washed a load of towels,don't know where they all come from.
You'd think 22 lived here not just 2. The did dry lovely in the beeze.
I pottered,doing little odd jobs around the house.

Oma, glad you enjoyed yesterday.

Gem, i'm sure Henry will be happy,however long he's got.

Nanto, I'm glad your chickens are still smiling at me! I often wonder where all the washing comes from. I'm sure it multiplies in the laundry basket.

Gem, It's so hard trying to decide when your dearly loved pet has had enough, but it sounds as though Henry is still enjoying a good quality of life and that is all any of us pet lovers ask, isn't it.

Plant, how lovely to get out into the garden and to be able to see results for your hard work. I hope WG is ok, as well.

Oma, sorry I missed your comment about the sunset - it sounds wonderful.

I will probably be off line tomorrow. The engineers are due at 8 o'clock and when they've done the installation they set up one device. We've decided it will be OH's laptop, but hopefully my computer won't be too difficult for me and DS1 to connect up later.

Nan2, I know what you mean about all the washing for just two in the house. Mind you, with DD3 bringing their washing here at the moment, and all the extra towels generated by two extra adults and a baby in the house the washing is at mega dimensions!

Henry ate food left down for him last night so it looks promising.
DD3 won't be here today as the builder's wont be at their house. I have library duty this morning. OH plans to meet me there for lunch. GS1 from school as usual then staying overnight as it is DD1's op today.

I was going to do pancakes and stew today,but we have ½ a pie left from yesterday.
Going to use that up with mash and veggies.
I always make my own pancakes and keep them in the freezer. We can have some anytime.
We never have them with different toppings.

Got a load of darks in the wash.Making the best of the sunshine.

We eat pancakes whenever we fancy them also ,
We always have some in the freezer.

We didn’t get out as planned yesterday so going this morning , no rush though as we also need to go to bank and they don’t open till 9.30.

When GS came yesterday we put on some CDs of when he was in school plays in the infants and juniors ,
He was in fits of laughter seeing himself as a toddler , jumping around and waving this skinny little person full of smiles ,
First play was when he was only 4 he was so cute 🥰
Then we looked through his photos from birth and I got his first Prem hat out it fit on a small apple 😁 now look at him 😱😁

Good morning everyone, dull this morning but not the cold wind that we have had the last few days. I was ill yesterday from the allergy (medicine) I was in bed at 5pm and slept to 6am, I do feel better now but no medicine. Gem, it is late for me to be affected, it is usually at the beginning of January, I was hoping I had missed it, but no! Good news about the cat Gem.

Daisy, when the cable was fitted here everything went automatically, I didn't have to change anything.

Just read your message Oma, I heard on the radio this morning that it is pancake day. The children do soon grow, GD1 is 6ft now, luckily she has stopped growing! GD2 seems to be shooting up as well.

Nan2, like cheese, pancakes are something I have never thought to freeze! OH Is the pancake queen in our house. As we have GS tonight she will definitely make some.

Lizzie allergies are a pain

Oma , OH is up to golf now and was looking forward to it. Despite it being outdoors and under current NHS guildlines she is free to play, her partner wasn't happy with the idea! So I will buy her lunch here in the cafe instead.

Henry was tucking into chicken when I left this morning.
DD1's procedure is this afternoon, I saw her this morning when she dropped GS's things off. She can have a relaxing evening as GS will be with us tonight.

The washing dried lovely today,haven't ironed them. That will be a job for morning.
After dinner,we popped up to Farmfoods,i needed to stock up on frozen veg and ice cream.
Carte Dor ice cream was £5 for two.

Oma, lovely visit, I saw the photo

School run for GS1 then Aqua this morning. Coffee with my friend then on to DD1's to see how she is and drop off GD's things and her birthday present for Friday.
DD3 and baby coming today. DD and SIL are going out tonight . They have a cinema voucher about to expire so will have an early tea out first ( with a different voucher!)
We will look after the baby and put him to bed. They will all stay here tonight.

Good morning, dull here at the moment, I have been to the gym , circuit at 10-45 then out to lunch with the couple from the pool, he is busy searching for a TV for me!!! He is going to fix it up for me, when I decide!

I have just ordered a winter jacket, don't tell anyone else!!!! I have a grey one, a Schmuddelwedde, it is the best jacket I have ever had when out on the bike, it is light weight, very warm, waterproof and doesn't catch on the bike seat, in fact it is perfect. I have been keeping an eye on the site and yesterday on offer in my size so I have ordered it, I hope it is the same model as the one I have, it looks the same.

Oma, I saw the film, Finn is lovely, I bet he is spoilt by everyone!
