Went out for tea and he played happily in his pram before falling asleep.

hallo, I am home from the hospital , being well cared for by GD1, it won't be long before I go to my bed though. The op went well, we hope, only I couldn't pass water , however hard I tried it wouldn't come, so, I now have a catheter and have to go back on Tuesday morning to have it removed before having bladder tests etc. The doctor that performed the op came into the ward to see all his patients, he must have been in 4 or 5 times, I was the only one left, the nurses were busy with the catheter and he came and assured me it would be fine, this often happens the first few days. I hope he is right.

I will catch up on the news tomorrow.

DS1 picked me up in at the hospital and drove through the town on the way home, a mistake, they are trying to make is a pedestrian area, the traffic lights prove that, one car at a time!!!!

Good to know it is over and you are home.
Don't worry, I'm sure as the Dr says that is perfectly normal and all will be working soon xx

Hello everyone. It seems the campsite is back online!
I will have a lot of catching up to do when we get home. We have had a lovely but very busy time . The campsite is good and the weather has been good in parts. We are going home on Sunday. I can’t say I’m looking forward to the journey but hopefully the traffic won’t be too bad.

A chilly Saturday morning here. I wonder if it will become a lovely day like yesterday?

I woke before GS2, always a good result GD will be 13 in a couple of weeks. She will be in bed for some time yet!

GC are leaving late morning I think. OH and I are dropping a birthday card off to a friend this afternoon. Not sure if she will be in.
It's birthday time here. One friend today, another tomorrow, my mum on Monday.

Good morning, I slept well thanks Gem, my nurse is still asleep!! I am sore where the catheter is but the nurse told me I would be, I hope they can remove it on Tuesday, I have just found a pair of jeans with wider legs for when the catheter is full! The forecast for Tuesday is cold and wet so it won't be handy in a skirt.

Daisy, maybe the traffic won't be bad on a Sunday.

It is cold and damp at the moment, I wasn't planning on doing anything though. Maybe planning but plans cancelled.

We wanted to get the patio chairs cleaned and put away today so we brought them indoors last night, Just as well we did it’s dark and raining again here .

Up very early so my weekend blitz of downstairs done, Beds stripped and second lot in washer first lot in tumble,
I have some ironing I didn’t get done yesterday but not a lot, I will do that later,

Went to our small Morrisons for a few things, The shelves are bare, didn’t get what I wanted but bought stuff I didn’t go for typical isn’t it 🙄

Hello ladies.

Daisy have a safe journey home.

It’s been a lovely sunny day here ,quite warm in a sheltered spot. I went for a walk and then prepared loads of apples from my tree. I don’t know what variety it is because it was grown from a pip I planted with my DS1 when he was 3 years old. He is now 53! This year the tree has excelled ,loads of apples but eating apple size so a bit of a chore to peel. They aren’t sweet enough without cooking.

This is afternoon I pruned a large bay tree. The smell was lovely.

Hubby pulled the last of the rhubarb today.

DS2 and his fiancee are coming for dinner tomorrow, so rhubarb crumble will be dessert.

We didn't get the gardening done,while we were at the supermarket the heavens opened.
Hopefully we will get it done tomorrow.
