    Good Wednesday morning everyone.

Nanto, what a lovely graphic, and you are an early bird this morning. Enjoy your steak tonight.

Gem, I'm glad to hear you are slowly getting better, but don't be tempted to overdo things (what a nag, aren't I!).

Oma, how is B this morning? And your niece?

Missy arrived about 8 am. Eva was overjoyed to have a playmate for the day, but they are both asleep now! The wind's getting up again here, but I'll try and get the hydrangeas pruned this morning - I only did one yesterday - before dog training this afternoon. OH has to go out as well, so I'll take Missy with me. She's very good in the car and she and Eva travel well together.

Oma, and Plant, we all posted together!

Oma, I hope you haven't caught the cold as well. Yes, the water was very bubbly. Eva didn't seem to mind and she came up nice and clean.

Plant, do you have a bit of a rush getting from one to the other of today's activities? I hope there's time for lunch! Have a lovely day.

Good morning everyone, the sun is out and luckily a little warmer than yesterday, it was a bitter cold wind all day!

I have been to book my car in for the MOT, I stopped at the station and hoovered it out on the way, with only me it doesn't get bad inside, when I used to pick the girls up from school, in the middle of a building site, I could hoover a bag of sand out every week.

Daisy, your car boot will be a lot like that! I saw a posting on FB of the New forest, did you take the photo's? Lovely.

Gem, your DD will be pleased when the divorce etc is all settled, I told you about my friends son in law having a double life, a wife and 3 girls here and a woman with twins in Germany! They are almost divorced now and have got most things settled, the daughter has bought a house in the area as they want to share the parenting.

I have just seen the time, got to be on my way again, circuit soon.

            Good morning everyone.

I'm glad you had a lovely night Nan2, and I hope today is a good day too!

The sun is shining for my mum's funeral day and there is no chance of rain. It always makes things easier. The limousine is coming here at 10.30 to take the family to the crematorium. The funeral is at 11.20 , then to the hotel.

I will be here later today to catch up.

Gemini, I will be thinking of you and the family today.

Nanto, pleased you and the family enjoyed your steak night.

Daisy, I have 2 hours between WI and the games afternoon and they are both in the village

When I was driving around the village yesterday, I saw they were filming in one of our local pubs. It was for an episode of Midsummer Murders, they often film in the village for that programme. The lady who cleaned my kitchen after the decorator, is coming this morning to help me in the garden for two hours. I hope it stays fine.

                      Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Gem, you will be in my thoughts today, together with S and your DDs. It's never an easy day, but I hope there is some comfort for you in knowing you have carried out your Mum's wishes. Thank goodness it's sunny - it does help. xxx

Glam, you are making the most of the sun, today. Don't overdo it.

Oma, Oh dear, I hope the snuffles don't develop into a full-blown cold. I hope MIL is in a good mood.

Plant, it's always interesting to see a film crew in your local area, isn't it. I wonder when the episode will be shown.

We're off to do some shopping - mainly garden centre stuff.

Nanto, so glad you enjoyed last night. Have a good day today. xx

I just forgot with the update of Jim next door Daisy after speaking to his niece yesterday she informed me she is trying to talk him into going into a care home for a few weeks respite as he has developed pressure sores on his rear with staying in bed the carers are not moving him into a chair when they visit just giving him his medication and leaving so he is in a sorry state poor man,we will have to see what his health visitor says when she visits.

Thank you for your kind wishes everyone.

The funeral was a good as a funeral could be. The sun shone throughout, and is still shining here. The service was lovely, and the afternoon tea/lunch at the hotel was just what my mum would have wanted. She would have been very happy with everything. Her coffin looked so tiny standing there, with the beautiful spray of red roses and gypsophila, like her wedding bouquet. That brought us to tears.

We feel tired now, it's been an emotional week!

Glamma, my mum had developed pressure sores before she went into the care home. We had no idea. The district nurse came every day to tend and dress them once she was in the home and they soon healed.
