Hairdresser was a bit late this morning,which is unusual for her.
She got held up with a job for one of her customers.

Been an easy day for me.Just done a bit of tidying up and been pottering.

I did go to the tip, it is a few miles to drive, I have a choice of three but they are all about the same distance. I had a phone call from GD1 who was at work with the Horses Trust asking me if I wanted to go with her OH and H to visit as it was their first open day. We had a good visit, saw lots of famous horses, but H wasn’t too well I felt. We saw GD they were putting all the horses from the stables so that the public could see them and returning them to the fields. I am slightly allergic to horses and kept well away but I still have an enflamed eye, breathing okay. I must remember to get some antihistamine tablets.

Goodness Oma, had the floor wet, very bad if it was, that sounded like a nasty fall.

Do any of you ladies have a Gails bread and cafe near you. I called into our local one today for a coffee and a scone, they were very nice but the tables were not being cleared and they had not been washed properly. I mentioned it to a member of staff and they just nodded. I looked at their website and it was full of similar complaints. Shame as their food is good.

I've explained about my day on Science and Technology. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry!

I'm just boing to make dinner but will try to get back here later this evening after I've done my Sainsbury order for tomorrow morning.

I've been to the tip too! Cleared all the old paintpots from the shed and got rid of some other bits and pieces as well. The beauty of the tip I use is that there are no steps to climb to put your rubbish in the skip and the staff are very helpful at directing you to the correct skip. Didn't get charged for my offcuts of wood which was a bonus! Stopped in DD's village on way back to get some things from their fruit and veg man. Everything always seems fresh in there compared to some of the supermarket veg.

Not sure what I've done with the rest of the day I thought I'd hang some pictures, but realised that measuring where to hang etc really wasn't a one woman job, so I abandoned that idea. Made a couple of overdue phone calls, so I can tick them of my 'to do' list!

Turned quite chilly now, so I've got the fire on, jacket potato in airfryer and I think that'll be me for the evening.

Baby is bathed and the family have gone now. They are visiting SIL's family for the weekend tomorrow, so we won't see them until next week.

Plant, no Gails cafe near us. Shame they are getting bad comments about the tables not being cleaned properly.

Only plans for today is to tidy round and then clean the fridge.

Dinner is prepared. Gammon and pineapple with chips and garden peas.

Nan2 I like that meal but with the addition of a fried egg. OH likes it with the fried egg but not the pineapple.

Plant I haven't heard of Gail's Cafes either.

Reflexology for me this morning, then school pick up this afternoon (I must check if I have go to both schools!) Pizza for tea as I have promised the GC a delivery from our local pizza place which is very good. We usually eat after the children have gone but we can't resist this pizza so we will order for ourselves as well and all eat together.

I’ve been in lurking mode recently. Finding life a bit too stressful lately. I will survive!

It’s our 50th anniversary this year and we are going to India soon. South west this time. I am really looking forward to the trip and some warm weather.
Where do I find some summer clothes? I sent most of last year’s stuff to the charity shop! The sewing machine is out and that is what I’ll be doing this weekend.

Nanto2, dinner sounds delicious as always, lasagne and salad here I think.

I love gammon but not the pineapple or egg , Im happy to have it plain .

Well I took my first Tremor pill last night and I’m not enjoying the side effects woke in the night to the room spinning ,
This morning I feel foggy headed drained and a bit off balance BUT my hands are so much less shaky.

Hopefully the side effects will subside if not it’s replacing one problem with another . I will give them awhile see what happens .

Ive managed my housework hanging onto things but I’m not sure what else I will be doing today .

GM, Sorry you have been a bit off colour, you are still beating me at Words. Holiday sounds exciting.

We have three tips within driving distance, I use two of them, no steps and the staff are all very helpful. No plans for today, it is lovely and sunny, might go and feed the ducks. Haven’t had gammon for ages, sometimes it is a bit salty.

WG, hanging pictures is not a one woman job. I am available to help if you promise not to hit my fingers.

Good morning everyone, it is still windy but the sun it out now, I have been to do the coffee and the plants, they are all doing so well, the plants I mean.

GM, you will be looking forward to the holiday in India. busy with the sewing machine.

Our government have announced an apology for treating the unvaccinated like they did during the lock downs. They say it should have been the peoples choice and not being forced on everyone. I fully agree and I know many with me. We were not even allowed in the gyms, restaurants etc without the codes.

Oma, I hope the side affects soon clear, I had tablets for my bladder but they blocked my bowels so that wasn't good either.

Have they got the road sorted out yet Daisy?

I have just phoned my BIL, I wish he would get out more but he won't. He is talking about moving to sheltered housing? They have their own flat or something but always someone around for company. I do realise now that my sister was the "strength" in their marriage.
