    Morning Nanto/ladies

Bit overcast here Nanto but no rain forecast just cloudy and warm .

Grauntie I haven’t heard of that I will Google it
Pleased you had a nice few days away I hope you were good and they will let you back again πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

We off to MILs with her food , I wonder what mood she’s in today πŸ™„
It’s awful when you dread going but have no choice ,

Bs sister text yesterday to warn us his mother is going to ask us to take her Freezer shopping
Hers is leaking , one job we are not looking forward too ,

We still remember the carry on we had getting this one , she has limited space and height in her kitchen so it has to be small but they are hard to get hold of and she moans about buying online , trouble is it’s only place we can get them , we looked last year when she mentioned needing a new one so we already know πŸ™„

Have a good day ladies I will pop back on my return 😁

Good Thursday morning everyone. It's hot and sunny here again. Still working out how I can save all the new plants and trees in our garden when the hosepipe ban starts tomorrow! I think we'll have to give them a good watering tonight (but feel guilty even thinking about using extra water in the current situation) and then mulch the most vulnerable ones.

I'm still trying to catch up with chores after nearly 2 weeks of visitors, but we still seem to have a lot going on. OH is going to collect some pallets for DS2 this morning - he's making raised beds for a vegetable garden and they won't go in his car. I'm on what seems like Load Number 10 of washing (dread to think about the ironing, Glamm!) plus loads of jobs in the garden. But OH will collect me on his way over to DS2's - we haven't seen them for a couple of weeks.

I must get dressed and take Eva out before it gets too hot. Back later. xx

        Good morning ladies.

Grauntie, are earthing blankets the same as weighted blankets? My DD and GS1 have those.

Good luck with the freezer buying Oma! As you will remember, we used to have all those fun and games with my mum!

Daisy, you will catch up with the chores eventually. Take it slowly and don't overdo it.

All I have on today is visiting my mum this afternoon. I may walk down to Thomas' in the village this morning to buy her a cream cake. The home are concerned about how little she eats ( they are getting a dietician in) but she makes short work of cream cakes I take!

        Have a good day

Everything You Need to Know About Weighted Blankets for Adults (harkla.co)

Your questions answered: Why is it important to be grounded? How can I ground myself? For how long do I need to stay grounded to feel the benefits? More ...

Gem, not sure if they both do the same thing, haven't had time to read up yet.
Hope you have a good visit with your mum. Don't forget the cream cake.

Warm here with a breeze. Washing not been out long and its almost dry.

Daisy, don't wear yourself out,you get caught up eventually.

Daisy, guests for 2 weeks, you must feel tired. How is your GD1? Is there still some progress with her health problem.

Oma, good luck with Mil, perhaps she will great you with a smile.

Grauntie, I haven’t heard of earthing blankets either.

Gemini, I hope you have a lovely visit with your mother, she must be very frail if she will not eat.

I am going to pick up some tablets from the local hospital this morning and as it is on the way to J.Lewis I might go and have a coffee there and have a look around. I have an appt. On 19th with a lady specialist in skin conditions, I shall take all the creams I have been prescribed and hope she can offer another treatment. I am not feeling very optimistic, I gather it is very difficult to get rid of. I can’t understand why I should suddenly, at my age, develop psoriasis.

            Will pop in later.

              Well back from MILs ,
She wasn’t too bad usual moans complaints about hairdresser doing her perm too tight , she says the same every time and after about a week it slackens down and is fine πŸ™„

Put her food in the freezer and it’s fine so she has decided to wait , we think in the heat maybe it hasn’t been turned up high enough .

Stripped her bed , turned the mattress and put fresh bedding on ,
B put the bin out , then I cleaned the kitchen floor , she put bedding in and dropped the fabric conditioner bottle ,
Not much spilled out but it splashed a long way across the floor .

Popped into Morrisons on way home .

              Plant
its strange as you say suddenly to develop Psoiasis , it must be horrible ,
Hopefuly this Dr can help you , I do hope so .

              Daisy
You must be exhausted you really need a break away ,
we don’t have a hose pipe ban yet thankfully x

              Gem
Hope yourMum is ok , funny how they won’t eat a meal but enjoy a cream cake , Bs Mam is the same πŸ™„
I remember the trouble you had with buying a new fire with your Mum and the telly
              Difficult isn’t it .

              Nanto
my washing dried lovely while I was out ,
Its very overcast but warm and a soft breeze so perfect drying ,
I thought I would put them out and chance the rain . Pleased I did .

Hallo everyone, I had to Google the "earthing blanket"! Earthing sheets are regular bedding sheets with a conductive material woven through them. This conductive material connects to a wire you plug into the grounding port on a standard electrical outlet (it's the third prong; that semi-circular hole beneath the other two prongs

Oma, you have been busy with your MIL.

Gem, enjoy the visit to your mum, the mother of a friend of mine is the same, one day she won't eat and the next she is out of bed and looking for food!

It is still very warm here, too warm for me, I went on the bike to Zoetermeer, now I want to get some altering done.

it’s dull in the north east but warm just nice although it was sticky during night .

Gem, hope you had a good visit with your mum.

Oma, it was a perfect drying day today.

Gd1 was going to call today. She went to her workplace as they all wanted to see the baby.
She didn't get out ill 4,so they are coming tomorrow.

Lizzie, hope you got your alterations done.

The earthing blankets sound very interesting. I have never heard of them.

I'm glad you have an appointment at least Plant. I hope something can be done to help you.

Lizzie,I have lost nothing like the amount of weight you have, but a couple of pairs or my trousers are at the falling down stage

Nan2, you will look forward to seeing GD and baby tomorrow.

Mum was deeply asleep when I got there this afternoon. I didn't like to wake her, but she started to stir after about 10 minutes and I went over to the bed, where she was on top of the covers.
She said she thought I was her sister A ( who was dark like me) then she thought it was Christmas and reminded me we were going to the pantomime that night! I don't say anything when she is confused like that. Once she was fully awake and in the chair she was more herself and asked after OH, as she always does. We had a nice chat and she was fine but sleepy when I left her.

I Googled 'earthing blanket' as well, and to be honest was none the wiser. Then I read "When you're grounded, you allow yourself to feel centered and balanced no matter what's going on around you. If you aren't grounded you're like a leaf in the wind: very vulnerable and thrown off balance very quickly. But when you are well grounded, you are like a big, strong tree. "

So I think I'm like a big strong tree, but my leaves are falling off!

It took OH over 3 hours to collect the pallets for DS2, what with traffic, a jobsworth blocking the entrance to the company's yard and various other things. We took the pallets over after lunch and spent a couple of hours with DS2 and the GDs after they returned from a baking course. We were able to sample their delicious goodies! OH watered the front garden while I cooked dinner. We have now packed the hose pipes away until the ban is over.

I think the last couple of weeks is catching up with me, so I'm off to bed! Sleep well, everyone. xx

Gem, glad you had a nice chat with your mum.

Not much planned for today, hoping GD1 can make it today.
