Gemini, how exciting, I hope the birth continues naturally for her and not too long. Come on baby, we are all waiting!

Hello everyone. I'm too late to say 'good morning'! It's a lot cooler here (no rain) and we took Eva to the paddock first thing. She really needed a good run.
Gem - soooooo exciting, at long last! Hopefully there will be the least intervention possible and everything will progress naturally. I remember being told once your water break they like to see things get going, so I hope by now DD3 is having regular contractions. All us grannies are waiting and wishing her and baby well. xxx
Can't hear ourselves think here - OpenReach are drilling for oil! Well that's what it sounds like, it's just a shallow trench to put the fibre optic cable in, but it's a toss up whether we are deafened with the windows open or roasted with them closed!
Back later.

Nice hair Oma
Nothing much to report on the baby ladies. Thanks for asking and thank you for the announcement Daisy!
I heard from DD not long ago. They are in a side room on the antenatal ward. She is still having contractions but she feels it's still early stages. They had given her the prostaglandin gel an hour or so before.
She was bouncing on ball and was going to go for a walk round with SIL.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Gem, it sounds as though things are progressing, as Oma said. It must seem like a very long day for you. xxx
Nanto - poor little baby and mummy getting Covid so soon. I do hope they're ok.
Oma - I was amazed how quickly Finley bounced back from both Meningitis and Covid.
We're forecast rain for tomorrow according to my weather app, so I've just cut the lawn and swept the patio. OH is out at his wood turning club tonight. I did a mushroom and tomato omelette and salad for a quick dinner - we're not used to eating so early this warm weather and neither of us was very hungry.

Cool and dark this morning.
No baby news yet from Gem.
We had visitors yesterday.Hubby's brother and wife. She's friends with me now.
Says she's glad they didn't go,after hearing the baby and mum have covid.
I must ring sister in law later and ask how the new baby is.
Yesterday we pulled some more rhubarb from the garden,so going to make some pies and crumbles for the freezer.
I'll check in later to see if there is any update from Gem.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
