Well just back from hairdressers and phone rang , it was Clare they have cancelled the induction of baby till tomorrow due to some issue ,
She was in tears as she had wound herself up for today , just all emotional at the moment , they have assured them it will be tomorrow but I told her not to hold her breath till she is actually in , you never know Baby may decide to come itself today 🙄

Hallo everyone, I am late today and I was so tired yesterday I never got round to posting, I don't think I did anyway.

Oma, tell Clare it will be a june baby instead of a May one! I think it is strange that her DH can't be with her! How is your DD? A knee can be painful.

Daisy, enjoy your birthday. it will be nice to open the cards with the girls.

Gem, enjoy your day out with the GC.

I have been for my rooftop walk in Rotterdam and loved it! Very well organised as well. I had a walk round the market before returning home. Lovely and sunny but they say heavy storms later on.

WG, you would feel more relaxed after the massage. I don't think we realise how deaf we are getting until we get the hearing test done.

Its been a day of sun and showers here. Not very warm at all.

Nanto, it was lovely in Rotterdam, very warm and sunny, then, I had only been home a short while and it poured with rain! I have received a mail that the roof walk is closing early because of the storm that is forecast, it isn't here as yet but you never know.

I had a lovely day with the boys. We saw all weathers today from rain to bright sunshine. No wind though!
We took a packed lunch and drinks, and all had an ice cream mid afternoon.
We were there from 11am until after 4 so got our
money's worth!
I ordered their school holiday treat of takeaway pizza and chips delivered to the house just after 5. They watched the Batman Lego movie before being taken home.
OH did well at golf, so a good day for all.

A bit of a go with the flow day today.
Hubby is going down to the bungalow if the weather stays dry.
They want a gate at the side of the house.

Good morning, we didn't get the storm that they forecast, maybe in other parts of the Netherlands, I did hear thunder during the night and there has been rain.

I have (want) to stay home today as I am expecting a call from the urologist, I would rather be home when he calls.

I am pleased you enjoyed your day out with the boys Gem. I am sure they both enjoyed it as well.

I want to get the windows cleaned outside, I did get the inside done yesterday afternoon.

Had Storm out at the crack of dawn , he loves all the smells at that time of morning especially as it’s been raining all night ,

DD and family land at 10 so B going to pick them up then they will come to collect Storm and GSs car ,
Got a load of darks on then i will put the dogs blankets in .

Good morning ladies. I didn't get a chance to come back here yesterday and by the time we got home at 11.30 I was tired!! I've been overwhelmed with so many lovely greetings, cards and messages it's going to take me a day or two to say proper 'thank yous'. I'm so lucky to have such good friends.

Oma - I keep thinking about Clare. I do hope they take her in today. It must have been awful yesterday when they postponed her induction. You gear yourself up for it , and then crushing disappointment when it doesn't happen, and even more so for Clare with all she's been through. I hope DD and family have enjoyed their holiday. You will miss Storm, though!

Lizzie - I hope it's good news from the urologist. That rooftop walk looks amazing, even 444 steps wouldn't put me off wanting to do it!

Gem - your day (and S's) went very well. I think it's those kind of days that our grandchildren remember in years to come.

Nanto - your OH is a real treasure, he seems to be able to turn his hand to anything. I hope the gate isn't too much hard work.

Plant - I'm glad H enjoyed time with her auntie. She is such a friendly little girl, and I bet auntie had a great time with her. I hope GD1's MIL is home soon, though. I bet she's missing H. How are your neck and shoulder today?

I've mentioned on the Birthday thread about my lovely day yesterday, and I was so pleased GD1 was well enough to come here. I think she enjoyed the change of scene and tucked in to an enormous lunch. I've just been in touch with her Daddy, and she is feeling ok today as well. We are cautiously starting to hope she may have turned a corner, but know full well she could be back to square one tomorrow. I'll write about DS1 in YEO.

The weather is nice at the moment but due to rain later. At least it won't be too hot for dog training! Eva is sleeping off her exciting day with Cooper yesterday, plus a very late night walk to keep my friend M company going home last night. The shortest way for her is along a narrow unmade and unlit private road which she's understandably not keen to use on her own. So Eva and I walked with her to a road with lighting. I think Eva thought it was her birthday! But she wasn't happy when M went off without her and I had to almost drag her to make her turn round to go home.

My days are being a bit disrupted, baby H is asleep so I can get on here, she has a good two hours in the morning. GD2 is doing an amazing job looking after her, GD2 did spend a year in France looking after 2 young children. I am taking her to the station tomorrow morning. I am going to a Jubilee lunch today, I hope it stays fine as we are outside.

Oma, I hope the family have had a good holiday, that seems to have gone quickly. I do hope Clare will be admitted today.

That sounds a lovely birthday Daisy, so pleased to hear GD1 was feeling well enough to join in.

Nanto, your in-laws are very lucky having your OH to get things done on their new abode. I hope he enjoys doing it.

Gemini that sounds like a really fun day with the GC, you certainly got your monies worth and the pizza tea was the icing on the cake. They will always remember what fun thing they did with you.

I overslept so I didn't have time to post here before going to aqua aerobics.

OH and I are going to Aldi this afternoon, as we haven't been for a while.

I hope it stays fine for the Jubilee lunch Plant. I has just rained here but the sun is shining now.

I'm glad that you had a nice birthday Daisy, and that the GDs could come over to you.

Lizzie, I hope the urologist calls early so you don't have to stay in if you want to go out.
