    Good morning ladies.
A cold and windy night and still like that, Brrrrr!

I like hearing about your meals Nan2

I hope it stays fine for your planting Daisy.

This morning is beautifying time for me! My hair to colour and my toe nails to paint. OH will do that for me. Due to my nail lady having covid last week I didn't get my gel nails done.
We will change our bedding today rather than tomorrow morning, then we can get the old stuff washed.
I am going to see my mum this afternoon of course. A Tesco order with cat food and food for the week 1 cat sitters is due between 5 and 6.
Everyone is stressing that SIL's cold will suddenly show up as covid, so fingers crossed on that one.

    Have a good day everyone.

Getting very exciting for you all Gemini, I do hope that cold doesn’t manifest itself into the dreaded covid. I hope you find your mother in reasonably good spirits today.

Nanto, dinner sounds good as usual.

I am going to pop out today to get some money but no contact with others because I am not out of the wood yet. It is bowling today but I am going to give it a miss again. Although the government says 5 days I tested yesterday, my 8th and it is still showing a strong red line. My new tests have not arrived yet. I had a phone call yesterday to fix an appt. With the Dermatology dept. On the 24th.

      I will pop back later.

An alternative to Nanto’s cheery morning posts! And that was without anything to drink 😂

WeeGranny - what on earth has happened? That looks very painful. Sending gentle hugs to you. xx

Gem - another day closer! You will look beautiful anyway, but nice to get the 'bits' done how you want them. What colour nails have you chosen? I do hope SIL is ok - it's nail biting, isn't it. I hope you find your Mum well and cheerful this afternoon. xx

Nanto - you are so naughty - you always manage to make me feel hungry with your tasty dinners. I love the graphic.

Plant - it sounds as though you are feeling better even if the tests say otherwise. I hope your tests arrive today. Take care.

We had our Sainsbury order today as I have an appointment tomorrow morning, so I'm only just getting ready. It's rained overnight but the sun is shining now, so I hope to get on with the planting.

            Have a good day everyone.

Hallo everyone, blowing a gale, I had a doctors appointment and it was quite scary at times. I have a "shadow" on my left breast, I notice it when I am getting dressed so phoned the surgery yesterday and she asked if I was worrying, of cause I worry!! She told me to go this afternoon and I have just been, a nice new young lady doctor, she looked and felt, she couldn't feel any irregularities , in the breast so prescribe a cream and I have to go again in fortnight, if it is no better she will do a video call to the dermatologist. I asked her about my thyroid, my therapist said to ask as with losing the weight my body could need less medicine, I have my blood taken next week and she will get the results before I have to go again.

Oma, you certainly are a busy bee! Mind you, I went to the gym, in the pouring rain, came home and hoovered through, did the floors and oiled my suite etc so I was busy, oh, and I called in at the curtain material shop as I want to cover a foot stool to match the rug, I came home with the samples, chose one then took it back, he hasn't got the material in until Tuesday so I will have to be patient.

There was a man at the gym, he used to be there every day but I haven't seen him since the lock down, I asked someone once and she said he was having things going on at home but would be back again. I was talking to him and he lost his wife to lung cancer during the lock down, she was only 60 years old. They hadn't children and he was telling me they had so many plans for when they both took early retirements. He said he has been a few times to the gym after his work but wants to get back to his early mornings.

WG, what on earth were you doing to get those bruises? How is the move going?

Oma, that was an early call from your Mil, I wondered where you were. Is Mil very far away?

Sil, cut the grass this afternoon, they are away for a week, I doubt it would have been too long after they get back. It is bitterly cold outside.

We're getting the April showers! Together with a howling gale and temperatures that say 11C but feel more like 1C in the wind.

We have finally decided where to put the new garden furniture, but it's been far too cold and windy to have lunch out there today. We've just had quite a downpour and after the rain last night the garden is too wet to dig. The plants will have to wait. I'm going to do some tidying up in the dining room in a bit.

Oma - you have certainly had a busy morning, and you too, Lizzie. I hope the cream sorts out the shadow problem for you. At least you were seen quickly. How sad for the man at the gym. It sounds as though he's trying hard to rebuild his life.

Plant - I cut the 'old' part of our lawn a couple of days ago - just a light cut, but it looks better. The newly seeded area is growing but is very slow. There's been too much cold weather. Where are SIL and DD going on holiday?

Plant she is about 20 minute drive away ,
normally she would Go mad if we dared to turn up that early but because she needed stuff she was ok about it .

Lizzie always better to get things checked out ,
Do you find like me when you get up early you get a lot done and don’t realise till you stop what you have done 😁
The poor man he must feel lost but good he is out and about and back at the gym .

Daisy our new chairs came we have them stored till the weather is better , did your covers stay on 😁

Plant MILs gardener gave her garden a trim last week it looks so much neater even that small job made everything look fresher

Oma, I often think that! A lovely clean house before the rest of the world has woken!! I even make sure the house is tidy before I go to the gym at 6-30am.

To cut a long story short, I fell in the middle of Cambridge yesterday on my to get fitted for new bras next thing I knew I was lying in the road with several concerned people round me! Someone phoned for an ambulance……18 hour wait! I jest not! Got an ambulance with one of the kind people who was visiting with her son who’s hoping to study in Cambridge. DD rushed from Milton Keynes but had to wait in Costa’s because nobody is allowed in with patient.
I have broken my nose and bones in my hand. Hand in splint and very sore so have been popping painkillers and sleeping all day.
Thanks for your kind wishes ladies. GS home from school now so being welllooked after and doggo Has been guarding me while sharing the bed!!
I didn’t even have the excuse of too much alcohol 😂😂

Oh WG, how awful, that must have been so scary not to mention painful I hope you feel a lot better very soon.

Lizzie and Oma, you are an example to us all

Lizzie, I know you are a worrier and I am too, but I hope you were reassured about your breast.

Oma, yes all 8 of us were negative this morning. It just has to stay that way for tomorrow. We fly on Saturday and the supervised tests must be the day before. DD2's family's appointment is 8.20 tomorrow morning, ours is at 9.40. DD1 could only get one during school hours so GS's school is kindly providing a room for them both to have the video call.
Taxi to Manchester from our house at 4pm for us and DD and GS1. Second pick up, DD2s family, on the way

A very tiring visit to mum. Her short term memory is really bad now, so I repeat myself literally dozens of time. She was very disoriented by being in a different room. When shes away from her room she has no memory of it or where she lives at all
Good to see her though, I stayed almost two hours.

Oh goodness WG what a dreadful accident. If you fancy a visitor send me a message but I expect you are too shaken for visitors. Haven’t you any recollection what caused you to fall.

Getting close now Gemini, almost ready for take-off. Sorry about your mother, try not to worry you need a holiday with all you have been through this year.

Daisy, DD and sil are going to Ibiza and DS and Dil are away too, they are going to Berlin. GS1 and his family are away too so GD1 and GS3 and 4 are on call if I need them. I expect GD1 and baby H will be popping in.
