      Good morning everyone.

Oma, hopefully they will be able to sort out your BP issues at your appointment.
My DD3 is fine thanks. I will see her ( and the bump!) on Sunday.

Daisy I'm glad to hear Missy is recovering well. Fingers crossed your OH has avoided catching covid.

I hope you have a good shopping trip Nan2. As you say, we must make the most of the weekend's nice weather.

I will be at the library this morning, until 2pm, at a book sale. A joint effort between the library, our Friends group and the community centre. I will be on the Friends Group stall, but could help on the library one instead in my Volunteer role if needed!

We are getting a new hedgehog today. I will make a separate thread about that later.

      Happy Saturday to all

Another lovely morning, I was awake too early but the sun shining into my bedroom persuaded me to get up. A friend has organised a Craft Fair for her WI funds in the village hall so I will pop in this afternoon. Daisy, the constant itching is caused by the ongoing psoriasis. There are so many cases of Covid around now it seems to be inevitable that one will catch it. I have just bought myself a smaller ironing board as I find trying to carry and put up my large one was positively dangerous. I put a note on the local website and within 5 minutes I had a reply and it was picked up about an hour later. The person who took it only lived a short distance away.

Gem, I hope the library book sale does well. It will be lovely for you to be able to hug your DD3 at the weekend.

Nanto, enjoy your shopping trip, are you having lunch out? Love the graphic, she will need some more clothes on next week if the forecast is right.

Daisy, what a difficult time you must have had trying to isolate yourself from your OH. I had to water a border yesterday, it was so dry and I am going to water the courtyard pots today. Eva and Missy will be so pleased to see each other when Missy has recovered.

            Good Saturday morning everyone.

Thank for for the summery graphic, Nanto. Enjoy your shopping trip.

Gem - it sounds as though your local library is thriving - you must be a very dedicated bunch of volunteers to have made such a success of it.

Oma - sending hugs. Your sister sounds a lovely lady and you must always miss her, but birthdays and anniversaries always bring things back, don't they. xx

More gardening for me today - I'm getting there, and pleased with progress.

Good morning, very warm Oma, washing it out on the line and almost dry, they do forecast colder again next week.

You will miss your sister, especially on days like birthdays etc.xx

I am going to help DS2 tomorrow clear his meadow of twigs so that he can get it mowed, they are both improving slowly after the covid, I will have to stay outdoors as DIL's eldest daughter is there for a few days with baby and dog, I was ill last time I was there when they were there.

Plant - you posted while I was typing. How annoying that your Psoriasis is causing you such problems. OH's doesn't seem to itch - it's just scaly and irritates him if it catches on clothes - usually elbow and knees. But I know it's different for everybody, and not easy to treat. xx I'm doing lots of watering with this dry weather and so much replanting.

Lizzie - it's amazing how twigs hide in the grass, isn't it. When we take Eva to our friend's paddock we always walk round collecting twigs to make it easier for him to mow it. I hope the weather stays nice so you can be outside and avoid the dog.

Daisy the psoriasis I am suffering with is individual scaly spots all over my body but mainly on my legs and a bit on my arms and hands. My back does itch but I think my skin is so dry. The doctor has stopped the treatment, I see her next Friday about BP but I need her to chase the Dermatology people up. I have just bought a new shower crème, it cost me £9, I hoped it would help the itching but no change.

Plant I hope the cream helps , when B was I’ll I had the most awful itching on my back and legs , I went to dermatologist he said it was stress ,
I still get it now and then if I’m worried , He gave me double base shower wash and cream
it’s so uncomfortable isn’t it , You really need to see a dermatologist though there may be something else they can give you that your doctor can’t xx

Daisy thank you yes my sister was my best friend , it’s 18 years since she died I still miss her but it gets easier as the years go by doesn’t it xx

I have done all my bedding and got it dried on the line plus a load of whites , it’s so nice to get them line dried
B brought them in for me though as I can’t stand the smell of fresh air on the washing it makes me feel a bit sick , odd I know
Im not fat just 6ft too small

I'm sure you will always miss your lovely sister Oma xx
Mum is OK thanks. This afternoon DD2 is dropping off her Mothers Day things for tomorrow. The plan was for us all to be together at DDs tomorrow, but of course mums' positive diagnosis put paid to that. We will still do it, but it was for mum it was planned really.

I hope you have a nice time at the craft fair Plant.

The sale went very well. We made around £60, plus a bit more on refreshments.
DD and GS1 came for a browse and bought few books and I had a coffee with them.

I came home at 2 and had lunch in the garden with OH. Then we placed our new hedgehog Holly in her new home
OH is now cutting the grass. I am about to make buns and chocolate rice crispie cakes. To take to DD2s tomorrow for the buffet tea.

Oma, treasure your memories of your sister.

We had a good day in town and it was warm
Didn't buy anything special just odds and ends.
Stocked up at the butchers, but i was replenishing stock, not panic buying.
We ate in town, then went to the supermarket.

Gem - well done on the sale today. I hope Holly is settling down and enjoys snuffling around the garden tonight. If we were closer I could give her some nice tasty slugs to build up her weight. It's such a pity your Mum can't join you at DD2's tomorrow, but I'm sure she will still have a nice day.

Plant - did you buy anything at the craft fair? I think by the end of winter a lot of us suffer from dry skin with all the central heating and low humidity, but it does sound as though you need help from the dermatologist with that Psoriasis. It must drive you mad at times.

Oma - it's funny you saying about the smell of washing when it's line dried. Usually I think it smells nice and fresh, but sometimes it seems too intense and a bit yukky! I don't know why!

Nanto - sometimes it's just nice to browse round isn't it - especially on a nice day like today.

I've done a bit more work on the garden, and have enjoyed just being out in the sunshine. It's seemed a long winter! I came in about 5, fed Eva and spent an hour bagging up about 6 kg of food into meal-sized portions for her. Then went out to water the new trees and plants I've moved. By then it was dark, so I'm looking forward to Summer time starting tomorrow for the longer evenings.

Good morning, it is still dark, I will have to get used to it.

Gem, is the hedgehog enjoying its new home?

Plant, I hope you do get help with the itching, once you start to scratch you can never stop can you? My skin is dry with having the support tights and sleeves on, there are not many creams I can use when I have them on though, plus the fact that they are very difficult to get on if I put creams on.

I am going to DS2 this morning, it will be a good run for my car. I would like to book a trip to the UK but I will wait and see what P&O are planning.

I have just been reading that people are complaining to the bank that you need to get another phone to get the updates, it has to do with the security, which I understand.

I went out on the bike yesterday afternoon, no jacket needed, I went to see if the growers had their stalls out, I was talking to the lady from the cucumbers, she said at the end of this coming week, the same with the tomatoes.

I hope you will all be spoilt on Mothers Day.xxxx

I've got mince and onion in the slow cooker, need some cottage pies for the freezer.

Daisy, you've certainly done a lot of work in the garden.

Plant, hope the itching eases off soon.

                                Lizzie,enjoy your visit to DS2.
