Good morning Oma and everyone else.

It rained here a lot during the night but it's fine at the moment.
Oh poor Storm!! I hope he is much better today Oma. The sleep is what he needed.

This afternoon OH and I are taking mum to meet her oldest friend and her DD at the cafe we took mum to on her birthday and have taken her to a couple of other times. It's nice, on the riverside, only 10 minutes drive for mum and plenty of room for the wheelchair.
Tonight GS1 is coming for a sleepover.

    I hope everyone is well.

Gem - I hope it stays fine for your Mum's trip out to see her friend. Everything is so much better when the sun's shining and it sounds a very nice location. Enjoy the sleepover. Is GS1 an early riser?

Oma, poor Storm, I hope he feels better soon, it is a worry when they can’t tell you what is wrong. Lovely graphic.

Gem, I hope the sun shines on your mother’s trip to see her friend. I hope GS doesn’t wake you up too early

Glamm, an exciting day for you, I hope it is love at first sight for you and Henry

I have no plans today, sore throat has developed into a cold, covid test taken, alls well there. I think I will be watching rugby this afternoon. the sun is shining so I might have a walk around the garden.

          Good Morning ladies...
Well today is the day for my visit to see Henry I'm being picked up by DD & and her partner at 10.30 and I been showered & hair washed since 8am all very excited, his owners are coming to mine tomorrow if all goes well which I'm sure it will.I have sorted Poppy's dog bed and fleeces and given them a wash through all drying on the outside line as the sun is shining this morning beautiful weather here.

Plant one of my New Homes selling sites was for M&S in Formby it was a lovely development just off the main Rd very private but close to all amenities as all M&S developments tend to be.When we had the official opening The Beverly Sisters did the opening and entertained the owners for 2 hrs they sang all the wartime hits brought some clients to tears, another opening I went to was opened by Ken Dodd and what was supposed to be 2hrs went on for nearly 4hrs you couldn't get him off the floor such a lovely man and so nice to the ladies.

I'm off now to give the place a quick dust through where does it come from ? the sun is very low and shows up every mark doesn't it.

Daisy I hope Storm is feeling better today they are such a worry.

Talk soon when I get back or tomorrow xx glamma xx

Hello Nan2! No one here is jealous, no not at all Have lovely time!

Glamma, I hope all goes well meeting Henry.

Plant a nice restful day and maybe a little fresh air outside sounds a good plan for you today.

GS1 is an early riser Daisy. Now he is older he knows not to wake the grown ups though, so will read in his room a bit then probably come down and watch TV or go on a screen. I get up earlier than I normally do when he is here, but not as early as I had to when he was small!

Hallo everyone, I am late today. Oma, I do hope that Storm soon recovers, poor dog and poor you!

Glamm, I hope that all goes well with the blind date with the dog.

Gem, I hope your mum enjoys her trip out.

I have been to Zoetermeer, the next village cum town to here, I went on my shopping bike as there are so many batteries stolen at the moment from the E bikes, I could take it out and carry it with me, that is what people are having to do at the moment, it is insured but I would rather not have the hassle of it all. I manage on the bike, only there was a strong wind on the way home, I had to use my legs! I wanted to go to TKMaxx for a few tops, I got what I wanted, I like getting tops there as they are usually a good brand and the sleeves etc are long enough. I did see jackets in the sale, I managed not to linger near them.

I got the rest of the plants I wanted at a local garden centre, just 2 more olive trees to buy. I did see them at the garden centre, I will have to go in the car one day.

I'm glad you didn't get blown off your bike Lizzie! What a pain having to avoid using E bikes due to people stealing batteries!

Glamm I hope you and Henry get along , so exciting 😁

Lizzie what a pain but there are people with no morals all over the world who think it’s ok to steal other peoples property , Makes you mad doesn’t it 🤬

Gem hope your Mum enjoys her outing , how long is it since she last seen her friend ?

Daisy a day off from gardening will give you a chance to recharge your batteries 😁

Storm is still unwell but was still pleased to see us and was going to have some cooked chicken as we were coming home ,
His ears pricked up and his tail wagged when DD mentioned Chicken ,

He still feels hot to the touch and sleeping a lot but hasn’t been sick again so that’s a positive thing .

Hate to see him poorly 😢

Mum and her friend last met up at this same cafe in early November. Before that it had been almost 2 years due to the pandemic.

Oma, it annoys me!! Why can't they keep their hands off what is not theirs? Nothing is safe.
I hope Storm feels better after his bit of chicken.

Glamm - I've been wondering all day how you and Henry got on. What kind of Dachshund is he? You had some interesting times in the property world. Ken Dodd was famous for over-running - two hours was about par - but he was very funny and when he switched between comedy and singing he'd bring the audience to tears.

Lizzie - it's terrible that people will steal batteries off e-bikes. Hopefully the manufacturers of the bikes will find some way to make them more secure. I always think of The Netherlands as a law-abiding country, but it sounds much like here. How big are your olive trees? Are they for your balcony?

Gem - Did you Mum enjoy her trip out? I bet you're glad GS1 can amuse himself first thing now. I remember our GSs getting to that stage - they'd go downstairs, put the telly on and get bowls of cereal, and we grown-ups could have a lie-in. I usually ended up having to get up because the dogs wanted their breakfasts.

Oma - I do hope Storm is on the mend. I agree - it's horrible to see them poorly.

For the first time since last Autumn, I've dried washing outside this afternoon. It was almost a pleasure! I've also cleaned out and tidied up some of the kitchen cupboards. I had a few small vases etc that I never use, so thought I'd put them in a box in the loft. They didn't make it! I put them on a tray. Put the tray on the dining room table - and everything slid off! Only a couple of things broke but it takes ages to clear up the bits, doesn't it!

Plant - thank goodness you tested negative. I hope your throat is feeling better. Did you manage the walk round the garden or was the weather too wet?

Missy's owners are due back this evening, so I'll be saying goodbye to my lovely foot warmer - she always seems to lie on my feet! She's been so good and got on really well with Eva.

                            Morning ladies
                            A very early morning ,
My neighbour is having another episode
Police van and car at hers from about 5 pm last night at one point they pulled a Tazer gun on her when she threatened them ,
but then just left her about 11.30 pm

Now a Ambulance has been here since 4am
she is shouting and screaming at them lord knows what they will do as no Dr been out or social workers it seems to be left to the police
At one point last night there were 6 police men there for two hours ,
They have finally got her in the ambulance
They will take her to A&E then she will be back home again in the morning and it will start all over again .

Anyway hope everyone is well I will pop back later after I have had a couple hours sleep
Im not fat just 6ft too small

                              Morning everyone.

Oh Oma, not again with the neighbour. I hope you got some sleep.
Daisy, it's lovely that Eva and Missy get on so well.

Plant, how are you feeling today?

I hope Nan2 is having a lovely time in the ☀️

GS1 was up early as usual but doesn't wake us.
I am having my morning tea downstairs instead of in bed because he has been up hours!
Not sure what time they are picking him up, but they are going to Ikea in Leeds which doesn't open until 11 so it won't be for some time!

OH and I talked about going out for a finally-selling-the-house celebration meal tonight, but not booked anything so far.

                              Happy Sunday everyone.

Good morning, Oma and all who follow. It sounds as though you have had a very disturbed night. At least your cheeky little snail looks well-rested and perky! How awful for your neighbour and everyone concerned. It must be frustrating to see the same cycle of episodes taking place. Awful for her and her family, a huge amount of police and ambulance resources but no solution at the end of the day.

It's a bit sunny here, but we've had heavy rain most of the night. No gardening again for us! But lots to do inside! We're having new bannisters fitted and work starts tomorrow. I'm sure there will be dust everywhere so I'm on a mission to tidy away as many things as possible - including a pile of ironing!

Missy went home last night. She was overjoyed to see her mum. It seems strange and quiet this morning.

                                I hope everyone is ok.
