Definitely deserving of a celebration Gemini.

Daisy, you are tackling one job after another, have you got plenty of dust sheets at the ready. I expect Eva will be missing her friend Missy.

Oma, what a dreadful situation for everyone concerned, I suppose there is only so much that can be done by the police.

I am going to be at my sewing machine today, the WI are having a garden party for the jubilee and I have offered to make bunting. I using two shades of purple, I have cut out the pale shade of purple and will work on those today before I start the darker shade.

            Good Morning All Ladies,
Well he is here !! what a sweetie he is, just a little moan when his other mum left him and he saw her going to the car there where tears on both sides to be honest but she said once again that they couldn't cope with 2 dogs for walking and exercise every day.
He settled in well and had no problem eating or drinking he is now fast asleep on the poof watching out of the window he slept all night cuddled into me when I put the light out and slept all night,up at 7am to back door for a little wee then back to bed for him.
As soon as I get to know how to upload pics I shall show him off the settings on my pics need adjusting to a smaller frame so as soon as I get that done he will be there for all to see.

Gem's many congratulations on completion you deserve a medal for all your hard work.

Oma I feel so sorry for you getting disturbed again from your neighbour when does not have these episodes does she speak to the neighbours at all ? are the episodes due to her not taking her meds ?

Hoping that Storm is feeling much better today poor thing it must be worrying for you all.

I have something to look forward to today and am taking Henry out for his first walk locally he has just woken up and barking at a neighbours dog passing by the window for a little man he has a big bark so must get that stopped asap he seems to have little dog syndrome.

Catch up later xx glamma xx

Good morning, Glamm, you will be pleased with the dog, he will soon settle in.

Daisy, I have 2 (large) olive trees and to be honest they are the only ones that survive when it gets so hot on the balcony so I am going to get 2 smaller ones for the pots on the smaller side.

It is warm here, quite a wind though, 16 degrees and warmer is forecast for the coming week.

I hope you get your sewing done Plant, I made a bag yesterday out of the material from the friend, it folds up small so will go in my bike bag as I had to beg a bag off a young lady the other day as the plant I bought wouldn't fit in the bag, I was busy sorting it out when a lady next to me asked if I happened to have a tissue! She was on one of those tandem style E bikes with her (disabled) young son strapped in the front, I had remarked on how lovely and bright the bike was, it was as well. I gave her a packet of tissues as I always have them handy, she thanked me then I told her about the bag so we were helping all round!

Oma, I hope you managed to get some sleep after our chat.xx

Gem, you do right to go out for a celebration meal.

Daisy, you will miss having the guest dog, the neighbours must be delighted with you, having the dog whilst they are away and knowing it is safe and well looked after.

Daisy... Henry is a standard size dachshund all black with tan paws and eyebrows,he was brought over from Hungry by a couple who mistreated him and he was rehomed at 5mths which I think is strange as usually pet passports are not issued until 6 mths (I maybe wrong) this past owner cannot spend the time walking him and they have decided he needs one to one attention and where someone is with him all day he has certainly settled in here since yesterday, tail wagging every time I speak to him so he must be a happy little chap.

Glam how lovely to have Henry home , how is Oliver taking it ?

Neighbour stops taking her meds then is convinced everyone is against her , hear’s voices etc .

Lizzie it’s nice when you can pass the good deed on isn’t it 😁 pity not everyone is like that .

Plant how nice to be able to make something towards the jubilee party 😁

I think Henry has landed on his paws Glamma I hope he and Oliver get on.

GS helped me with my Wordle today We got it in 4.
He has done quite a bit of reading today and we watched a film together, so he's having a bit more screen time.
I bet DD and SIL are finding Ikea busy, we never go at weekends!

Gem - how lovely that GS1 helped you with Wordle. I'm sure he was pleased to get it in 4 (same here, today!). I hope you are out on that celebration!

Plant - you're starting the bunting in good time, but I'm sure it must take ages to make.

Lizzie - I love olive trees, and I'd love to put one on our new patio - in a nice terracotta pot. It won't be too warm for them here - probably the opposite! It's little acts of kindness like the bags and tissues that make the day, isn't it. I don't think I've seen a tandem e-bike, but I can see how useful it would be to that lady and her son.

Glamm - I'm so pleased to hear you and Henry have got together. He sounds a delightful little dog, but he's certainly had a bumpy start in life, so no surprise if he's got little dog syndrome. I'm sure you will soon be able to distract him from barking at neighbours etc though. He did well to go through the night on his first night, so he must be happy. Are you going to keep his name or change it? I look forward to seeing his photo.

Oma - did you get your nana nap? I bet you were ready for it. We're fed up with the 60s bannisters. They don't look great 'natural', we've had them painted white and they seem to yellow very quickly or are forever getting chipped, so we're having ones with glass panels in. I shall depend on my trusty Karcher window cleaner to deal with the inevitable doggy nose marks.

At least we don't have to worry about the mess - the walls need a coat of paint and the carpet is well overdue for replacement (I wish Oma's SIL was nearer!) I'm sure the whole house will be full of dust but as they say, it gets worse before it gets better! If the weather's good I'll escape to the garden, if it's not, I'll shut myself in the dining room and paint. Win, win.

Eva's been quite quiet today and behaved very well when I took her out for a walk and a sniffathon this afternoon. I've just watched Crufts - liked the Best in Show winner.

Good morning everyone. Daisy, I will find a photo of he E bike. I "saved" my olive trees about 10 0r 11 years ago, they were on our Ebay and when I went for them I thought "oh dear they do look sad and neglected", I got them, put them in larger pots and they have been thriving ever since. It can be really hot on the balcony and they thrive with the sun.

Your stairs will look nice Daisy, DS1 has those glass panels.

Good morning Lizzie and everyone else.

                              What a posh bike Lizzie!

We are going to our friends J and M for lunch today. I did invite them here but they seemed to think it was their rurn to host
We need some shopping so will pop to Tesco first.

Have a good day ladies, lets hope this is a good week for us all.

I am going to the cinema with GD1 today, her Mil is looking after baby H today. Unfortunately she wants to see a cartoon called Sing 2, not my favourite but I expect it will be funny. I expect we will have lunch out too, bank of GM will be paying I expect. I have my dressing changed again tomorrow and I am considering playing bowls on Thurs if it looks okay.

Gemini, I am impressed with your GS helping you with Wordle, but he is a bright lad. Enjoy your meal with your friends

Daisy, that does sound like a lot of mess, definite shut yourself in a room and enjoy your painting.

Glamm, I hope H had another good night, he sounds like he has landed on his feet at last. He will love the children.

Lizzie, what an amazing bike, I have never seen one here. Well done rescuing the olive trees, they must love your balcony.

Oma hasn’t popped in yet, I hope she is okay.
