I'm sure the nurse is right Plant, best let them dress it for you.

I hope you get some fresh air WG.

We had a good aqua class and a coffee afterwards. There will only be SS and myself next week as JT and her OH are off to Spain!
I didn't want to go out again this afternoon. It's wet and miserable!
OH went to the local shop for sausages for our tea and I will go to Aldi and mum's bungalow tomorrow morning. It's a Scrabble, TV and online sort of afternoon (Plus some ironing for OH)

Had a very pleasant coffee followed by lunch at the local golf club followed by fun with GGC.

I hope you managed to get out for some fresh air WG, is has been so cold and miserable here today.

Gemini, I envy you your aqua, ours is starting in April but I will not be able to go if the psoriasis hasn’t cleared up, fingers crossed.

I am still waiting to hear from the Dermatology Dept.

Still raining! I have cleared several drawers, shredded yet more paper.....where does it all come from?, made a rhubarb crumble for my dinner. I'm having a jacket potato with cheese and tuna mayo tonight. Need something warming on this miserable day.

Will watch the Great British menu and get on with my knitting later.

DD coming tomorrow so will have to have something proper for dinner!!!

Glad everyone has had a good day in spite of this weather. I believe the weekend is going to be good.

Plant when GS was referred to Dermatology last year, the wait was at least 6 months. I'm assuming it's the same hospital you're on the waiting list for so I hope it's got shorter by now. They ended up going private. DD has private insurance through her work thankfully.

Have a good evening ladies and keep warm! xx

Plant I'm loving aqua, after several years off! I hope it won't be too long before you can start again.
We had cheesy baked potatoes with baked beans last night WG.
Definitely stodge and comfort food weather!

We had jacket potato today with cheese and beans.
It was followed by rhubarb crumble and custard.

Been a wet dark and miserable day today, but we have a roof over our heads and food for
            the table.
            So musn't grumble.

Plant - I'm so glad your hand is starting to heal. That's good news. x

WeeGranny - it's satisfying to get jobs like that done, isn't it!

Gem - I don't blame you wanting to stay in this afternoon. It sounds as though you've got the bad weather we had down here yesterday - we've still got it as well!

We had a weird dinner tonight! I was going to cook trout fillets with noodles and a vegetable stir fry. So I got all the veggies prepped, noodles ready to go, etc and opened the trout packet. It didn't smell at all good - today was the 'eat by' date. So I binned it, and ended cooking with the rest of the meal and put fried eggs on top! Fortunately OH will eat anything, and it wasn't too awful, just odd.

Eva had a lovely time at training - we did lots of scent work, her favourite thing!

                      Good morning to all.

Not raining here either Nan2. Dinner sounds good.

Daisy, in my opinion a fried egg or some grated cheese enhance almost any meal! Shame about the trout though.

Oma, you will need to refresh yourself a bit before you take MIL out!
After 2 bad nights I went to bed early and had a good night. On the morning I don't have to be up early of course!

This morning I will go to Aldi then my mum's house to check on things.
This afternoon I will visit my mum. I hope it is one of the good days.

Keep warm, dry and safe everyone, and have a good day!

Very dull here, not raining. I am expecting a WI friend this morning for coffee, she has a cheque for me from the person who bought my ticket for the show I missed. I am a bit nervous, she is French and I am making her coffee. Apart from that I have no plans. Might put the duster around and perhaps the sucky thing.

You will certainly need a nanna nap after so little sleep Oma. Hope your Mil is in a happy mood.

Gemini, I hope your mum is in a happy mood for your visit and that her house is okay.

Good morning everyone, very sunny here and warmer, I have yet to go to the gym as I waiting for a man to come and put a new tap on for the washer, I did it myself last time but as I pay for the contract I may as well make use of it. He has just been and everything is back in place.

Daisy, there is nothing worst then smelly fish or meat, you did right to bin it.

Gem, I hope all is well with your mum.

Oma, lets hope your MIL doesn't want too much done today.

I had a nice surprise this morning, I received my gas/electricity bill, with everything being so expensive we get "compensation' from the government, I got quite a refund and my monthly payment is, all of €4!!! I have phoned them and told them I want to pay more monthly, I would rather get a refund then I have to pay more. This doesn't include our heating, that is from a different source, we just use the gas for cooking, if all goes to plan we will be all electric by the end of next year.

I will get a bike ride in later, I took DS1 fruit etc yesterday and ended up going shopping, well to the chemist' with GD1. They are going to Amsterdam today for 3 days, lovely weather for that. GD2 anther friend have a paper round, their local paper, they do it together, it is just 2 hours once a week, GD1 had helped them with it yesterday. If they will manage when they go to other schools I don't know.

Hello, everyone. I promise I haven't just got up!

We had Sainsbury's delivery today instead of tomorrow, and they came early. I was still in the shower! For only the second time in over 2 years the order was complete and no substitutions.

I've wizzed round and done downstairs this morning. Upstairs will have to wait. We've got a busy few days ahead, so I'm trying to get ahead. Tomorrow morning I'm going on a day's art course with DIL2. We're really looking forward to it - it's on waves, spray and rocks. We know the tutor and he's lovely, so really looking forward to that. I need to gather everything together tonight though.

Our next door neighbour came round for coffee and to bring some of Missy's stuff. They're going skiing tomorrow for a week and Missy is staying with us. The two dogs have had days with each other but this is the first time either of them has done overnight. OH had planned to replace some fence panels with another neighbour - some ours, some theirs on Saturday, plus the rest of the fruit trees have arrived and need planting. Then another friend phoned and wanted to come round tomorrow to show us his new motorhome. OH said I wouldn't be in (and Missy is due here about lunch-time) so they arranged for him to come round on Saturday (when we are doing fence panels and planting trees!). And I will be busy cooking - because it's DIL1's birthday on Sunday and I've offered to do some food to help. Then of course, we're going to see DS1 and DIL for her birthday on Sunday!

So I'm not sure whether I'm coming or going.

Please excuse me while I go and bang my head against a brick wall.

Goodness Daisy, stop and take a breath. Eva and Missy will enjoy their time together I am sure, will they both be on your bed? I bet your neighbours are pleased they moved next to you as you are with them.

Oma, I hope the trip with Mil went well, I am sure she appreciates what you do for her, even if she doesn’t say.

All these birthdays, my DD on Sat and Daisy’s Dil’s following the next day

Plant - I don't think we will have two furry little bodies on our bed. Missy usually sleeps downstairs at home, but we'll let her sleep wherever she wants. She doesn't get on beds though. Yes, we are incredibly lucky to have each other as neighbours, we get on very well together.

I'm sure your DD has got everything organised for her birthday. I'm waiting for DS1 to tell me what he wants me to cook/bake for Sunday.

Oma - how did it go today?

Lizzie - we could do with that sunshine.

Gem - I do hope this afternoon has gone well and Mum was pleased to see you. xx
