We managed to get a bit of gardening done this morning. It was too wet at the back, but we cut down the buddleia bushes in the front garden and OH weeded the slate 'lawn'. I made an omelette and salad for lunch, as OH had to go out early this evening. So with dog training this afternoon it's been quite a busy day.

Plant - I think you are wise to take it easy for a few days to give yourself a chance to recover. You certainly wouldn't want to miss the Cirque du Soleil, and having a box will be wonderful, I'm sure. Are you staying in London overnight, or travelling straight back home? It will be a great birthday present for your DD's special birthday.

My goodness, Gem, you did well to get back home before 11am, but it was well worth it to get a table for Easter Sunday Lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. Is that the one with dinosaur-themed food etc?

WeeGranny - the people you're buying from sound in a hurry, but I suppose it might depend on how quickly searches can be done. Will your solicitor give your buyers a prod to get them moving? I remember years ago hearing the word 'diarised' but 'diaritised' is a new one to me! Still, as long as they phone, that's the main thing. Nice to be getting new chairs tomorrow - I hope you haven't had to stand up all day, though. x

Oma - for goodness sake don't let B fall out of bed and break the mirrored door again. Your niece was lucky she didn't get hurt in the wind.

I hope Sum's T is ok and recovering from his op.

Take care, everyone. It sounds dangerous out in that wind tonight.

WG, mid March would be very quick.

Oma, glad your wardrobes are looking back to normal.

The wind calmed down early afternoon, but its blowing a gale again now.

Good morning, Nanto. Your little friend must be out in that wind!

I'm meeting some friends from college for lunch today - the first time I've seen most of them since the pandemic started. We meet at a golf club, right on the cliffs opposite the Needles on the Isle of Wight - it could be a bit windy there today!

Thinking of Sum's T, and hoping he's had a comfortable night, and Plant - hoping you are feeling a bit better and are taking it easy again.

Take care in the rough weather, everyone.

              Good morning ladies.

              Another good windy graphic Nan2.

That must have been shock for your niece Oma!

WG 'Diaratised!' These new made up words make you want to laugh don't they?

Daisy I hope you have a lovely lunch and don't get blown away!
The Rainforest Cafe is the one with rainforest theme. animatronic animals, rain thunder and lightening, night coming etc. Very atmospheric. The food isn't bad but vastly overpriced. It's the experience you are paying for. OH and I go even when we go alone

I hope your hand is less painful Plant.

After blustery night it seems calmer here, and the sun is shining.
My weekly visit to mum this afternoon. I hope she is happier today. After three very good weeks, last weeks visit was awful. I felt so sorry for DD3 who had gone with me.
If the wind gets back up this afternoon I will leave earlier and drive the longer route through town, rather than the bypass where I fear being blown under lorries in those conditions

2o week scan for DD3 today. That is the nerve wracking one, so fingers crossed all is well. They don't want to find out the gender.

Have good day everyone, and stay away from storms!

Good morning, Daisy, enjoy the lunch and don't get blown away! It is very windy here with worse to come, they advice us not to travel etc so I have cancelled my physio for this evening. I have been to the gym , done my shopping and want to get my kitchen cupboards cleaned.

Gem, I hope it isn't too windy for you driving. The scan will go well, is DD still feeling well?

Oma, you will be pleased with the door being fitted, now you want one of those racks? on the bed to stop B falling out again!

It's so sunny and windy with a low chance of rain, so I have pegged out a line of towels, with a lot of pegs on each one!
Thanks Lizzie, yes she feeling fine, that mid pregnancy well being time

Another storm due here tomorrow, well from the early hours I think.

Oma, I hope they have put toughened glass in that wardrobe door. I hope Mil is in a good mood.

Gemini, well done for getting a booking, the children will be amazed as will the adult children.

Take care everyone in the wind, it is windy here but I suspect nothing like you have had.

Thinking about T and Sum, I hope all went well yesterday.

Daisy, have a lovely catch-up with your friends, the venue sounds lovely.

I have a food delivery from Waitrose between 10 and 11 am, I am not dressed. My hand was uncomfortable last night, I got up at 6 and took some pain killers and consequently I haven’t been up very long, no chance of a shower and getting dressed before they come.

Mil was in a good mood but demanding ,

Had to go to local shops for Bread and cigarettes for her although we offered to take her shopping ,
Then I had to go up the road to the Hairdressers with a carry bag full of books as she gives them to one of the Hairdressers for her mother ,

B put the bin out and had to find something in the shed she needed there and then , he finally found it and she changed her mind so he had to put it back 🤨

Took her a home made shepherds pie and a small home made Coffee & Walnut cake .
She was happy with them that’s tea sorted for her .

Plant sorry to hear your hand was hurting don’t rush around today everything can wait when your tired xxx

Daisy enjoy lunch don’t get blown away xx

Lizzie good idea cancelling your Physio when it’s so windy

Gem hope Mum is in a better mood today , like us your never sure how they will be are you .

Hope the scan is all good today isn’t time flying already

I have just "spoke" to my brother and saw his face on the screen for the first time in 12 years! He is very much like our father and as everyone tells me, I am like mum! In my ways I am more my father.

I have cleaned the kitchen etc, on top of all the cupboards etc is clean now. I have just had a walk to the village, it is windy but worse to come.

Gem, when it is windy I use storm pegs on the washing, I think I bought them at Lakeland. I treasure them as they are very good when it is blowing a gale. (Who else treasures washing pegs)??

We've had sun and rain.About 11'0clock it came really dark.

Lizzie, thats a long time to not see your brothers face.
