Plant, I shall have to listen to myself one day!

My sister's review, and the journey, went fine. I was getting low on petrol so filled up on the way out.
Lunch time now.
I am taking GS to martial arts later. DD dropped off his stuff before I went out. He often refuses to go to the Thursday class with his mum or dad, so they like me to take him to the Tuesday one sometimes. I don't mind as its only 5 minute drive away.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Lots of rain here, and the seems to be getting stronger.
We've just told GD2 that we will pay for her car insurance.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Gem - it sounds as though GS1 really enjoys going anywhere with you - it's a lovely compliment (and he knows you always take an interest in his WWE). I hope the review meeting went well and your sister is keeping well. Poor OH - she will be frozen and probably soaking wet as well.
We've had a massive downpour here, but it's stopped now - just ordinary rain. The hygienists was fine. Back to seeing her every 6 months now, after missing several appointments during lockdown.
OH has just asked me to type out some lists for some charity work he does. The cards will have to wait a while, but I did make a start before the dentists.

It's been a sitting on the phone type of day, but got some more of the legal sort of stuff sorted out! DS has just gone in the bath and he's just asked: Are you expecting any more phone calls today? Hopefully not! Off for a coffee and biccie and then to write some cards to distant cousins. They'll get posted tomorrow because I'm not going out in this weather, torrential rain and strong winds.
Keep safe and warm ladies xBelieve you can and you're halfway there.

Kind of you to pay your GDs car insurance Nan2.
Don't worry Daisy, you will get those cards done eventually!
Yes, stay in in these conditions if you don't have to go out WG!
It was very wild when I collected GS from school, we were both very glad of our padded coats with hoods up! I think it has calmed a lot now. Cold though!

GS1 rang to say he was coming for tea after college so B went to pick him up as it was raining hard ,
Then my next door neighbour rang to ask me to go in as she had bad news this afternoon
4weeks ago she had polyps taken from her womb and tests showed Cancer cells , She is having a full hysterectomy next Thursday
Thankfully they think it’s contained , I had the same thing and had a Hysterectomy when I was 36 so she wanted to know what it was like .
Things have changed so much since then now it’s done by keyhole surgery so not much I could tell her apart from I felt so well after recovery time and best thing that happened to me .
WG it’s good to get all this sort of stuff sorted , how is DS today ?
Gem good to hear your sister is ok , we haven’t much of the wind just the rain at the minute ,

Gem - Plant has done it. Us late risers do get our chance to join in some days. Did you enjoy the fish and chips?
Oma - your poor neighbour. I'm sure she is very anxious, but hopefully the hysterectomy will be all that's needed, and she'll soon be feeling better.
WeeGranny - well done for getting on with all those phone calls. Isn't it frustrating when you have to go through those dreadful "Press 1 for this, 2 for that" etc and then end up having to hang on for ages."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. Good morning all.
A very dark wet miserable day outside.
Yes we enjoyed the fish and chips Daisy! We hadn't had them for ages. Our fish shop does a light bite meal which is a small portion of fish and chips, so we usually get those.
Oma, I hope all goes well for your neighbour.
Thanks for the advent calendar reminder Nan2.
This morning I am going to see my friend T for coffee and to take his Christmas card. I hope I can park somewhere near the house in this rain!
This afternoon I am going to watch GS2 in his sheep role I will park at DD's and we will go over to school in her car.
When I told GS1 that his cousin was to play a sheep in the nativity he was delighted. He said GS2 would love that, would be so cute and would I get video of him! He then warned me about not posting it to social media

Good morning everyone. It's not as bad as Nanto's graphic here this morning, but it's damp and dull.
Oma - some days I think the weather puts you off doing anything. I hate these dull, dark days. My mother used to call them the dark days before Christmas! I bet Storm will keep you entertained today.
I want to get some washing done this morning, then it's dog training this afternoon.

Gem, our posts crossed.
I hope you don't have to walk far in the rain. I'm sure GS2 will be the best sheep ever, but how thoughtful of your GS1 to say don't post the video on social media. I hope you enjoy the nativity.
Lite bite fish and chips is a great idea - our chip shop portions are huge. But yummy."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "
