    Been a busy morning.
Got the gardening done, then i had a shower.
Washed a load of darks and got them out on the line.
Dad came round so we sat chatting with him in the garden. Tea and cake was served.

Oma, hope you get some relief from the thrush soon.

Lizzie, hope you enjoy being back at aqua.

Daisy, enjoy your day with GD.

      Blood tests tomorrow afternoon
Nurse is convinced one of my Diabetic drugs that I haven't been on so long is the cause , apparently they are notorious for causing it ,
Plus I am struggling with my sugar levels so those two combined are a problem .

They did say I may have to go on Insulin at some point if drugs don't work I have a feeling it may happen sooner than later .
      We will see

Still nothing in our local papers or news about the body , It must be suspicious or they cant locate the family , so strange

Oma, I hope you get settled with the medicine, and, very strange that all is being kept quiet about the body!

Enfys it was very hot here too!
It does sound as though the diabetic drug may well be the problem, Oma.
Nan2, I'm sure it was a nice break for your FIL to come round for tea and cake.

GD was fine at school, I have posted on that thread.
GS2 was good, as usual. We took our lunch to a little farm and playground 15 minutes drive away. Grandma had to feed the goats and sheep with the bag of food we bought as GS didn't want them eating off his hand
He very much enjoyed the sandpit and the two bouncy castles.

OH got back just after we did.

Enfys, it has been very warm today. Even the dogs stayed indoors most of the time. You are definitely better resting indoors when it makes you feel like that.

Oma - let's hope the nurse is right and you just need to change the drugs and things will settle down. I'm sure you don't want to go on insulin if you can help it.

Nanto - I be it did your Dad a power of good to come round for tea, cakes and a chat in the garden. Was he ok going back home?

Gem - you had a lovely day with GS2, although I had to smile at him not wanting the animals to feed off his hand. Two bouncy castles - fantastic. Did S enjoy the golf?

We've had a nice day with GD2. She was doing some homework this morning - I thought she'd left it unusually late for her, but in fact she'd written it all and was copying it up neatly, bless her! Then we did some painting, which she enjoyed - and so did I. I just painted the sky in on a new painting, I didn't want to get absorbed by working on one that's nearly finished. The dogs wore themselves out in the heat and at one point were sleeping like two bookends, head to head!

OH has his hospital appointment tomorrow morning. I hope he doesn't have to wait too long.

                    Another warm day forecast.

Hubby is out with his pal this morning,i'm going to dad's to clean the windows and wash the doors.

Daisy, pleased you and GD had such a lovely day.
Dad uses his invalid buggy for getting about.
                    Hope OH's appointment goes well.

Cottage pie for dinner today. Took it out of the freezer last night.

                    Have a good day ladies.

Good morning Nanto / Ladies .

Nanto at least FIL can get about in his buggy , it will have been a good change for him .

Gem I can imagine its ok for Grandma to be slobbered but not him hahaha
                      Did S win ?

Daisy isn't it nice when they are interested in school work and making an impression , then they grow up and some don't care anymore ,
GD will not be one of those she sounds to proud of her work ,
GS1 is mostly like her but GS2 couldn't care less ,
GD is methodical everything has to be done and done right, she hates if she has to cross anything out as it messes up her work

Got man coming to Service the stair lift at 8.30 and my blood tests at 4pm not sure what is in between ,
Its a lovely morning I have put a dress on
Hope J isn't at hospital long Daisy xx

                        Good morning everyone.
                        Sun coming out here already

I hope all goes smoothly for your OH Daisy.
I bet your FIL has some independence with the mobility scooter Nan2. We got my dad one, but I'm not sure if he wasn't confident or mum didn't want him going on it. It went back anyway.

GS1 from school today. I am waiting to hear where his new pick up point will be!
                        Golf again for OH.

                        Have a good day.

Oma, GS2 is a very cautious child and will not do anything he doesn't think is safe. SO despite 3 year old little girl feeding animals from her hand, and me assuring him it was just a soft tickly feeling, no way was he taking part. He just wanted to throw the food at them, which is not the idea
No golf win for OH over the weekend.

Good morning one and all. Just a very quick 'hello' from me before we set off for the hospital. We're going a bit early because parking is such a nightmare, but hopefully OH won't have to wait too long.

                            See you later.

Good morning, I have missed a few posts so will try and catch up, I enjoyed aqua yesterday, our instructor is on holiday and another young man did the lesson, very good as well. We were busy with weights under water so I felt my shoulders in bed but they are fine now, then, I have actually been to the gym to sign in for the winter months! Starting October 1st.

Daisy, good luck at the hospital.

Nan, you FIL does well to get out and about on his buggy.

Gem, the girls always loved to go to the childrens farm to feed the animals, they still talk about it.

It was very busy with the coffee morning yesterday, a few of the handwork ladies were there as well so more to chat about. A neighbour of mine knits a lot, I mean a lot, her DS2 moved to Seattle 3 years ago, leaving a son and daughter back here. They have just been visiting for 3 weeks, the GD is only 10 years old. The neighbour knitted clothes for her favourite teddy, all in the colours of the American flag, down to the pants and a face mask, it must have been so fiddly to make.

I want to go for a bike ride but I have sold Dr Martens for GD2, never worn them at all, they asked me to see if I could sell them and I have so I have to take the parcel to the depot.

Oma, it is a lovely morning again here, deciding which way to go on the bike this morning.

Daisy, I hope the hospital visit goes well so you can get back and enjoy the sunshine.

Gemini, children can be so different, some like to get their hands into everything. Good luck with the school pick-up

Nanto, how is your Fil, is he managing to cope with your help?

Oma, hope the blood tests go okay, I suppose it will be some days before you get the result.

I have (very unusual for me) to have an almost empty calendar, whereas next week is looking quite busy. I would like to do something nice on this lovely sunny day, I spent yesterday mainly indoors with GD1 and baby H. GD is back to work today, I hope it all goes well for her. Her Mil is picking H up, she is looking after her two days a week, her daddy has most Weds off but my DD will step in Weds if needed but she is already looking after GGD1 on Weds. Fingers crossed for GD, she is quite anxious about the situation. I wish I was able to help out, my days looking after babies are no more.
