It's late, and I'm tired, so please forgive me for not commenting on your posts. We had a lovely walk this afternoon and both dogs travelled happily in the back of my car to and from our starting point. But Eva has hurt both front paws - one has a slight cut on the pad, but she won't let me look at the other. Hopefully a good sleep will put it right. I've just finished my French homework for tomorrow's class. I've had 2 weeks to do this and leave it until the last minute! You think I'd know better, wouldn't you!

B off to his Mams this morning I have the dog so I will be staying in and we have parcels coming .

Bit of a panic last night , we all tried to ring MIL and got no answer , by 9pm B was ready to go over but rang his sister first ,
she said she had seen her on the morning but was out and didn't know .
MIL never goes out at night , M was in a panic he lives 1 hour away B was starting to panic got his coat on then his sister rang back , she had rang MIL's next door neighbour and MIL was in her house chatting

We were angry as she never takes her Mobil with her and even if she does its never turned on

Its a nice day so far .

Library afternoon for me. No other plans today. I have newsletters to deliver again before November 8th. I am free tomorrow, so I think I will do some then and some on Friday morning. Wednesday afternoons can be all on my feet now, and I find if I have done much during the morning my back aches terribly when I am at the library.

Gem do you not have a chair to sit on ? it can be a long day when your not used to standing so long , somehow walking around is easier ,
you may have to rest tomorrow and do the newsletters on Friday .xx

Good morning, sunny now but I rode through cold mist on my way to Delft. I was early to had the test and I was home before I should have been there.

I still have a headache from the sinus so hoping it is just that. I got hat knitted yesterday, I should have worn it this morning, I want to get headband knitted today then will start a cardigan for next summer, it is DK cotton, I have had it a while but doubt if there is enough for what I want, I saw a pattern on a site yesterday, done with 2 colours so I will keep that in my mind. I will see how it goes with my finger though.

Oma, you would all be worried about MIL.

Sunny here atm, I am meeting a friend for lunch today, not sure if we will use Waitrose, we are meeting there or we might decide to go to a Hilton hotel that has just been built next door to Waitrose. We meet there because it is convenient for both of us and there is a car park.
I made Christmas puddings, for the last time, yesterday. Now we have vegetarians in the family I have made two small ones with vegetarian suet and two with original suet, It is my mother’s recipe and usually very good but family seem to want other types of puddings on Christmas Day.

Morning one and all.
Sorry I haven't been around these past few weeks. As you know I am battling a few deamons so please forgive my rather random updates.

Weather has turned definitely colder and we aren't looking forward to the rising of our gas and electricity bills as this bungalow is harder to keep warm compared to our previous property.
We have put draft excluders on the front door and on the one cupboard door where the meter lives. The previous owner must have taken a knife to the bottom of the door and hacked at it haphazardly. The draft excluder has made the door look a lot tider.

On Monday we went to Home Bargains to buy some sunflower seeds for the bird feeder ....... I managed to spend over £40



Oma what a panic with your MIL, good that she was ok though.
Dad used to panic me on several occasions because he wouldn't put the receiver back on the phone correctly so we used to have to go into his flat fearing the worse but he was usually fast asleep in his chair not realising what the problem was.

I have just got a message that my test was negative, I expected that result, it is my sinus that it blocked, now hope the spray works.

Oma, dad never switches his mobile on either.
To be honest ,i bet he doesn't take it with him every time he goes out.

I went to the bungalow this morning,to let workmen in.
They are laying all the flooring today. Hubby popped down later,to see how they were getting on.
We've spent more time there than BIL and SIL.
Moving in day tomorrow.
