Well we got them moved into the bungalow.
My sister in law(not the one living in the bungalow) and me polished, cleaned and washed furniture as the removal men brought it in.
Cleaned the windows and window frames.
Both of our hubby's were annoyed because the SIL whose bungalow it is did nothing.
My hubby said when is she going to get off her fat a*** and do something.
I saw her sister today, and she told me the house they are leaving is filthy.
Hubby said to me don't you dare offer to go and clean it.

Good morning, Nanto, your husband is right, don't you dare go and clean! Some people are like that, lazy and not bothered to do cleaning etc. The new house will be the same, your DH was right, she needs to get off her fat ****!

Good morning everyone. It’s frosty here as well, but the sun’s shining.

Nanto we we are in shed building duty as well, at DS1s. He was hoping to paint it first, but it won’t dry in this weather so I think that’s a job for another day.

We we may be back home tonight but if not tomorrow afternoon. I’ll look forward to catching up with everyone’s news then.

            Good morning everyone.
Nan2, it is good news about your BIL.

School run for me later. GD then GS2. I think they are going to a fireworks display tonight. It is over their way though so I don't think we will bother.
Our neighbours will be home from their week away later. Their cat will be glad, she has missed her 'dad'.
Chilly this morning, a slight frost, but the sun is coming out.

            Happy Friday everyone.

Lovely sunshine here after an overnight frost, I am planning to go to the tip and pick up a few bits from Waitrose on the way back. I was so tired yesterday after cleaning the bathrooms followed by a game of bowls (I didn’t have a good game), I decided to sleep until I woke up and that was 9am. I just kept going from job to job yesterday, do you all have days like that? I tired my body and brain. I hope to have a lovely slow day today. I now have 6 small Christmas puddings and do not know who will eat them.
My sister is still in hospital, so boring for her, no television or radio, she loves her television, watches all the sport. Her Dil went to see her yesterday and phoned me to say she is very unhappy and bored, looking very frail as she is not eating much. They’re is no way she can go home without careers.

Daisy at least the weather is being kind for your shed building. I hope you DS is keeping well.

Nanto, keep away from that bungalow, you need some me time now. Amazing how some people can just sit and watch others doing their work. Pleased to hear Bil is looking better.

Gem I know what you mean we get tense when we take MIL out you just don't know what mood she will be in

Plant, when I am your age I don't intend to go from job to job! Keep busy but not overdo it is the key I would think. A bit of a lie in and slower day today is a good idea
It's a pity your sister can't have access to a TV. In our hospital you can pay per day for one.

Evening All! Another day at the hospital, this time for a check up to see how the detached retina has healed. Thankfully all seems to be fine and he doesn't need to go back unless he develops any problems. How they managed to see the back of his eyes I do not know. he kept moving his head and taking it off the chin rest. I'm afraid that I let them get on with it, he wouldn't listen to me, but he did with a couple of the nurses. Back to home in time for lunch, fish and chips, but hardly ate any and by the time I left, he was back in bed looking exhausted. DS went in about an hour ago and he was still asleep! Another appointment on Monday, but it's in the afternoon rather than first thing in the morning.

Very cold and frosty this morning. I'd left the car out because of my early start and had to sit and wait for the windscreen to defrost! Beautiful sunny day though. Up again tomorrow at sparrow's f*** to take DS to airport. He's going back for a few weeks and I think he's coming back here again before Christmas. It'll be strange being on my own for a while.

I've booked myself a little cottage in Suffolk for a few days at the end of the month. Just need to get away and have a change of scenery.

Hope that those busy busy people have had amore relaxing day today! No more house cleaning Nanto!! Glad your BiL is recovering well too. Hope your Sister is able to get a care plan in place before too long Plant.

Have a good evening ladies.....hope fireworks aren't too disturbing. xx

Wow , who knew that a tennis club, which backs on to our back garden would have such a noisy firework display.?
I went to 'use' the bathroom and had the fright of my life
Just got myself 'settled ' and it was as if all hell had broken loose. I' ll tell you trying not to move too quickly when you have a bad back is quite an achievement !
I thought I was being shot at !

WeeGranny, a little cottage in Surrey sounds wonderful, it will do you the world of good.

Gosh Oma 28 years is a long time in one job these days. What are your DD plans for the future
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

                              Good morning everyone.

Gosh Mimi, that must have been a loud firework display! We heard quite a few near us.
WG, the break is a really good idea.
Did you get the shed up Daisy?

This afternoon OH and I are taking my mum to the cafe we have taken her to twice before. This time it is to meet up with her oldest friend and her DD. I have put the DD fully in the picture as to how it will be with mum, and she will warn her mum. It will be lovely for them to see each other and I hope not to distressing for either of them.
We have decided to go to the firework display with the rest of the family tonight. DD2 suggested we just go to their house after taking mum back, until time to go to the display. We didn't want to drive back over there again in the evening, after collecting and taking mum back. Staying at DD's makes it doable.

Yesterday DD2 invited us for Christmas Day, which makes me very happy. As she lives in the same village as mum's care home, it works well as I would be visiting her for part of the day anyway.

I hope everyone has a good day, with not too many noisy fireworks tonight!

Lovely for you to be invited for Christmas dinner.

One of the neighbours had some topping fireworks last night.
Only seen them like that at displays.

Mimi, sorry you were startled mid flow by a firework.
