Nanto - thank you for the pretty fairy, and the sweet message.

GD1 is feeling very poorly today - not well enough to come here or even for me to go over there. She has these very bad days from time to time and there doesn't seem to be any pattern or particular cause for them. Bless her she was worried I might be hurt/offended. I'm going on Thursday or Friday instead though - always provided she's feeling better.

So I'm having a day catching up with housework - getting the spare room ready for visitors, lots of activity with the yellow fluffy thing and the sucky up thing. The sun's shining and the garden calls, but I'm determined!!

Gem - I hope everything is going well at DD3's.

Plant - poor Mini. At least as Oma says, it's just one tyre, nothing major.

Oma - I'm sure the plants will look lovely. Don't overtire yourself though.

Oh poor GD Daisy and how sweet she is feeling poorly but still thought of you , what a sensitive little girl .

Went to Garden centre bought some plants including a lovely Poppy and some little Box Hedges to go around a bush in the bottom boarder ,
There is a farm shop there so we treated ourselves to some lovely Lamb chops for tea ,

Called in DDs picked up my carpet cleaner and had a quick cuppa with her .

Came home and found the stair lift wasn’t working , rang the company and they were here within a hour ,

Then had lunch , just finished when my elderly neighbour came up , it’s her Birthday today so came to say thank you for her card ,
Had another cup of tea and a chat , by then I was swimming in tea 😁,

She went and I got the plants planted up.
Fine getting down to plant a bit of a Bugger getting up again 😱🤪

Having 5 minutes then I will go out and hoover the grass tidy it up ,
My Lilies are blooming already it seems early this year or is it my imagination?

Hallo everyone, I seem to be running in 5th gear at the moment!!! Daisy, sweet of your GD, I do hope she is soon feeling better.

Oma, I am the same as you, I can get down but hell on earth getting up again, I am going to try a new class on Friday, it is called "moving better" I have asked if we have to get up from the floor!!!!!

Gem, I hope that the house move went well for DD3.

I have been to Rotterdam, booked a roof walk again, they have already sold 125,000 tickets and are hoping they get permission to stay a while longer. It is very popular and well worth seeing. I had a walk round Rotterdam, I like Rotterdam.
There were lots of football? supporters walking round in groups, I couldn't get close enough to read what the badge's said, when I met a young man I asked what they were there from, I know less about football then you Oma, Wales is playing here tonight!

Did you read that the Stones concert was cancelled in Amsterdam last night? Mick has tested positive for corona.

Lizzie - I read somewhere that Mick had tested positive for Covid, but didn't realise they had a concert! There will be a lot of disappointed fans, but hopefully they will restage the concert at a later date.

Win or lose, there will be a few Welsh voice choirs around this evening.

The roof walks are amazing - I loved the photos of them.

Oma - that was good service from the stair lift company. I hope you haven't overdone it in the garden. I think this is a bit early for lilies.

Gem - I hope everyone in your family is now relaxing after such a busy day.

I've had a very productive day - spare bedroom spotless and bed made up. Our bedroom and bathroom cleaned, lots of hoovering done, upstairs windows cleaned, all the ironing done and put away, bread made, so time I got something to eat and perhaps is teensy, tiny glass of wine.

I do hope Enfys has had a good birthday. xx

When I get down I have to shuffle around on my bum I can’t kneel I have a displaced knee cap , it’s fine most of time as long as I don’t kneel , trouble is if I’m in the house I have to bum shuffle to the sofa or such like to heave myself up on 😂😂😂

Good Wednesday morning everyone. The sun is shining and there's talk of temperatures in the low to mid-20s here in the south. Dog training will be hot this afternoon - the hall has a tin roof and very little ventilation. The Council's suggestion of getting a through draught by leaving front and back doors open doesn't really help when you've got a roomful of off-lead dogs!

There are some entertaining pictures of us grannies getting up off the floor if we kneel or sit on it! I risked kneeling down twice yesterday and was very careful how I got up again after several weeks of a pulled muscle in my leg! I like the sound of Lizzie's "Moving Better" class.

I need to get some washing in and then I'm sure OH will want to show me his new car - it was dark and we were both too tired last night.

Daisy, I'm so sorry that your GD wasn't having such a good day. What a sweet caring girl to be concerned that you may be upset. I hope she is soon feeling well enough for a visit.

Well that was a long day yesterday! Cat and GS!
Good to get to see the new house when we delivered the cat It is lovely, and nicer and bigger than they remembered!.
A lot of help will be needed to put things away, considering DD"s stage of pregnancy. I think there are helpers going over today.

Aqua aerobics for me this morning and a trip to a garden centre this afternoon with OH.

I slept fairly well last night didn’t wake till just after 4 but didn’t get up , B did but I lay another hour

Good Morning everyone,what a difficult couple of days I have had trying to log on the system just wouldn't let me in for some strange reason all sorted now,must have gremlins somewhere.

To day I am going with DD to Dunelm she is up for buying new bedroom curtains for the front two bedrooms and Dunelm have a really good sale on at the minute she has seen some she likes and they have them in stock which is amazing as usually they have them in one size and not the other but they have both sizes available so she has ordered click & collect lets see if I can go in there and
not buy anything . I keep getting "Error" Invalid Server Response will close and try later x

GS2 has recently started karate at the club his dad and sister go to and his dad teaches.

Plant I am jealous of you having a JL since ours closed! We can still buy online of course but miss the store.

I came home today with beautiful flowers. Some pale pink roses and a bunch of lilac coloured stocks.
There is a York Against Cancer charity shop in the same building as the pool. The nearby M&S give them flowers which they can't sell and to buy them you give a donation in the shop. My friend JT and I looked through and both bought some. Some bunches (like the opened tulips) wouldn't last long but others would certainly last a few days. Once I had removed all the guard petals the roses look fine and the stocks are perfect too.
