Oma pleased you are feeling a bit better. Shame about not seeing MIL on her birthday.
Gem glad you are all having a good time.
Garden duties are done. Just put a pizza in for dinner. Then I'm going to have a refreshing shower.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Well I was a day out in my plans! It's Monday we have the long day. Monday isn't a bank holiday here.
Tomorrow is a bit less hectic 😊 A wander around the shops at Disney Springs, lunch at Rainforest Cafe and over to Epcot again for fireworks and a couple of rides.
Well done to OH Nan2!

Gem - I think it's good your long day at Universal isn't until Monday, and since it's not a Bank Holiday there perhaps the queues won't be too long (faint hope, I know!). The express pass at $100 is bad enough, but $300!!! They are really pushing their luck. If nobody bought them they'd soon bring the price down!
I am quite surprised GS2 is choosing the gentlest rides. You know, with hindsight, perhaps having to wait 2 years wasn't so bad. He may have been more timid about the rides back then.
Nanto - well done to your OH - it's one thing you probably don't mind him beating you at - provided it's even shares!

Daisy, we have avoided the main parks for the Easter weekend, but decided we could brave one later in the day tomorrow, for fireworks and hopefully a couple of rides.
Everyone has been surprised by GS2's reaction, we are having to go very gently with him. I agree, it's a good thing he didn't come aged 4.
He's loved today, and can now swim with just his armbands and no foam woggle. He was the last in his swimming class to abandon the security of 2 methods, and was reluctant to try. He did for us today and is now confident with just the arm bands. Very proud of himself and can't wait to show daddy
Hopefully tomorrow he won't be scared by the Rainforest Cafe ( booked mainly with him in mind!!) We have talked through the going dark and thunder bit, and about it all being pretend, so fingers crossed!
I hope the others have had a good day. We will hear all about it tonight I'm sure.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning Nanto / ladies a lovely Easter Sunday morning.
Nanto we were supposed to go out for family lunch today and I intended having Lamb for a change but that’s out the window ,
We do have a leg of Lamb in the freezer for another day though .
Had a fairly decent night only coughed 3 times , had a shower and I would say apart from blocked sinus and incredibly fatigued Im ok .
Gem hope GS2 isn’t scared of the Cafe maybe should have had earphones or earmuffs to muffle the thunder part for him .
I think it’s not knowing where the noise comes from but at least your telling him it’s pretend so he knows it’s not real thunder .
Tell him well done I can’t even swim with arm bands on , it’s not a race as long as he builds up his confidence and has fun clever boy xx
How are we all ?
Has anyone have plans for today , if you have I hope you have a lovely day xxx
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, very pleased to hear you are on the mend but take it slowly and don’t fight your body. I said to my DD that I have only just got my energy back.
Gemin, you are having fun, good news about GS and his swimming.
Nanto, congratulations to your OH, that was a good win.
GS2 and his partner are arriving today, Sil is cooking a BBQ, that is usually a lot of work for the person in the kitchen whilst the man sends for the food clutching a glass of beer chatting to another male. ~It looks like being a lovely sunny day. I would like to clean out my sun room but I need help with clearing the furniture out first. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good Easter Sunday morning everyone. The sun is shining here - I hope it is for you, as well.
Gem - it's interesting that GS2 is being so cautious about the rides etc in the theme parks. But I suspect he's a very clever little boy and has a keen perception of danger, so perhaps it's hard for him at the moment to feel the difference between 'safe' thrills and unsafe events. Well done to him on his swimming - that's a great leap forward.
Nanto - thank you for the Easter egg this morning. Enjoy your lamb dinner. I think we're likely to end up with something like cottage pie tonight. I didn't really plan very well for Easter food.
Oma - I'm so pleased your cough is easing. Are your sinuses painful? It's a strange tiredness, isn't it! I hope your MIL has a nice birthday, even though you can't go out for lunch.
We haven't got any firm plans for today. We got quite a few jobs done in the garden yesterday, so we'll probably carry on and tick a few more off today. At some point we'll pop over to see the GDs and give them their Easter eggs.

Good morning and Happy Easter Sunday everyone.
I hope you all enjoy your day.
Oma, I was following the length of positive results avidly before our holiday, for fear of catching and still being positive. 10 days seemed to be a common length of time. Some people were less days but unless they had been regularly testing they wouldn't know if they were positive for a few days before. I hope you test negative soon. Sinus pain is no fun xx
I think your suggestion of GS2 wearing his earphones is a good one
Daisy, since having to be taken out of the 3D show of Its Tough to be a Bug in Animal Kingdom ( along with many other scared little ones!) he expects special effects to be thrown at him at any moment! Poor child. He won't even run under our lawn sprinkler, which the other two love, so he obviously dislikes water unless it's in a pool or bath!
He can show off his swimming this morning, and we have some Easter chocolate for them.
We will probably head off mid morning.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Oma, pleased to hear you are getting better.
Had a busy morning.I've been getting the conservatory summer ready.
A few weeks ago,we bought a bigger tv for in there, although the other one was big enough.
We do love to spend time in the conservatory in the summer.
Hubby been busy doing his jobs in the garden.
When dad died we brought the arbour from his garden. I think hubby wants to make a start on it.
It's been a bit neglected,so it needs painting.
Anyway,went the day well.Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Oma - that blocked nose feeling is horrible. You mustn't do any bending down - it won't help your sinuses. When I was testing to see if I had stopped being positive the red line got paler for about 3 days before disappearing. I don't know if it's the same of most people.
Plant - Your family barbecue chef must have trained in the same school of barbecue-ing as my OH!! I hope you've had a lovely day though, and get your sunroom sorted out soon.
Nanto - I've always wanted a conservatory, and it must be a nice feeling getting it ready for lots of use in the summer. What a lovely idea to reinstate your FIL's arbour in your garden. It will be such a lovely way of remembering him, and well as being lovely in its own right.
Gem - poor GS2. He's not too keen on scary surprises - wise lad. I hope he's had a wonderful day today - you, too, of course. I hope everything went smoothly for him.
We've had a lovely day, although I don't know where the time went! We went to take the GDs their Easter eggs just before lunch. They were pleased with their eggs, and chocolate bunnies and money to spend or save. Eva and Cooper had great fun in the garden and tired each other out, and we had a chance to spend a bit of time with DS2 and DIL2 as well. After lunch, I sat in the garden reading for a while, while OH sorted out part of the garage and put some stuff out for the tip run tomorrow. I did some gardening as well, and gave the front garden a good soaking. It's been a little bit cooler today, but still warm enough not to need a cardi or jumper!
I'm wondering how all the poorly ones are today? I hope you're feeling better and have been able to enjoy some sun. xx

Good morning everyone, this is a posting from yesterday.
Good morning and a Happy Easter. Nanto, if I ever get to the UK again I will call in at yours for Sunday lunch!!!!!
Gem, GS2 will soon be able to swim, about the rides though, maybe he just doesn't like them. A girl used to live here in the flat, her brother was DS2 friend, come New Year she hibernated, she just couldn't stand the fireworks etc, I spoke to her at her mum's cremation and she said she has never got used to them or fairground rides etc.
I am going to DS soon for brunch.
My neighbour came on Friday with a huge bunch of tulips for me, they are really nice.
Sorry, I forgot to post this! I have just come home, the brunch was very good, nice all being together as a family. Very warm in the garden though. (For me).
Oma, the lady that did the test on Friday for my hearing thinks it is all from my sinus's, I hope she is right.
