Off to DD1's to get the decking planks sawn to size this morning as that is the least likely time of rain. I'm not sure if DD and GS will be in, but we don't need access to the house as they have an outside socket and will leave the side gate unlocked. It would be nice to see them but I think they have plans.

I have had a quick whip around the house cleaned the bathroom after we had our showers ,
put the towels in to wash and did the ironing I left from yesterday .

Its DD and Sil's Wedding Anniversary today we will pop down later to see them , I think SIL is playing Golf today then they out for a meal

Oma, OH rarely golfs on a Sunday. Tuesday and Thursday are her regular days, but it can be any day.
Once the decking is cut we need to find a Man With a Van to transport it. I'm sure nothing will start until after Wimbledon though!

No plans here today, not long up due to a dear neighbours having a very loud party celebrating the football success. I suppose they will have the big screen for their Wed match and again next weekend if England get through

Oma, to answer your question, no I do not have a handover, I was very cautious with my drink. I shall be eating mainly veg. Today, I had a very starch filled day yesterday. My blinis went very quickly.

Good morning, Oma, I have just cycled 30kms and I must say it does help my leg. Rain forecast later but it was yesterday and didn't fall here.

Plant, I am pleased the wedding went well and it stayed dry for it. I have noisy neighbours, they are fine when they are together but oh dear, when the youngest daughter and family come it is bedlam!

We are very worried, our cat (well my GD1.s cat) has been missing for two days. He doesn’t usually wander, just into the woods. It has been very noisy here with our neighbours partying and he would have usually turned up when we had the guests for the wedding. Our GS was here and he loves to show off to him. My GD has gone off with her OH and baby H on holiday, she has been here calling him, I know she will be worried about him. Sil is going to have a look for him. They have put as notice on the local website.

We have just had a huge rain storm , so heavy it flooded the garden and knocked the TV signal off ,
Never had rain that hard for a while , we are on the top of a slight incline but the drains were still bubbling at the end of our drive they couldn't cope .

Not sure if its the last , its stopped now but its still dark

I see some parts of Holland have had the same Oma, it is still dry here though. I have seen photo's of flooded streets.

Plant, as for the cat, I hope it returns, my nephews daughter, they live in Alnwick, she has mother and daughter cats and they have both vanished.
