    Good morning Nan2, Lizzie, ladies,

Very wet here. OH thought the golf course may be shut but it's not. No rain at the moment but lots of standing water.

Last night I cancelled my reflexology for this morning as you are not supposed to have it if you have any sort of fever. I'm not sure I do, but as I am on antibiotics and don't feel 100% I am erring on the side of caution. I get on really well with my reflexologist and we have a good chat, and I probably won't feel up to that this morning.
I have GS1 to collect from school and we need a small amount of shopping, apart from that I'm having a restful day. My gum is very painful just now, but it's at it's worst when I have been lying on the cheek, and I have just taken my painkillers so they haven't kicked in yet .

Hoping Oma's GS is not feeling poorly.

    Have a good Tuesday everyone.

Gem, I do hope your jaw soon heals, are you able to eat? I have just cleaned my balcony, never again will I put purple flowers (verbena) in the hanging baskets, when it is damp and they lose their flowers my balcony is purple!

Yes I can eat but softish foods and slowly to keep everything from that side as much as possible!
The flowers sound pretty but messy!

Sil took Milo to the vets to be cremated, he looked quite shattered himself. He went to fetch Milo just as the children were coming out of school opposite, the lady found Sil something to cover Milo, he’d was able to bring him back through the woods. Sil said he must have died a good 24 hours before. DD said no more cats. GD posted on FB letting her friends know and she said “good-bye my feisty friend”

I have nothing on the calendar today, the rest of the week looks busy so I am going to have a me day, I can’t decide whether to have lunch in my favourite cafe or feed the ducks on the pond. Could do both.

Sorry to hear your GS1 has the virus Oma, I hope he will not be too poorly. Pleased to read GS2 did phone you, he is old enough to make those decisions for himself now. Not much longer before he will turn up on your doorstep I feel.

A sad week for your family Plant. Treat yourself to lunch in the cafe.
I heard from Oma that her GS is not too well, she was out getting some painkillers for him. Hopefully he will soon feel a lot better.
Golf is cancelled after a torrential downpour here. Some of the ladies are meeting for coffee in the Clubhouse instead.
I will pop out to do our shopping soon.

              Good morning ladies ,
AS Gem said I have been out getting Beecham's all in one liquid for GS1 its the only thing he will take ,
He isn't feeling great and sleeping a lot but that's no bad thing .
I put the packet on the door step and knocked then stepped back , Storm came to the window then ran to the door , You could see the puzzlement on his face why I wasn't going in '

Gem it sounds like when I had that infection when I had my tooth out ,5 weeks it hurt .
I really feel for you , will you be ok going shopping ? I hope it doesn't make it worse all the walking around ,
S wont get any Golf done this week by looks of forecast

Plant poor Milo , I can understand your DD saying no more cats its so heart breaking when they go

Lizzie we have lots of Purple Verbena in our boarders the rain has drowned them I am hoping when they dry out and the sun comes back they will stand up again

While I was out we called into Sainsburys , I had a browse through the clothes and bought a nice pale lemon cotton top and a lemon Cardigan , so soft ,
Lemon is a colour I never go for but it caught my eye and it does look nice on ,

I never bought yellow or lemon for my DD when she was little she had very dark olive skin and yellow made her look sallow and jaundice ,
so it sort of rubbed off on me and I never bought it for myself either
Im not fat just 6ft too small

                Good Morning to everyone,
Its been a funny few days I just haven't had time to sit and relax for a few days,
I went to the Hospital for eye scans and am waiting results to come through it should be today or tomorrow, the blurred vision is causing me to stay away from my laptop.
Saturday was DDs party at her partners house all went well and it was so nice to see all her team from work came to celebrate which was lovely as it was quite a way for them to travel over the water to Liverpool.
Yesterday on her actual birthday me DD her partner and DGD went to Gino d'Campo's for a special lunch .
Plant so sad to hear about Milo the family must be devastated .
Gems can you remember if your eyes where really blurred before you had the treatment it is really bothering me I need to have everything enlarged so I can read threads etc,I can't even manage the daily paper at the moment.
                Keep Calm,You're Fabulous

Oma, I have cut all the flowers off!!! When it has stopped raining and blowing they will be allowed to grow again.

Don't worry Oma, I just popped to the local Sainsburys for a handful of things we needed. OH and I may go to Aldi for a bigger shop tomorrow when I have had a full days antibiotics.
Thursday's forecast here is good (at the moment) , so OH may get her away golf competition in!

Glamma, it was several years ago (they said I was very young for cataracts!) so I'm not sure, but yes I do think it was blurry and immediately improved after the treatment. Fingers crossed things will be much better for you soon.

                      Good morning everyone.

                      I'm sorry I didn't read all yesterday's posts!

Oma I'm so glad GS2 rang you. He's growing up, isn't he. I do hope GS1 is soon better, poor lad. Your lemon top and cardigan sounds pretty. It's funny how colour affects us. My mum loved olive greens and browns and they suited her, but they look awful on me - if I was allowed to choose I'd always go for bright blues, strong pinks etc, which are colours I still wear most of the time.

Lizzie - thanks goodness the pain in your leg can be treated. Your physio sounds wonderful. What dreadful weather. It's surprising how much colour is in some flower petals, but I'm sure your Verbena will soon grow again.

We had torrential rain overnight and it's on and off now - but chilly too!

Gem - oh, I'll be so glad for you when all this pain and discomfort has stopped. It's been going on such a long time, and you must be so sick of it. Having an easy day is a good idea - rest and relax as much as you can.

Glamm - how frustrating for you with your eyes. I hope you get the results and the treatment quickly. DD must have been so pleased her team came to help her celebrate her birthday, and I'm sure she loved her special lunch at Gino d'Campo's.

Nanto - thank you for bringing your friends along to say "good morning"!

We're having a quieter day today. The weather is so iffy, it makes you feel you want to stay in, but Eva needs a walk later, come what may. My SIL has said she'll come with me - I hope she's brought her wellies!

Tomorrow, we're going to OH's niece's for lunch, and then I'll have to take Eva over to DS2's for a sleepover with Cooper, as we'll be out most of Thursday - we're going up to DS1's for coffee and then we're all going out for lunch. Wednesday evening a friend has invited me and SIL round while the menfolk watch the football. My friend M is coming over to spend some time with Eva on Wednesday while we're out. We can't take her to our niece's as she has a cat.

So, all organised. Just trying to decide what to do for dinner tonight! I think it might be ham, egg and chips!

Oma, lemon or any shade of yellow is a colour i never buy.
Just never been a fan of yellow clothes.

Gem, hope the painkillers have kicked in.

GS1 has a Cat flap in his bedroom door to allow his cat to come and go during the night and not disturb him ,
The cat likes to sleep with him ,
We laughed when it was put in but this week its came in very handy ,This is how DD is feeding GS1
