Mimi as Gem said you couldn't make that farce up could you
Makes you wonder what school of common sense these people went too

Had quite a good day with MIL she was on best behaviour , Brought her here and made lunch and she really enjoyed that ,
We then went to our shopping centre and had a wander round , did some shopping in Sainsburys ,
We then went over the road to M&S food hall and managed to get her to buy some meals that were not all chips and chicken based , Fish Pie Hot Pot etc ,

Came back for a coffee then took her home she was tired by then ,
She bought me a big bunch of flowers , I was so surprised

Bought some Grapes in M&S called Tooty fruity , such a strange taste a bit like candy floss but actually lovely

Its clouded over but still very warm .

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Mimi - what a load of rubbish about it being too far to wheel your bins to the main road. Is there only pedestrian access between the main road and your house? If there's a road for vehicles I can't see why they can't get close enough to empty wheelies bins! And it's a cheek making you pay for a bin, which they won't even empty. I'd be tempted to apply for a reduction on my Council Tax bill as they aren't providing the service other residents get!! Does it say on the Council website that they collect rubbish from your property's boundary?

We don't have wheelie bins but the lorry comes into our cul de sac and we only have to put our bags out at the edge of our property. And they come every week. And 52 black bags and 52 clear (recycling) bags a year are supplied without charge, although you can buy extra. During the week we just put our black bag into an old-fashioned dustbin and keep the lid on, but I wouldn't want to leave it for 2 weeks!

Oma - how lovely to have MIL in a good mood. It must have been a lovely day out for her though, and nice of her to buy you flowers. See - she does love and appreciate you! xx

Trying to imagine candy floss grapes!

Gem - I remember those forms from when we were selling my cousin's house - there were a lot of questions we couldn't answer because we didn't know (it wasn't our house) and the solicitor said to put "don't know" or similar. Good luck with it!

      Plant - I hope you've had a lovely time with baby H.

Not long back from GD’s We went to Waitrose, did some shopping and had lunch. GD’s partner joined us for lunch in his break. All her colleagues were pleased to see her and the baby. When we go back we went for a walk then sat in the garden. I am feeling very tired now, fancy a Gin and T.

I can’t believe the sense of your council Mimi. We (well sil) have to wheel our bins up our track and onto the road but that is understandable. You must be enjoying being close to family now and not so cut off.

Oma, Mil had a lovely day, I bet she was tired.

Another beautiful morning, feels very warm already.

This morning we are going Cawthorne. it's a beautiful area.
Only about a 15/20 minute drive away.
And of course, we will go to the cafe for coffee.

Good Wednesday morning Nanto and all who drop in later. Yes, it looks promising here, too. Enjoy your outing to Cawthorne.

I've got no particular plans for today. Yesterday I surprised myself by giving both bathrooms a good spring clean, so I definitely don't need another surprise today!

We were just enjoying a glass of wine in the garden yesterday evening when our new neighbours called round to check we were ok - they' are having their drive done and it was very noisy yesterday. So we invited them in for a drink and it was lovely sitting in the garden until it got a bit chilly about 8.30. Perhaps summer IS on its way!

MIL does appreciate you sometimes Oma
                  Have a lovely morning Nan2.
Summer IS on it's way for sure Daisy!

I got most of the house selling forms completed yesterday, just a couple of things to fill in and things to photocopy and enclose.

We are going to Yorkshire Wildlife Park today, one of our favourite places. I love it at any time but as Red Pandas arrived a few days ago, it was an obvious choice for my birthday outing! It's not my birthday today, but OH is golfing tomorrow. OH's widowed golf friend is coming with us, first time there for her.

                  Have a good day everyone

Daisy, take it easy, my bathrooms will be jealous. My SR and kitchen could do with some attention but the outside beckons. I am feeling a bit tired today, my GD walked me off my feet yesterday. My DD’ s day to look after the other two today, will pop in to see them later.

Nanto, that sounds like a lovely trip for you, enjoy

Gemini, Red Pandas are very shy, I hope you get to see them, I was surprised how small they are. Enjoy your day.

Oma, good luck to J and his team, hope it will be cooler for them this evening. I am sure Storm will enjoy his extra time with you. Has B recovered from his 5 coats

I am going to a business who transfer Video to CD later. I would like this video transferred, it contains our wedding onwards. Mind I don’t know how long CD players will be available. I might call and sit by the pond and feed the ducks on the way back. It is too hot to garden, I will do some watering this evening.

                            Gem,enjoy your day out.

We had a lovely morning strolling round Cawthorne village.
There are some beautiful properties there, but most of them have very high hedges,
so you can't see them from the roads. I couldn't live in one that i couldn't see the road from.

We had a lovely day at the wildlife park. It was SO hot though, we felt as though we were at a Florida theme park! I saw my beloved red panda Only one of them but I was very glad to see that!

A lovely day out, but we are worried about our cat He went out at around 10 last night. Not unusual for a hot night and as he has a cat flap he can come back in whenever he likes. He wasn't here this morning and we couldn't find him but we hoped he was napping in neighbouring garden. We left here just after 10, leaving fresh food and water for him. We got back after 7. No sign of him and food untouched.
I have posted on the local FB group and the one for missing cats in York. He's an old boy and never strays more than a garden or two away. We have asked neighbours and they have checked sheds. I will contact the vet tomorrow if he's still not back.
