Daisy Buzz never bites me or DD just men so I think he was just being over playful grabbing my hand biting and kicking me with his hind legs but it was funny him dangling from my hem he wouldn't let go , I carried him through the house to the front door before he let go

Good morning all.
Just looked out of the window and it's misty outside, hopefully it will soon clear and we will have another nice day. I have such a lot of washing to do and I'd like to be able to hang it out instead of using the tumble dryer.
We did have have a few rumbles of thunder and very heavy rain yesterday evening.

Saturday seemed as if it was going to be the usual Saturday with not much to do but late in the morning DIL rang inviting us around to their's as they were having a BBQ . At the time there wasn't so much as one cloud in the sky but by the time we were there the sun had disappeared but that didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. GS and GD weren't there, it was just the 4 of us but it was so lovely to be there.

Oma my mum had a cat like Buzz. She would bite anyone for no reason, she just seemed to randomly take a dislike to anyone who so much as sat by her. The only person who never got bitten was mum !

Gem did you both enjoy Bulid a Bear . Several years ago we took GS to the Bulid a Bear shop in Cardiff but GS decided, after what seemed like hours waiting for him to make up his mind what one he wanted he changed his mind, he didn't want one and could he go to the Disney shop instead!

Bright out there this morning,but have had a bit of rain during the night.

Mimi, we had a few rumbles of thunder about 5pm yesterday,but it didn't rain.

Roast pork dinner today,joint is in the slow cooker.
Roast potatoes,yorkshire pudding and think i'll serve sprouts and carrots with it.

Mainly cloudy day for us, they managed to get the awning down with help from some of the GC who were still here. Everywhere was cleared and all the usual mess after a party gone by md-day. The garden showed no signs of a party. I cleaned all the spiders out of my sunroom and gave floor and windows a clean. GC put all the furniture back for me. I have been trying to download some pics, no success yet. It is GS3’s birthday today, I am going out to lunch with DS, Dil, GS4 and his partner and the birthday boy today. I need to pop around to a friend with a card, it is her birthday today. I am getting less hopeful that the wedding will go ahead, lots of rumblings from government about postponing the next phase.

Overcast atm, not sure what the weather is going to be today.

It's cloudy here but quite warm. So I'll settle for that as long as the washing dries. Mimi - where does it all come from! We seem to have loads.

Nanto - a roast pork dinner? Yummmy - you'll have us all lining up outside your house by the time it's ready. x

Oma - Buzz must have been hanging on to your skirt because he didn't want the game to end - he didn't want his playmate to leave.

Washing and gardening on the agenda for me today - the forecast says mostly cloudy so I hope it all dries, but at least it's not too hot to get a few gardening jobs done.

I have enjoyed reading about everyone's Sunday but too much to comment on

We had nice day yesterday GS2 played happily all morning, then we took him to Build A Bear where he chose a very smiley monkey. It was the cheapest BAB visit I have had! There was a 30% off everything sale, and GS insisted that a monkey needed no clothes, not even a hat. He also politely declined the carry bag which you can wear like baby sling.
GD had clothes and shoes for her bear and a carry bag. GS1 chose a fish which could of course have no clothes, but he had a folding chair bed which he could use with other bears.
GS2 I couldn't get to have anything else!! He hates dressing up so I guess she feels the same way about his toys.

We took him home and as it was SILs birthday his parents were there, plus DD and SIL 3 who had dropped GD back for sleepover. Having a family chat, hugs, and slice of birthday cake felt like the real world again
Two friends came round for cuppa and catch up in our garden later afternoon, so a very social day.

This morning the BHF are coming to mum's. I am fairly certain that as in WG's case they wont take things. We may as well go as we have booked them though. They will phone when they are half an hour away then we will hotfoot it over there.
Tonight is the quiz and my turn to set it, so I must work on that today.

Today is my Baby's Birthday she is 48 How can I possible have a child 48 ? I think its a puzzle

Also today that horrible Pink wall in my Bedroom is going , B has put the first coat of White on waiting for that to dry I think it may take at least 3 coats ,
As long as its gone that's all Im interested in .

I have just been out to get some milk and deliver a birthday card to a friend, passing the recreation ground there was a helicopter just about to take off presumably with a casualty in the playground. Hope it isn’t too serious.

Oh dear Plant, I hope they are OK.
(My dentist is directly opposite York Minster. A few years ago as I left the dentist there was huge crowd in the streets watching someone been airlifted from the roof of the Minster. I wondered about the poor casualty until later reading it had been an exercise!)

Well we went over to Mums about 10.30. BHF were due before 12 and ringing 30 minutes before. We wanted to dust the things off again and sort out more charity boxes from the garage. We did all that then ended up sitting in mum's garden and chatting for along time. Until at 1 O clock we left. We were almost home when they rung, so OH had to go back. First we dropped more stuff at the charity shop and OH grabbed a quick lunch. I sat down to have my lunch and compile tonight quiz and do a couple of other online things when C and P arrived with my birthday card. It was lovely to see them, so they stayed for a cuppa and chat.
OH got back for a chat with them, realised she had left her phone in mum's garage so had to go back a third time!!
Good news was BHF are taking most of the items Our friend is booking one those bulky items council collections for her sofa, and kindly said we can add anything else to that so that's a great help.

I've done the quiz now.
OH will be out again later as she arranges the early evening summer golf for the mentors and mentees, and there is one at 6 tonight.
