Lizzie, our corned beef pie is similar to Oma's,but i don't mis the corned beef with potato.
Pastry on the botton, then the filling and pastry on the top.
It was a big one,so enough left for tomorrow. Will serve it with mash potatoes and veg, oh and gravy.

Not looking too clever weatherwise. Very overcast. I know we had rain during the night.

Kitchen cleaning and ironing to keep me occupied, amongst other jobs.

Good morning, Nanto, and the young lady having her early morning cup of tea with the bees among the flowers. It's a bit too damp and cold to do that here! It still feels more like March than the end of May!

I'm just off to fetch Cooper over for the day - back later.

          Good morning ladies.
Miserable weather here too Nan2. It looks as though it rained a lot during the night.
I hope the doggies have a good day Daisy. I agree if feels more like March.

Dentist for me this morning. This is just a check up. When the appointment was made I thought it was to have the back tooth removed but later learned the receptionist had only made a check up one. The tooth comes out on June 29th. They seemed to think I should keep the check up appointment though. At least it has all calmed down since she treated that tooth a couple of weeks ago.

Library this afternoon. I'm hoping for a quiet afternoon to finish the book I am reading there, and have hidden in the wrong section!

          Have a good day everyone.

Sunny here atm, still very windy. No plans for today, might push the sucky thing around. Still trying to finish off the pile of washing. Oh, I have just remembered my hairdresser is due at 11am.

Gemini, hope the dental check-up goes okay and they don’t find any problems.

Oma and Daisy, enjoy your doggie day.

Nanto, love the graphic. Can I bring my ironing, I hate ironing.

All OK at the dentist (apart for the tooth which is coming out on 29th)
Still wet and miserable but OH drove me which meant she could drop me close to the dentist.
On the way back we dropped off four big boxes of stuff at out local hospice charity shop.
Time for a cuppa and a digestive now and attend to some emails.

Gem - I'm so glad all went well at the dentist - you must be very fed up of sitting in that chair! xx Naughty Gem, hiding a book in the 'wrong' section!

Oma - it's often the big "brave" dogs who don't like the rain, isn't it. Cooper and Eva are the same, although Eva doesn't mind a proper walk in the rain. They are both asleep at the moment. He 'tried it on' with the stairs but as soon as I picked up his lead he stepped into the hall perfectly ok. Funny dog.

Plant - I've got a pile of washing to do, but the weather's so changeable I'm going to leave it for now! Don't work too hard with that sucky up thing. x

How is everybody else? I'm getting really despondent about this weather. I've got tomatoes to pot on but even the greenhouse feels damp and depressing.

Two viewings of mums bungalow booked this afternoon and one tomorrow morning
We hold out no hope for the one tomorrow as it's a man in his 80s who lives four doors down from mum's. He told OH he wanted to move to that house. It really wont be suitable for him.
                    It's a good start though!

Daisy the weather is set to improve, don't despair.

Hallo, I have just been to the (prednosin) injection in my foot, very painful! My physio does the ultra sound so the doctor knows where to do the injection, it should work within 1 to 2 weeks so I am hoping it does.

The weather is better here today, not warm but the sun is out. My friend came up for coffee, she bought the rag doll cat a few months ago and is seriously thinking of finding it a new home! Yesterday she caught it, scratching her new TV! She has phoned the lady breeder and she told her it is one with a lot of energy.

Gem, that is good, a few viewings in the first week. You will be well known at the dentists by now.

Nanto, that pie sounds tasty, I have never thought to make one.

Daisy, it is strange weather, I got wet yesterday, yet again, it was cold with it.

I am going to sit with my poor foot high to rest it! I have plenty of books to read.

I got a tap ordered, it is being delivered tomorrow, I doubt if the friend has time to fit it before they go away though, I haven't heard anything about the cupboard yet so that could take a while.

Gem, glad the dental appoinment went well.
Hope you managed to finish your book.

It looks eerie outside. Very still. Looks like the calm before the storm.

Nanto - it is weird weather, isn't it! I hope you do't get another storm, though.

Lizzie - ouch - that does sound a very painful injection, but worth it if it helps. Oh dear - that kitten does sound "interesting", but I suppose in the kitten's eyes, she's just looking for the right kind of scratching post.

Gem - fingers crossed for the viewings for you mum's house. You never know with potential buyers.

I hope the injection helps you foot Lizzie.
It turned really sunny all afternoon here Nan2! Very breezy though.
Daisy there is always a flurry of interest when new property goes on the market isn't there. Two more booked in for tomorrow morning now. We just need the one to want it and offer the right price though

Yes, there is usually a flurry, but I've often found it's one of those early viewers who buy in the end.

Gemini, I hope you get an offer soon.

Mostly sunny today’s but not warm. GGC next door today, GGD1 is so funny and very very sweet. GGS arrived after school and GD1 popped in with baby H. I suggested to DD that we started a creche on a Wed. Had my hairdresser in there morning, just a trim. Tomorrow I am going on a picnic with some of my Aqua friends. One lady has a farm breeding rare breed sheep. We are going there as she has loads of room outside. fingers crossed the sun shines. Her farm is next to Tessa Dahl’s house, not far from where Roald Dahl wrote his books.
