Enjoy your bike ride Lizzie, and lots more to come.

Gemini, I hope S has enough puzzles now to keep her busy until she can get on the golf course again, hope it will not be too long.

Oma, sorry to hear about your painful back, hope it improves throughout the day, just be careful

I can hear lots of activity next door, GD's partner is clearing out the cabin. People have been very generous, they have a new bed and a new television. I bought them cutlery. They need some cooking utensils. GS2 and his partner are moving in but just for 2 weeks in March, they have to get out of their flat before they complete on the house they are buying in London. I hope by then we can see the rest of the family.

I had a good bike ride, 30kms, it was getting busy on the way home, racing cyclists do go fast, but, I have a mirror on my bike and can see them coming from behind. The cycle path goes through a golf course and I always think of you Gem!! They were all busy playing early.

Oma, take it easy with a bad back.

Oh your poor back Oma, I hope it eases soon.
C is fine so we will call there on the way to mum's for a quick chat, as they are hoping to go for a walk.
Another friend G is due this morning to drop off a jigsaw for OH and take a couple.
Yes Plant, she has plenty now, I have called a halt on Facebook
Lizzie, my OH will be SO envious of those golfers! Apparently play in small groups is allowed in Scotland, but not here. We have our fingers crossed for next month.

My Uncle is home , they found a blood clot on his Lung and Kidney and treated them with Blood thinning drugs ,
He has to go back in 4 weeks for further tests .
They said it was safer for him to recover at home but if he feels unwell to go straight back in ,
Spoke to him and he said within about 1 hour of treatment he felt so much better , so panic almost over just need to get next few days over to make sure .

Back is still hurting but im ok

Good news for your uncle. Not good news about your back.

Oma - my heart was in my mouth for you when I read your first post about your Uncle. Thank God it is treatable and he's home (the best place, I'm sure) and feeling much better already.

Let's hope you get a restful night tonight and your back feels better tomorrow. xx

Lizzie - I don't know why all cyclists don't have a mirror. I was thinking about electric cars the other day - at the moment cyclists, joggers and anyone else out on the roads can probably hear a conventional car, but electric cars are silent. You will need eyes in the back of your head, literally!

Gem - nice to hear C is feeling better. I can't see what harm it would do for golf courses to open, even the the club houses are still closed. It would make such a difference to a lot of retired people especially, and have benefits in terms of socialising safely, getting exercise and fresh air and easing anxiety caused by lockdown.

Plant - your GD1 and her partner are doing very well. They will be quite comfy in their new home. You must wake up some mornings and have to think who exactly is living in what part of which buildings! No chance to get bored at your place.

Oma, I'm relieved for you about your uncle. I hope your back is better tomorrow.
Daisy we are hoping golf course may open along with schools, or just after. It worked well last time with no club house, and playing in small groups.

Oma, I am pleased to see you uncle is home, I hope the medicine soon works and he is feeling better.

Daisy, I love my mirror on the bike, even on the shopping bike I have one, they are so handy and safe. That is true about electric cars, we have electric scooters, very popular but you can't hear those either.

A helicopter landed down in the park yesterday afternoon, a little girl had been knocked down by a car opposite here, she was taken to the hospital in critical condition so I do hope she pulls through.

Good morning, Lizzie, Nanto and all who follow. It's a wet, dark Monday morning here - never the best start to the week.

Lizzie, poor little girl. I hope she's ok.

Oma - how is your uncle today?

We're having a Cooper day. OH has to take some parcels to the post office. Other than that - it's a Groundhog Day.
