Good morning Nan2 and everyone passing by.

Nan2 and Daisy, I recently found the oven glove in the fridge, while I was cooking. I had wondered why the fridge door wasn't properly closed!
Daisy, I am fed up with it, and OH must be fed up of me going on about it! It's nothing mayor in the big scheme of things, but it does get you down.
I slept well last night anyway.

This afternoon I am going to visit my ex neighbour for coffee before collecting GS1 from school.

    Have a good day everyone.

        Good morning everyone.

What a lovely cheery graphic, Nanto - I think we're in line for more showers than sunshine today, but it's not quite so cold. I have still got the fish nuggets sitting in the freezer - I'm saving them for an 'easy' meal one night.

Gem - I beg to differ about your tooth - constant pain exhausts you and makes everything else harder and you've got enough to cope with at the moment with your mum's house - that's exhausting and emotional as well. I'm glad you slept well last night. Sending hugs. xxx I'm sure your ex-neighbour will be delighted to see you.

Oma - It's funny with food. I quite like turkey, but I did a turkey crown for DS2's birthday recently, and I didn't enjoy it at all. I prefer the brown meat and somehow the white meat on its own didn't taste right. Did B get his chips last night?

No plans for us today. it's probably too wet to do the gardening, but at least the wind's dropped, thank goodness. I may do some painting. Just off for a shower and breakfast.

Good morning, very warm and sunny at the moment, showers forecast though. I have been to the dentist and the mouth hygienist , a lovely young (they all are) girl.

DS1 and GD2 came yesterday with a gift card for Mothers day. If all goes to plan they are eating here on Saturday, GD2 got to choose what we will eat, wraps!

I will see if the neighbour fancies a bike ride otherwise I will go alone.

Gem, I hope you get some help with your tooth tomorrow.

As for losing things, DS1 saw my flowers, they are in a vase they bought the first time they visited Praque, many years ago. He said we got you that hand painted plate mum, they did, could I for the life of me think where it was. When they went home I searched cupboards etc, no plate, I decided I must have taken it to the charity shop by mistake. I was sat watching TV last night, I have a small table in here with 2 layers, what did I see on the bottom layer?? That is an age thing! We both walked past it a few times and never noticed.

Oh Gemini, I am so pleased you have got some attention at last, pain, as Daisy said, can make you very exhausted.

I have to say hello everyone, I will be back later. My GD wants me to take her to the bank this morning, her partner has their car today. Plumber will be back today to clear up, he has finished the job. Not sure what time he will arrive.

Good morning, a sunny day here but still windy. I have just been for a walk, first one in ages and I feel shattered. I am so out of condition. I really must get back into my walking routine.

Pleased to hear you have an appointment with your dentist Gem.m I have to agree with Daisy, tooth pain is terrible and really debilitating so,hope you can get it sorted out.

I had a nice visit with DILs parents yesterday morning, but sadly she has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Hopefully it is early stage and she is having keyhole surgery soon. It bought everything back to me but we had a good chat and didn’t dwell on it so I think the visit did us all good. I hadn’t seen them for a year, just before the first lockdown so we had a lot to catch up with.

DD seems to be improving with the shingles. She says it’s not so painful and she feels better in herself so that’s a relief.

No plans here today apart from having Dexter, his paw is still sore and he won’t leave it alone so now has a bandage on it. At least he can’t keep licking it now.

Have a good day everyone 🌞

Enfys, I am so unfit now that I rarely walk, I know what you mean. I hope your DIL's mum has successful treatment and good recovery. It would have been hard for you. Such early days since dear P x
We have had a quick trip to mum's bungalow to do some more.
OH is off to golf now and I'm going have lunch before going out.

Lizzie - how funny about the plate, but they say the best place to hide something is in plain view, don't they! I'm glad you found it.

Oma - so glad B didn't go hungry, bless him.

Enfys - the wind has been enough to blow you off your feet, and it makes walking more tiring, so don't be too hard on yourself. How lovely to see DIL's parents - they must miss her as much as you miss your son and grandson. I do hope it's an early diagnosis, but it must still have hit you very hard. Thank goodness your DD is getting better. Shingles are awful. Poor Dexter. He's done well not to take the bandage off though. It must itch or hurt for him to keep licking it.

Gem - it's no fun walking when it hurts you, and although the experts say exercise gently, nothing feels gentle when every step is that painful. Enjoy your afternoon with your ex-neighbour.

I've done nothing much this morning - portioned up 2 kg of dog food (I usually do about 6 or 8 kg so this didn't take long), emailed a niece, and am just off to make us a sandwich for lunch.

Daisy, I seem to have done nothing today either, yes, funny about the plate, I thought I couldn't have got rid of it but didn't realise it was in full few of us both.

It was lovely and sunny this morning. Hubby picked me up from in laws on his way home from posting a parcel.
We sat in the garden having a coffee. We then decided to do some gardening.
Hubby strimmed the edges, then i cut the grass.
It was lovely and warm. Then an hour later, the heavens opened and temperatures dropped.

Enfys, hope DIL's mum makes a full and speedy recovery.

Gem, hope you get some relief at the dentists tomorrow.

Just got back, sorry I haven't been on here much today. I took GD to the bank, she had to wake baby H so that put her out of sorts. H cried a lot when GD was in the bank, tried driving around thinking she would go off to sleep again but was still crying when GD came out of the bank, apart from a short time playing with my keys. I had a call from a local friend this morning so I then popped around to see her as I was out in the car, had a lovely catch up chat. Just got back, need to wash the bathroom floor so that I can use my new shower. Will catch up with you all tomorrow.

Plant - I always used to feel quite anxious if I couldn't settle any of the babies - mine, or grandchildren. You just want to comfort them, don't you. Let us know how the new shower is.

Nanto - after my amateur forecast of rain today, it held off until 4 o'clock! I'd just finished mowing the lawn, so good timing for both of us.

Oma - so now the hunt is on.

Gem - what time is your appointment tomorrow?
