I had a nice time with DD and GS 1 here this afternoon.
As well as the parcel from Lush which I was waiting for, my new driving licence and the Disney and Universal 2022 tickets to replace our 2020 ones arrived

Nanto I have just had those Birds eye fish nuggets in a warm Bread roll , they were really nice just like Fish fingers ,
I wasn't hungry so didn't want a big meal . decided just on a sandwich made a nice change

We had them with salad. Made a nice change from scampi or breaded chicken.

Good morning. The sun is burning the frost off.

Hubby gone to the car boot with his brother, so i'm going to crack on with my jobs.
First job, i need to pack all the meat in the freezer.
Hopefully,we are doing the gardening this afternoon.

Washing done ready to iron but we meeting our friends for coffee first this morning at the coast ,

At some point I need to go to Dunelm get some more deep fitted sheets ,
The new Premier Inn mattress is much deeper than my memory foam one , and although my fitted sheets are deep sided they dont quite fit under

Looked on line last night and they do a deeper one than I have ,

Gem you will be pleased when its all sorted like Daisy was with her cousins .

Nanto I find when B is out I can get much more done

Plant what a nice thing to look forward too a wedding , and Harry Potter theme right up mine and Gems street

My thoughts are with Glamm and her family today.

WG, wondering how your OH is today, I hope they will be able to remove the drain tomorrow.

Oma, I must have a look at those deep fitted sheets. I have some from Dunelm but they only just fit and such a struggle to get them on my deep mattress.

Going to finish tidying the greenhouse today, then Sil can unload the compost in there for me. I have three tomato plants I want to grow in there and a tumble one to grow in a hanging basket outside. Planted some lettuce seeds in a cold frame. I have some empty pots, bulbs finished, petunias are going in those. Sun shining, these jobs will not get done is I don't get a move on. Will pop back later.

Good morning, it is the same here Daisy, sunny but cold! Oma, it will be cold on the coast.

I was sorting DVD's out yesterday and found the DVD's I made of GD's when they were small, I don't think they would let me film them now. I have been looking through them, time certainly does soon pass!

Had a lovely few hours at the coast ,
We went to South shields its along our coast line about 30 minutes from us ,
It was chilly when the sun went in but it kept breaking through and we soon forgot about it as we were chatting so much ,

Only came away because the rain started ,
Popped into our big Asda on way back as needed Coffee , well it never stays at that does it , came out with a trolley full again

I have had to take some headache tablets , I think a combination of the cold and lots of laughter brought it on

Lizzie we have a couple of DVD's of our grand children when they were little i must get them out and watch them

Daisy a late start never hurt anyone xx

Sounds lovely Oma a lovely blow from the sea. Nice to catch up with friends.

Usually me having a late start Daisy but I have really been on the ball today and feeling very pleased with myself. The green house looks lovely and tidy and the growbag in position ready for the tomato plants. I didn't get around to planting the petunias, perhaps tomorrow. All the pots in the courtyard need a good water this evening. Spent the early evening next door with some bubbles, it was quite an hysterical evening, choosing what food to arrange to have for the evening of the wedding. There are going to be some veggies there so Sil's choice of a hog roast is definitely out.

Looked a bit iffy earlier,so we got the gardening done before dinner.
The washing has dried lovely.
