    Good Easter Saturday morning, everyone.

Nanto - lovely cheery graphic. Enjoy your shopping trip.

Gem - I'm glad you slept last night - you certainly needed it. You probably ought to rest rather than go with OH to the great deck removal. I hope all goes well at the dentist. xx

It was an early start for me. I woke up about 7.20 and was about to turn over for another half hour when I remembered we were near the top of the dog food delivery list today, meaning "very early". So I slipped my dressing gown on and went to open the living room curtains, and the van was just pulling up. Eva didn't wake up till she heard the delivery driver's voice. Some guard dog she is!

The weather's dull but dry, so I might get some more gardening done today. No other plans, though.

Oma, she's lovely, gorgeous hair. It must have been such a lovely surprise to get the photo.
I would just be sitting chatting to DD and GS1 if I went with OH, but I agree it's probably better to stay home. Nothing I need to do apart from go to the card shop in the village for the balloon. I will drive up so will be there and back in no time.
Daisy I hope Eva appreciates you sacrificing a lie in for her food!

Oma - what a beautiful photo of your GD. They grow up so fast, don't they. I sympathise over getting photos of your GS2. My teenage GSs seem to melt away when anyone tries to point a phone at them!

Enfys - I hop the pain in your hip has eased - it's not good if it keeps you awake. Have you seen the doctor about it? It will be great if your GD can visit over the week-end, but I can imagine how busy they must be getting the restaurant ready for re-opening. It's the same for my DS2 and DIL. They were trying to get everything ready by the end of this week as next week the girls will be off school, so not so easy to get things done.

WeeGranny - I'm just catching up with the last couple of days. How is your OH now? Have his stitches started to dissolve? You must be worn out with everything that's going on at the moment, so I hope your DD and SIL will be able to give you a bit of help where needed in return for you looking after the furry one while they're away.

Glamm - have things settled down after your Botox treatment? How is the garden growing? I was thinking about you when I was getting a potato bag ready for planting yesterday, and wondered if you'd got yours in yet.

Lizzie - you never fail to impress me with your enterprise. Well done on spotting the fly screens being removed. Has your friend had any news yet?

Clover - how are you? I was wondering if you'd made the most of the recent sunny weather with a walk round the coast? Have you been able to see your DSs? The Welsh residents in our family are really worried about the possible influx of visitors this week-end - people crossing the border from England to go to their caravans on the north Wales coast. OH's youngest brother has a huge caravan park at the end of their road - impossible to avoid.

It's amazing how much there is to catch up with after a couple of days' absence!

Oma what a very pretty girl you must be very proud of her x

I had my 2nd injection yesterday it was another cancellation so I wizzed over before they changed their minds,I've done well with NHS cancellation's this week the botox has settled down now and there are no problems at all.

Today I am picking up DD and we are delivering my GGCs eggs and little gifts for 11am then off to Aldi and farmers market the man I buy the purple sprouting broccoli from keeps my order for me until I get there, the market is on once a month and closes at 1pm last time I went I bought some fresh kippers which where delicious.

I boasted how well my last years hanging baskets where doing well I spoke too soon just over 2 days they dropped and went all stringy just dont understand why ?
There are some fushia shrubs coming on now in pots so I will replant them into the baskets with some trailing plants.

My neighbour Jim is doing so well he is out and about to the local shops for his paper every morning and looks much brighter.right at the end of our cul-de-sac a man moved in 2 yrs ago poor chap had 3 strokes before he moved here hence him getting a bungalow he is only 62 now, well he had a fall 2 weeks ago & managed to get himself on his recliner chair but according to his friend who visits he was in awful painhe didn't want medical help but in the end the pal rang ambulance and its been found the poor chap has had a broken hip for 2 weeks he must have been in agony all that time he will be away for a long time as he has to learn to walk again .Its been a bad year in my Road so many people poorly.

Must get a move on now as due at DDs at 10.30am and need a quick shower and make myself look human for the day. xxx

Good morning, I have been on the bike for my eggs, the man was busy planting his vegetable plants! It is still a cold wind but I enjoyed the ride.

Oma, what a pretty girl, they do grow so quickly.

Glamm, that poor man in pain for so long.

Daisy, my friend goes this week for a biopsy then 5 days later for the results. Yes, I was pleased with the fly screens, what a waste if they are thrown away!!! Waste not, want not!!!

Oma, lovely pic of GD, love her hair, can I see a likeness to her daddy. I am so pleased you still see pics of them.

Glamm, pleased to hear your botox treatment has settled down and you are more comfortable. I am sure GGC will be pleased with the eggs. Good news that your neighbour Jim is venturing out again, if only for his paper but sorry to hear about your new neighbour's fall, he must have been in awful pain.

Gemini, I hope the dentist will be able to do something to relieve your pain. You are wise to rest, it is so cold outside today.

Lizzie, well spotted, what a waste to throw away the fly screens. You would do well on a desert island.

Wee Granny, I hope you are not tiring yourself too much with looking after your OH and the move. I hope there will be no hitches there. I am dying to know exactly where you are moving to.

Our family bubble are going to GS1s this afternoon, not sure what for yet. I will take the GGC's eggs. Baby H a bit young for an egg, I think we are seeing them tomorrow.

Plant, I'll put you out of your misery.....Flackwell Heath! No moving date yet, it's in the hand of the solicitors. We have no chains in either the buying or selling, so fingers crossed, we shouldn't have to wait too long. Hopefully before the 30th June which is the end of the Stamp Duty holiday!

We are tackling the under stairs cupboard when DD is here. Don't think that's been looked at properly for a loooooooong time! It'll be interesting to see what we find in its depths!

Going to do some baking today, Cheesecake for tomorrow's dinner and Easter brownies. Need to get going really, but first I've got to put the Waitrose delivery away.

OH's stitches seem to be disappearing, but I'm a bit worried about one bit which is a bit open. Just have to keep an eye on it and if necessary, phone the hospital and ask for advice.

Hope everyone has a good day xx

ps Oma, GD is growing up very quickly. Pretty girl!

WG We used to live in Flackwell Heath, both of our children were born there. Nice village. We shall be able to wave across the valley.

                          Got everything i needed/wanted.
Shopping has been put away. I will freeze the fresh meat tomorrow.
Ground beef from the farm shope will be cooked in the slow cooker tomorrow and made into cottage pies.

After a chilly start,it turned out quite warm.

                            Afternoon all

A lovely sunny day here as well.
DS1 is here for the WE as he is my bubble.
We have just been for a walk round the cliffs. The beach looked very busy even though it is large and the tide was going out. There were also lots of people on the cliff path but everyone was very good at standing back in the narrow bits to allow for safe passing.
I really hope the influx of visitors doesn’t set back our Covid recovery programme.

My BIL was taken into hospital yesterday as they suspected a TIA or mild stroke. Of course it would be a Bank Holiday weekend and of course my sister couldn’t go with him.

Now I am released from shielding I am going back to work for my “lady” I haven’t been since before Christmas. I was in two minds whether to return but they are desperate for me to go back and if I find it gets too much for me I can always “give notice” at some time in the future.

I hope everyone with aches or pains feels better soon ,also family members.Enjoy the rest of the Easter break even if we have to put thermals on again!

Just to say I am back. My tooth is more comfortable from the stuff she put on it. I have a weeks antibiotics and have taken the first one.
OH and I just having a cuppa now.
